( CH 2)- THE HORROR BEGIN

When Jimmy starts reading the papers, the words seem eerily familiar, as if he's said them himself: "HE IS THE ONE WHO DID THIS. HE IS THE ONE WHO TRAPPED US. HE IS TAKING MY WHOLE FAMILY AWAY FROM ME." As he continues reading, he feels a heavy headache, and the room begins to disappear, giving way to the sensation of fire and blurred vision. Angry, yelling voices fill his ears, and he faints.

When he regains consciousness, he finds himself in an old house and hears his grandma's familiar voice, yelling at someone. Despite not knowing why, Jimmy starts walking towards the voice as if hypnotized. He reaches a room where the voice is coming from and enters. A loud scream pierces the air—it's his grandma's voice. He snaps back to his senses and sees his grandma being stabbed in the stomach with a huge, sharp knife, blood flowing. "RUN, JIMMY!" she screams. A man pulls the knife out and brutally decapitates her.

Jimmy screams, "Grandma!" His whole body shivers in terror. The man looks at him and says, "Hi, Jimmy," in a chilling tone. Jimmy runs out of the room in a panic, not knowing where to go. The old house echoes with a haunting piano melody from the stairs where his grandma was killed. The music grows louder, hurting his ears, until he faints again.

Jimmy's eyes open to the sound of his grandma's scream. He jolts up, heart pounding, and realizes he's in his own room. Sunlight filters through the curtains, indicating it's 10 AM. Everything seems normal—the temperature, the ambiance. He frantically searches for the papers but finds nothing. The envelope, the old tattered pages, are all gone. Only the comics remain.

Confused and scared, Jimmy knows it wasn't just a dream. He hears a faint, crying voice coming from downstairs. Heading down, he sees his mom sobbing while his dad consoles her. When his mom sees him, she hugs him tightly, crying even harder.

"Mom, why are you crying? What happened?" Jimmy asks, his voice trembling.

"Your grandma..." his mom begins, but his dad interrupts.

"I'll tell him," his dad says, guiding Jimmy away from his mom. He tells her, "Please take care of yourself," in a worried voice, hugging her gently.

Jimmy's father takes him to the living room and sits him down. "Jimmy, something happened last night. Your grandma... she passed away," he says softly.

Jimmy's world shatters. Tears stream down his face as he processes the news. He had a feeling something was wrong after last night's strange experience, but hearing it confirmed is devastating. His father hugs him tightly, both of them mourning their loss together.

The day of the funeral arrives. Family and friends gather to pay their respects. Jimmy, along with his parents, stands by the casket, tears in their eyes. Uncle David, Aunt Jennifer, and Emilia are there, offering support. Aunt Nancy and her boyfriend Nick also attend, sharing their condolences.

Jimmy's mom steps forward to give a speech. "My mother was a wonderful woman. In her last days, we didn't spend as much time together as we should have, but she was always in our hearts. Her stories, her laughter, her strength—these are the memories we'll cherish forever," she says, her voice breaking.

Jimmy watches as they lower his grandma's casket into the ground. After the burial, everyone starts to leave, but Jimmy lingers, feeling a profound sadness. As he stands there, he hears a familiar, chilling voice: "Let's meet in the future, Jimmy."

He turns around quickly, but no one is there. Shivering, he whispers, "Grandma?"

The voice haunts him as he walks away, leaving the cemetery with a heavy heart.
