25th Inbetween

At about 11 am Dark Dark was in the studio playing drums. Numb came in, he stopped playing and asked:"You came here to stare at your base again?" "Yeah, yeah, really funny. You know, I was just thinking about something", he replied. "And you won't say what that was", Dark Dark assumed. "Just as you won't tell me what you were writing on yesterday", Numb went on. Dark Dark answered:"because I'm still writing on it. It's not finished." "But you will show me then?" he questioned. "We will all play it next week. And... you know, we have a concert in two days, right? We should do a band meeting", Dark said. "Yeah, right. I think half past 11 am is a good time for the meeting", Numb wondered. Dark nooded, stood up to leave and tell the others. "I will get Fade and Saturday then", Numb added and left too.

Dark Dark entered the second floor and got to Trick's room. He already heard him playing piano across the aisle and knocked at the door. Slowly Trick opened and Dark said: "band meeting at half past 11, you coming?"

He nooded and replied shyly: "yeah."

Dark Dark smiled and left to go to Fade's room and see if Numb already talked to him. His room was empty, so he wanted to go back to the studio on the first floor. Maybe he could keep on writing a little till the meeting starts. Carefully he sat down at the desk in the studio, gattered his notes and read through everything quickly. Trick entered quietly but Dark Dark realised his presence. He was always early.

Then Numb entered with Saturday and Fade and said:"good, we are all here." Dark Dark turned around and asked Numb:"you have the old setlist, right?" "Yeah", he answered and held up a piece of paper with 13 songs. "Let's change it up a bit", Saturday suggested smilingly and put the setlist on the table. They got around it and Fade said, he wanted the song Eternity instead of Psych. "Alright but I want Lonely But Together instead of Drop", Numb responded. "But Drop is such a great song. Can't we take Inbetween instead of that?" Saturday asked. Dark Dark and the others agreed." Which song should be the last? Cross The Line, like always?", Numb wondered. The others nodded. "What we want for the opener?", Fade questioned. "I would say eighter Raise or Wake Me Up or Flaming Fire", Saturday and Trick said they would be for Raise. Numb and Fade were for Flaming Fire, so Dark Dark desided to open with Raise and play Flaming Fire for second. The whole band was happy with that.
