88 CHAPTER 88 - THE ANTI-HOBO FACE SLAP
Himeno Yuusha's next enemy is quite a peculiar duo, yet quite common to see around.
The opponent Kaiser is a young adult man with long shaggy hair, a messy ungroomed mustache, beard, and bloodshot eyes that have never known sleep. He is dressed like a hobo, wearing tattered black pants and a poorly sewn old suit.
The opponent Gladiator is no good either. It was a homeless old man with a worn-out bonnet, ragged leather jacket, dirty jeans, and rubber shoes that has seen the good old days. He has an empty shopping cart as his weapon. According to my Gladiatrix System, this Gladiator is a Cyber Scavenger.
"These opponents are so dirty to look at. The audacity! I'll finish this quickly." Himeno cringed.
That purple cat's discrimination knows no time and place. Well, she has a point in saying those words, but not so loud that even her opponents can hear it! That's Himeno Yuusha for everyone!
[Battle Start]
There was a loud beep and then the fight has officially begun!
Upon hearing the buzzer, Himeno Yuusha revealed her long metal claws and dashed forward at a breakneck speed!
"Ryan, don't let them utter any bad breath!" Himeno commanded her Kaiser. Ryan Radars replied with an emotionless nod and then turned his focus on the five Command Cards right in front of his face.
The hobo Kaiser immediately acted upon seeing the purple cat charge relentlessly not towards his Gladiator, but towards him! Is she planning to directly attack a Kaiser just to finish this fight quickly!?
"Activate Equip Card: Molotov!"
All of a sudden, the Cyber Scavenger's shopping cart materialized about ten Molotov cocktails. I have heard that Cyber Scavengers have the innate ability to multiply Equip Cards, but I've never seen an Equip Card multiply by ten in a single activation!
"Fire in the hole!" The Cyber Scavenger grabbed the Molotov cocktails and rained towards Himeno's path. A wide flame wall was immediately created to make a barrier to protect the hobo Kaiser!
"Activate Skill Card: Swirling Water Slash!" Ryan Radars finally activated his first Command Card.
Himeno Yuusha's claws were coated with bluish energy. She spun gracefully like an ice ballerina and then sliced through the wall of flames the Cyber Scavenger created!
Now that the path is clear, Himeno Yuusha can now directly attack the hobo Kaiser!
"Aaaaah! Protect me!" The opponent Kaiser cried as he activated another Command Card in a panic! "Activate Skill Card: Turbo Rush!"
Nitrous exhaust sprouted on the Cyber Scavenger's shopping cart, and then it revved with an instant acceleration! Flames blew out from the shopping cart's exhaust as it reached maximum speeds to crash toward the purple cat!
When Himeno Yuusha realized that the old man in the shopping cart was after her, she cringed once again.
"Disgusting!" Himeno Yuusha cried. Then, she swiped her claws downward, slicing the Cyber Scavenger's shopping cart into three different pieces!
"Aaaaah!" The Cyber Scavenger panicked before getting kicked in the face by the purple cat.
As soon as the opponent Gladiator was put to the ground, Himeno Yuusha surged forward to cut the enemy Kaiser. I mean cut the opponent because this is Himeno Yuusha we are talking about.
But before the blade would touch the poor hobo's throat, the poor hobo cried.
"I yield! I yield!" He cried.
Himeno Yuusha stopped her blades from injuring the pitiful losing Kaiser.
"I just wanted the prize money for this fight! No need to hurt me! I will concede defeat!" The hobo Kaiser declared.
"Stop talking, your foul breath is contaminating the air I breathe!" Himeno Yuusha didn't give a shit as she immediately backhand-slapped the Kaiser with her clawed gauntlet!
"Uwaaah!" The poor Kaiser cried as he dropped semi-dead on the floor.
[Battle Finished]
"The winner and the pair who will advance to the next round are Himeno Yuusha and Ryan Radars!" The homosexual emcee announced. Just like before, the crowd refused to cheer for the purple cat and her lackey even though it resulted in a quick win.
To emphasize this fight, was the fastest win in the entire night of this Battle Fiesta. Himeno Yuusha is merciless as ever, but I think this is turning comedic.
"Hmph!" Himeno Yuusha flicked one of her purple ponytails and then coldly exited the arena, just like always.
There are only a few more competitors in Bracket A for this Battle Fiesta. And since Himeno Yuusha has finally made it to the final round, she will be hoping to fight us next.
