08 : Encounter

 Ryuma felt as his brain stopped working. He was staring at the boy but with a little jerk of his head he finally calmed down his nerves. 

"Hello, my name is Ensho Ryuma… Do you also like ramen from here or maybe because it's raining outside that's why you came here?" Ryuma felt a sudden shame as he contemplated on his jumbled lines. The whole sentence felt weird. 

"Uhhh… *slurp* yes? Did you say something to me?" Naruto spoke as he savored the last remaining noodle from the bowl leaving a little broth behind. 

"yup. My name is Ensho Ryuma and Do you also like ramen from here?" Ryuma reconveyed what he said earlier, cutting down all unnecessary parts. 

"HMM.. the ramen from here is the best you know" Naruto replied with a bright smile on his face. All of the dullness that he had on his face was now gone and a curious little Naruto was in front of him who was ready to dive into a long conversation.

"Yup, I totally agree. With the perfect softness of noodles and thickness of the broth, this is the best meal to have" Ryuma replied with a smile on his face, getting carefreely invested in the conversation.

"Hmm hmm i agree. The ramen here is the best in the world" (naruto)

"Ho ho i didn't know my skills are that top notch. Here's your order and do you want more Naruto ?" The sage of six bowls came with a bowl full of noodles. 

"Ohh i…. It's okay, I am full" Naruto spoke with a hesitation in his voice. 

"Master, get one more bowl for him, the same he was eating, I as his senior, gonna pay for that" Ryuma spoke with a smile on his face.

" Just in second, and don't need to pay its from the house" Teuchi said with a smile as he quickly moved towards the back to bring the order.

"I actually really didn't want more, Ryuma-san" Naruto said with a little voice.

" It's fine, it's fine.. You know it's very rare to find someone who matches the same taste as me. Putting this aside, I am a second year at ninja academy. What's your name?" Ryuma said, removing the hesitation that Naruto was having in his mind.

"I am Uzumaki Naruto, the guy who will become the next Hokage of leaf village. Also, I am in my first year of ninja academy " Naruto replied with a big smile on his face. 

" You sure have a big dream. *slurp* but to achieve that you need to put extreme hard work. Though I support your dream and hope you will become Hokage one day. Also, as your senpai i will make sure to aid you in your path to achieve that so, if you find any problems with anything just tell me" (Ryuma)

" Really ?" Naruto said with a shocked expression in his face.

" Do you think I am making fun of you ?" with a curious expression Ryuma said.

"No it's not like that…. Actually people usually don't believe in me when i say this and more often make fun of me, you know" with a sad expression naruto replied.

"Oh.. i see. Listen Naruto when people don't believe in you, just focus on your goals and prove them wrong by achieving it. That's my ninja way" (Ryuma)

"Ohhh…. cool, you have your own ninja way ? now i will prove them wrong and become the next Hokage" Naruto spoke with stars in his eyes.

" Well I don't think you will become the next hokage" Ryuma said with a smirk.

" Are you taking me lightly? i practice everyday and you see this year i will pass the exam with the top grade this year, you know" Naruto said with an angry voice.

"Ha ha ha ha…. It's not like that , I think you will become either sixth or seventh hokage. Not the next one." Ryuma replied, laughing at Naruto's changing expressions.

"What does that mean ?" Naruto asked with confused face.

"hmm.. Listen closely. This is just a theory of mine but it has a high chance of becoming real. Have you ever seen the third hokage ?" Naruto nodded his head in response.

"With how old he is I think sooner or later he will be gone so that means a new one will come. Thus all in all you will become either sixth or seventh hokage" Ryuma explained however Naruto had a grim expression on his face.

"What happened?" Ryuma asked looing at naruto's expression.

"I think I will have to grow up quickly now. I don't want anyone bad to become the next hokage so its best i will become the next one, you know" naruto said with strong determination.

"You dumbass just focus on your classes and don't think unnecessary. I was joking about lord third and for your information only the strongest and best ninja in the village become the hokage" Ryuma replied to Naruto.

"I also know that you know" (Naruto)

"Well senpai.. Can you teach me a little about my books, you know I am just a little weak on it. Just a little you know. Also tell me the path to get my ninja way" Naruto said with a shy expression on his face.

"Of course I can help you with that. I am very good at studies. But about your ninja way, you will probably have find it on your own" (Ryuma)

"But how did you get yours ?" Naruto asked with a curious and anticipating look in his eyes.

" he he he.. In my class I used to sleep a little in theory classes and those dumbone's gave me the sleepyhead name. So in return I aced the written exam and then they all had that shocked expression. That was the best" Ryuma said with an evil grin on his face.

"ohh.. You really did that. Please teach me senpai.. I am not that good in written things" (naruto)

"Okay, although I myself stay busy usually. So let's meet once a week on saturday here at ichiraku around this time. I will teach you here and in that way we can enjoy ichiraku as dinner once a week" Ryuma said with a smile on his face.

"Here's your order. Sorry it got a little late, the noodles were not ready. Moving that aside, do you want a refill boy ?" Teuchi came with the order and asked Ryuma if he wanted a refill or not.

Ryuma agreed and got a refill for himself. While devouring the noodles three of them talked a little with each other and Teuchi took some reviews on his food during the conversation. With rain finally down out and stomach full, Ryuma took his leave and following him, Naruto also went his home.
