Catch Them Both

It has been six hours since she has sent her minions out to capture the Awakened, and yet there was no report of even a glimpse of him. Hope was that possible?

The tall woman threw everything from the desk in front of her. Why wasn't anything going her way? All she wanted was a chance to prove herself, price that she has the ability to stand beside the Great leader. But now everything was going to crap!

"Jeez, fiesty much Yoon? I didn't think that one set back would cause you this much stress."

The tall woman, whose name was Yoon, rubbed her head hoping to dispel the emerging headache.

"F*ck you, Roman."

"I'd rather you do it, love" said the man sitting on the sofa opposite from her.

He was a tall pale man with thick black lashes and hair. If you had to describe him, just think of a pervy, yet attractive, vampire. And that, ladies and gentlemen, was exactly what he was.

"I assume you're here for a report?" Yoon spoke through good teeth.

"Yes and no, my succulent Beau. I'm here because a little Birdy told me that a twerp flew away from you. Have you any words?"

"It is true that the best escaped from confinement, however the situation is under control."

Roman stood up and circled Yoon. He looked deep into her eyes and lazily spoke.

"Oh? Are you sure about that? Did you perhaps know that after his Grand escape, the twerp made his way through the Archives and killed at least three guards? And perhaps did you know that he took with him the book of Saęg? Did you also know that the counsel had been alerted about it all?"

Yoon was mortified. Who has alerted the counsel? If she couldn't capture the Awakened and that bastard soon she would be retired. She hadn't even been given a chance to lie with the Great one. No... she would not let these two setbacks hold her down. She had spent too much time and efforts to even get this position, to be so close and yet so far from her goals.

"Tell the counsel to not worry, as I will find both of them and make sure that neither can effect the Great one's plan."

"I wish you all the luck, my Beau." Roman said with a smirk, irritating the daylight out of Yoon.
