20 Alert, The Loom of the Fates, and Realms

Frigga POV:

On our way to the throne room I address Brynhildr saying, "Have all the Valkyrie, and warriors of Asgard battle ready and alert. This is a Ragnarok level threat Odin, and I will go handle by ourselves. Meaning that for the moment, only we could possibly have any sway or impact in the coming confrontation, yet all of you valiant and courageous warriors could at the very least make sure nothing happens to Asgard while we are out fighting, true?"

Brynhildr, just barely realizing something of significant importance is to happen soon; and that she would sadly only burden me by following, responds quickly. "I swear upon my life that Asgard will be protected, and its citizens will be safe from any external threat we can deal with before your return."

I smile at her, 'If only Odin could have listened to her oath, see this is the type of oath worth making. It is short, sweet, and with plenty of loopholes, to not needlessly waste your life, or anger someone else, that being me.' We had at some point reached the throne rooms' giant double doors and she opened them for me.

I entered and my gaze landed on Odin sitting on his throne, wearing his full armor, holding Gungnir, the Space Gem, and a few trinkets I believe he thinks he can sacrifice in the well. *Tired sigh* 'At least he tried.'

"Are you sufficiently prepared my king?" I voice, as I give him a very slight nod.

With a still pale face yet regaining some color and with a very slight smile he nods and speaks, "Yes, I am my queen, we can leave at any moment."

We both appear at the roots of Yggdrasil and search for the Norns. Urd of the past, Verdande of the present, and Skuld of the future.

When we finally arrive at their location, Urd is confused, Verdande stunned, and Skuld is surprised as clearly Those Who Sit Above in Shadow, have not seen any future, or past where we appear now; given they could not under any circumstance account for my new Lord, and thus have not shared this information with them through an oracle.

Odin, looking smug at their reactions, speaks first. "Confess to your wrongdoings and allow us to destroy the Loom of the Fates, and we will let you live. Oppose us, and you will die.

As this was happening, I was long done with the activation of spells that I had prepared beforehand to stop them from interfering with our time, and destinies, sealing the space around us to stop them from fleeing in any way, and limiting their powers.

After the concealing spell was finished, I activated all the other spells to reinforce both Odin and I and left an illusion of myself in place while Odin distracts them or kills them as I make my move to take care of The Loom of the Fates.

Urd spoke first, "The audacity! None have ever treated us like this boy! We have no crimes to confess to you, unlike yourself! How many times have you slaughtered the innocent, slept with those who were not your wife, and the list goes on, hmm?"

Odin continued, "Do not call me boy, you decrepit hag! We know everything! How you cannot see the future or the past but are shown it by Those Who Sit Above in Shadow! How you manipulate me and my pantheon, to cause an infinite cycle of Ragnarok to feed Those Who Sit Above in Shadow and receive more power from them!

Sadly, for you, the first Ragnarok has not even happened yet, and you are all weak. Even alone I can end you all, but with my queen here you will either submit or die!"

Extremely shocked at Odin being able to name their Lords, the Norns started shivering, and Verdande rushed to the Loom with her scissors as she threatened. "Stay back son of Bor, for we may be weak, yet we still control the Loom, and therefore your fates are in our hands." She finished menacingly.

Sadly, for her, I had already separated the Loom of the Fates from every pantheon it was connected to. However, I left a tangible illusion of the original Loom, to give them a false sense of safety.

Odin proceeded to laugh boisterously, as he could not have cared less for their threats. I have to admit, although in front of Lord Spectre he is less than an ant, but in the universe very few can match my husband in strength, and he is still far from his prime.

Odin, still laughing responded. "My wife is the mightiest member of our pantheon, and also the best magician in the recently redefined nine realms; after learning of those sitting bastards, and receiving the blessing of not one, but two Abstract Lords, both of End related concepts, what do you think the first act she did upon finding you all and the Loom of the Fates was? After all it is not your power now, is it?" He finished with a grin.

Growing paler by the second, Verdande proceeded to look for Frigga's thread of fate, and tried to cut it with her scissor, but nothing happened. She then did the same to Odin's thread, and again nothing happened. All of the Norns were visibly shaken, and pale as Verdande kept trying and failing to cut the apparently indestructible threads.

After growing tired of this I removed the illusions and destroyed the Loom. Needless to say, they were extremely overjoyed, and then horrified when neither Odin nor I died.

Verdande and Urd screamed in unison, "WHAT DID YOU DO?!"

...

-Utgard, base of operations of Those Who Sit Above in Shadow-

"WHAT DID YOU DO?!?!?!" screamed multiple echoing voices from an oval table in front of me.

"I destroyed your hold over my universe, world, kingdom, and above all MY FAMILY!"

One of them screamed at me, "You wretched lass, know not who you mess with! Restore our connection to our Loom of the Fates and we shall spare your pitiful life!"

Smirking deeply, I respond, "No, actually I do not believe I will!"

Another furious one asks, "And why not?!"

"For one very simple reason, using the words of my husband I AM MIGHTIER THAN YOU ALL!" and I begin to exert my true undisguised pressure upon them, shocking them still.

"Do you honestly think sticking to the shadows, with glowing eyes and weirdly shaped outlines will give you an advantage over me? I was blessed by Spectre Ouroboros and Lady Death herself, both of which are multiversal plus level beings. Not to mention my son Loki managed to scare you all off before, and he was then so far weaker than the current me, he might as well have been the cutest most lovable ant in existence.

No, the real question here is, now that I am here, what is stopping me from erasing all of you, from existence?"

At that their shadows and outlines visibly shook, and somehow turned greyer? Yes greyer, also it seemed like they all wanted to run, yet I had already sealed this space. Truly, all energy I could ever want or need for magic can be accessed through the Mirror Dimension.

Thinking of how to take care of them, an idea springs into my mind, and I immediately start making preparations for it.

"I now know what I must do. Do not move from here, though not like you could anyways."

After that I open a portal to the Realm of the Dead to seek an audience with my daughter's guardian, Lady Death.
