124 Chapter 41 - Malia (1)

Winter in Chicago is pretty. Extremely cold, but pretty. White flakes gently fall from the sky outside my bedroom window. I'm in a skyscraper that overlooks the Chicago River. This two-bedroom apartment has been home for almost a year now. Although I have a feeling that's going to change again pretty soon. 

I have no desire to get out of bed today. It's nothing new, though. Since that hellish day in New York years ago, oftentimes, I find myself wanting to just lay and do nothing, and feeling miserable whenever I'm idle. I've been better the past couple of years since I started dancing again. It's not the same as before, but it has helped me tremendously in making me feel like myself again.
