Chapter 7
“Thank you for dinner, it was delicious,” she called out to my parents before I shut the door.
“Oh my God, I am so sorry,” I apologized immediately.
Charlie laughed and sat down on my bed. “It’s okay. If it makes you feel better, my parents ask me all the time, too.”
I turned to face her. “Really?” I asked timidly.
“Uh huh.” She grabbed my hands and pulled me between her legs. She looked up at me and smiled. “All. The. Time.”
“What do you tell them?” I asked as casually as possible, but I was dying to know the answer.
“I tell them that you’re the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen.” She pulled me down so that I was now straddling her lap. “And that you’re incredibly smart. And talented. Super sexy.” She kissed my neck softly, making her way up to my jawline.
“You do not tell them I’m sexy.”
