20th Doesn't Matter

Menace was alone crying in her room on her bed when Dark Dark was at the aisle passed her door and heard her. Carefully he knocked, asked what's wrong and if he could come in. "No!", she called unter tears.

She needs me now, even if she doesn't want to. I wanna help her and cheer her up if I can.

Slowly Dark Dark entered the room and went to Menace. She was way to upset so she didn't say anything else.

He sat next to her and tried to pull her into a hug but she pushed him away.

"Then let me talk to you", he begged. She shock her head. Dark sighed and said: "This is about Trick, right? He got hurt cause you lost control." Menace didn't reply.

"Listen", he tried to take her hands and begged to look at him "this isn't your fault. You didn't hurt him."

"I hurted him. I'm a monster", she answered.

"What? No, you are not. Menace, you are not. You are a beautiful, strong creature and I believe in you. You didn't wanted to hurt Trick."

"But I did!", she called.

Dark Dark responded: "that doesn't matter. Your telekinese did it. It's a chaotic, powerful skill. You can't always have control over it."

"But I should! It's my skill", Menace replied.

Dark Dark sighed again and kinda ran out of words:"maybe you should talk to Trick."

"I can't!", she screamed desprerately.

"You have to talk to your brother, Menace. I'm sure he wants too", he tried to convince her.

Finally but slowly she stopped crying and let him hug her. She enjoyed his warmth, he smiled and held her tighter. After a while, she let go and wiped her face.

"I will go and talk to Trick", she said and stood up.

Dark Dark nooded and asked gently: "Should I come with you?" Menace shock her head and replied: "No, it's okay" and left the room.

When Menace reached the first floor, got to the station and opend the door, Trick was in the bed looking surprised at her.

He looked so hurt.

Menace forgot about her worries and said:"hi." But she didn't really know what to say.

"Hi Menace, nice to see you", Trick responded and smiled a little. She rejoined a tiny smile and asked anxious:"How... how are you?"

He released she cried, it was visible in her face and especially in her eyes.

"I will be fine, Menace. Don't worry. It doesn't hurt, just takes some time", he told her. Silently she nooded.

He is just saying that to don't make me feel bad but he is actual lying. He is in pain. I did that.

Trick saw, she wanted to leave and she still thought it's all on her so he said:"I forgive you."

Menace looked back at him and a tear rolled down her check. Quickly she wiped it away.

That didn't change anything. I knew that.
