86 CHAPTER 86 - FIRE BUNNY BARRAGE!
The best way to defeat an opponent is when they are certain they have won.
I don't know if the above phrase was said by an Asian poet, a blockbuster movie actor, or an anime show. But I made sure that I take it to heart.
At the alleged end of this battle, the Cyber Samurai was able to land a decisive blow towards my Gladiatrix. The bloodied crimson katana has sliced Raynevere clean, so the enemy Kaiser is about to command his Gladiator to attack me directly.
However, the first one who noticed that something was wrong was the Cyber Samurai. He may be buffed with his Blood Seppuku making him berserk, but he knew that his blade easily went through the opponent Gladiatrix. He looked at his katana, wondering why it seemed like he hit some air.
A split second later, Raynevere's slashed body flickered out of existence, like a hologram.
That is where I revealed the Command Card I silently activated just before the blow.
"I activated the Skill Card: Hologram Illusion to fake the location of my Gladiatrix," I said with a smug. "The moment you closed in, she was no longer there."
"Nani!" Shinsengumi Kuro gasped.
The Cyber Samurai was baffled upon the discovery of the Hologram Illusion. He looked left, but the Cyber Elf was not there. He looked right, and then he was surprised when he saw the enemy charging at him!
"Activate Skill Card: Fire-Rabbit Kick!" I immediately activated my last Command Card for this fight!
Raynevere's heels became coated with flames and then she lept up in the skies! With tremendous momentum and quick movements, she delivered the first flying kick toward the enemy's masked face!
"Yah! Yayayayayah!" Raynevere unleashed barrages of flaming feet toward the Cyber Samurai's forehead, cheeks, chin, neck, and chest!
With such consecutive successions of burning kicks, the Cyber Samurai felt the impacts and knelt to the ground! His demon mask shattered due to the rapid blows, and we see an orcish face with a pale complexion. His eyes lost their color, but he is still to be put down!
"Hiyah!" Raynevere finished her combo kicks with a fiery roundhouse kick that finally made the Cyber Samurai lay flat on the ground!
"Shimata!" Shinsegumi Kuro gasped once again upon seeing his unconscious Cyber Samurai on the ground.
Now that the enemy Gladiator has been put down, this is our time for the final act!
"Raynevere! Direct attack on the enemy Kaiser!" I cried out loud.
"You got it!" Raynevere cheerfully replied.
Raynevere gracefully aimed her bow toward the middle-aged samurai opponent and then fired an energy arrow! There was quite a distance from the Cyber Elf and the opponent Kaiser but the projectile was too fast to evade for a normal human.
Shinsengumi Kuro just stood there to accept his defeat.
"You sweethearts win. Good luck on your next battle." He said.
As soon as the energy arrow landed on his chest, he staggered for a bit. The energy arrow Raynevere unleashed only inflicts minimal damage that is akin to a cat's kick. She made sure that the opponent Kaiser will not be hurt, unlike a certain someone who looks and acts like a cat with rabies.

The crowd cheered and then the emcee cried.
"It was a spectacular fight! The winner for this round is Elzane Chaldeas and Raynevere Treenity!"
The audience cried with joy once again.
To end this round and continue it with good vibes, Raynevere and I made a high-ten once more and then waved at our fans. Just kidding, I'm not sure if I have a fan here. Raynevere can certainly have the audiences she wants because of her charisma.

After the battle, we went backstage to find our designated room to rest. But right in the corridor, we saw four familiar faces.
It was Firius the red-haired Cyber Knight and his Kaiser Esthesia, and they are with the Battle Fiesta Champions Sefiras and Nigel. They are there to greet us on our second consecutive win!
"Congratulations, Elzane and Raynevere!" Firius shook both of our hands.
"Hmph. Not bad, Raynevere." Esthesia crossed her arms and turned away.
"Good luck with your next two battles! You're nearly there!" Nigel cheered us.
"Raynevere, don't forget our business deal once you beat Himeno Yuusha!" Sefiras held her waist like a dictator as always, but she has a smile on her face.
"Thank you for coming tonight, everyone~" Raynevere clasped her hands and greeted back.
I was too shy to speak, especially in this crowd. But I mustered my courage and then I was about to say my gratitude, until-
A woman with purple hair and cyber-cat ears passed on our back. She looked furious, but not the regular furiousness where she glares at Raynevere with deathly eyes.
Instead, she's looking at the Gladiatrix Champion Siferas.
