Frankly, I don't give a shit if the dickhead gets caught. And neither do I care if Malia and I get caught sneaking inside someone else's house. I can get us away from pretty much anything. Even murder if she commits one tonight. I'd have it cleaned and keep her safe. It would be a challenge, but I haven't been caught yet.

I'm slightly worried about her though. This will hurt her.

How the fuck did I get myself into this?

We enter the house and stop in the living room. The open floor plan gives me enough insight into the bachelor layout–the living area is downstairs while the bedrooms are on the second floor. It's dark save for one lamp near the kitchen. At first, we don't hear anything. Glancing down at her, I see the storm in her eyes. She's angry even though she tries not to show any emotion, her shoulders and back looking tense and tight.
