Goodbye mother

Next morning, Layla woke up. "Oh my God! It wasn't a dream." said Layla and blushed after thinking about last night. She stood up and started dancing in circles while singing a song. "What a melodious voice." said Noah peeking from the room's door. Layla stopped. "Where are your manners? Knock before entering." said Layla. "But i didn't enter. I am still standing outside." said Noah and started laughing. "Come inside then." said Layla. "Thanks my lord. I was worried that you wouldn't let me in." said Noah teasing Layla. "Why are you here so early?" asked Layla. "It's because you have an unexpected guest waiting for you outside." told Noah. "Who?" asked Layla. "Gace Adrian." answered Noah. Layla changed her clothes and moved outside.

        "Welcome Gace! What can i do for you?" asked layla standing in the living room. "long time no see." said Gace. "Come to the point." said Layla. Noah came and stood with Layla too. "I am here to help you in your revenge. I am on your side now." said Gace. "And How can i believe you?" questioned Layla. "Dad abandoned me and i have nowhere to be. I want to show him that what can i do. We have a common enemy so why not work together and take him down?" asked Gace. "Okay! you can stay." said Layla. "Wow that was easy." said Gace. Noah was surprised by Layla's reply. "But Layla....." said Noah but Layla cut his line. "It's okay. He can stay." said Layla and walked in the garden and Noah followed her.

      "What are you doing? You know he came here with some planning." told Noah. "I know but I have a plan too so don't worry and trust me." explained Layla. Daniel came to Layla. "Madam i talked with Miss Julia but she said she is busy." said Daniel. "Now she is backing out. Prepare the cars! I will go to her office." ordered Layla and Daniel did accordingly.

      Fiora was sitting in a study when Mrs.Adrian entered in. "Where is Gace?" asked Mrs.Adrian. "He is out. He will come back after few days." said Fiora. "Where did you send him? Fiora whatever you are doing is not right. Where is my son?" asked Mrs.Adrian. "I am your daughter too." said Fiora frustratingly. "Oh come on! grow up. For how long you will cling to me like this? I told you thousand times don't call me your mother atleast when we are alone. I only have one son. Your mother is dead by her drug addiction." said Mrs.Adrian. "Don't call her that. She wasn't an addict. She was murdered." said Fiora furiously. "And do you have any proof? You should be thankful to us that we took you in and raised you. You have this luxurious life, leading a big organisation and ruling over the whole empire. This is all because of our mercy or you didn't deserve to be a maid of this house. Who knows with whom your mother was in affair and betrayed my brother in law." said Mrs.Adrian. "I was a daughter of my dad, Walton Gabe who was the leader of all this. His early death made you guys lucky to have all this to your self. I am an actual owner because i am his descendent. I didn't say anything all these years because Dad adopted me and raised me like his own daughter and i wanted to believe that i am a part of this family too but no matter how much i try, i will never be." said Fiora glaring into her eyes with anger. "You are speaking too much. I am sick of being your so called mother. If it isn't for Adrian, I have thrown you away a long time ago. I don't know why is he trusting you so much with buisness when he has his son. He will throw you away soon. Just wait and watch." threatened Mrs.Adrian. "You have a good imagination. keep going because it's not going to happen. I will rule over this empire and I will also kill that person who murdered my mother when i was a child." said Fiora. "Do you even know who did it?" asked Mrs.Adrian. "Maybe i do." said Fiora. Mrs.Adrian cleared her throat and left stomping her feet.

      Layla and Noah sat in the car which drove them to Julia's office. "I don't think they will let us in easily. Noah get all the guards ready. If they won't let us in, you can kill them." ordered Layla standing infront of company gate. Layla walked in with all her men behind her. "Madam do you have an appointment?"asked the gate keeper. Layla signaled Noah with her eyes. Bodyguards beat the gate keeper and Layla entered in. People and guards were coming constantly untill she arrived at the gate of Julia's office while Layla's guard were handling all the mess and soon it became a blood pool. Julia's assistant was standing at the entrance of the office. "You can't go in." said the assistant. "You are brave. Why don't you come work for me?" questioned Layla. "Miss Julia is busy right now. Please come later." said the assistant while she was trembling in fear. Layla moved little further and pointed a gun on the girl's forehead. "Can i now?" asked Layla and pushed her to the side but the girl took out her knife and tried stabbing Layla's back. Noah saw the girl and grabbed her from behind. Layla turned behind slowly and grabbed the girls hair. "You know what i hate most? people back stabbing me.....You should fight from the front." said Layla and shot her in head twice. Layla kicked the door open and entered. Julia stood up from her chair. "You are making a mistake. I have a power to take you down. You shouldn't make me your enemy." said Julia. Layla raised her left hand covered in blood spots. "It stinks. The smell of this blood stinks. You know why i didn't want to lead this buisness? It's because of this blood on my hand. I didn't want to become ruthless like you all but you left me no choice. Now i am like you, congrats." yelled Layla. "That's my girl! You didn't become a bad person but a brave person." said Julia. "What a motherly love!" said Layla. "I know you came here to know why i tried to kill Fiora." said Julia. "I don't want your reason. It's enough that you confessed. I will kill you now." threatened Layla. "Can you really kill me? your mother? you are not that strong my girl." said Julia challenging her. "Dad once said me that be friends with your enemy and enemy with your friend when needed. If i will not kill you today, you will try to take me down so i can't leave my enemy unharmed here. You should thank God that the bullet didn't shoot Fiora that day or i would've cut you in pieces by now." said Layla. "See that's the reason. She makes you weak. She is your weakness and you should get rid of them or you will lose your everything for them." told Julia. "Maybe that's why you left me. I was your weakness too." said Layla. "No that's not true." explained Julia. Layla moved forward to Julia and pointed her gun to her head. "People you love makes you stronger not weaker. You can't understand when you never loved anyone." said Layla. Julia took her gun out too and dropped it on the floor. "Shoot Layla." shouted Julia. Layla kept staring at Julia while tears were dropping down her cheeks. Layla closed her eyes and started shoting continuously in Julia's head without watching. Layla dropped her gun but she wasn't able to open her eyes. Noah moved infront of Layla and hugged her so she didn't have to watch Julia's body. "Let's go." said Noah. Layla walked out with Noah, sat in her car and left.

For days no one saw Layla coming out of her room. "Did she open the door?" questioned Noah to maid. "Not yet. She didn't eat anything too. She will get sick at this rate." said the maid. Noah tried knocking on the door but didn't get any response.

        Gace called Fiora. "Oh finally you are free to call me? Where were you?" questioned Fiora on the call. "It's a chaos here. Layla's being stubborn little kid and locked herself in the room." said Gace. "Why would she do that?" asked Fiora. "Did you heard about Julia's death?" asked Gace. "I did but well i didn't know she loved her that much." said Fiora. "No you don't know the inside story. No one is saying anything here but i heard from one maid that Layla killed her." said Gace. "What?!" asked Fiora in a shock and call hung up. "hello? hello?" said Gace on the phone.

      After an hour Fiora came to Layla's mansion. Noah met her on the gate. "Why are you here?" asked Noah. "I want to see Layla." said Fiora. "That's not possible. She is not meeting anyone not even showing her face to us even." told Noah. "Let me come inside and i will talk to her." said Fiora. "I am sorry but go." said Noah. Fiora was determined to meet Layla. She signaled her gurads to fight everyone coming in the way. Noah took out his gun and put it on Fiora's head and Fiora did same. "Why do you want to fight when you can let me in easily? I just have to see her for a moment then i will go." promised Fiora. Noah didn't have any choice so he let Fiora in.

      Fiora came infront of Layla's bedroom door and knocked. "Layla open the door. It's me Fiora." said Fiora but no one replied. Fiora put her hand on the bedroom door. "You remember the day we sneaked out from the home and went to the shop to buy some snacks which your father told you not to eat because it was bad for your health. We went there and found a dog. It was injured and you started crying loudly watching it but then the dog tried to attack you and bite you and i threw a brick at it and the dog ran away. This situation is similar to that one. Don't cry over people who you knew will bite you in future. Julia deserved it. She was never your mother. She wasn't there when you were suffering in pain, she wasn't there when you were taking your first step or going to school for the first time. She was just a buisness woman who tried to use you for her own purpose. Please Layla your tears are not that worthless to waste on people like her. You did the right thing and I am proud of you." said Fiora standing outside the door. Layla was hearing everything from inside and was crying then she stood up and opened the door. Fiora saw her and smiled. Layla hugged Fiora quickly. They both were crying.
