Spirit and Plant

Standing face-to-face, Chiaki fought back against her possible aggressor, and by revealing the ability to wield the forbidden technique of supremacy, she now prepares for a wild battle.

The ear-hurting chimes coming from vibrations disappeared, and the heavy gust of wind slowed down as Chiaki's blossom pink, piercing eyes glared at her enemy.

"What? Is someone in need of picking the right words? Well, too bad, Hywel. Our conversation here is over. I'll prove to you that you're the one who made a mistake at encountering me."

White, satisfying, and flowing aura gradually weaved around Chiaki's arms as gentle winds covered the room. "But let me give you an answer. Never regret anything that made you smile. That's why I didn't answer your question. Because my friends are the priority here."

Chiaki stepped forward and bent her torso, "Because protecting them, is what I care about the most." The illuminating, white light consumed Chiaki's body. She evaporated in a flash, arising before Hywel in an instant.

With an onward and powerful kick, her foot collapsed with Hywel's body, spreading a misunderstandable, painful shock through it.

The squeeze of his stomach forced pressure into his head and caused him to cough out saliva. "T-This pressure... from a single strike. How does she possess such extraordinary strength?" It splashed on the floor while feeling his own body getting bent inward. He got propelled backward through the sturdy walls and outside into the forest.

Balling through the forest road, bouncing and beating his head against the hard floor, Hywel lost balance and slipped on the slippery mud backward, smashing the back of his head against a fallen tree trunk.

She [Chiaki] walked outside onto the dirt path and halted, "I hope you're ready for a beat down. Cause I've got plenty of that to show."

Hywel struggled to breathe, "The force behind her kick... It felt like my bones would shatter any second. It felt as if I had a pounding heart attack, ready for my heart to explode into thousands of bloody bits. Was she always this strong?"

He gradually regained his breath and stamina and stood up, "If this woman sails the sea with those puny, little pirates... then the Beast Emperor won't remain as the leader of our generation. I need to stop her and forget about the compensation. If she escapes the prison, she might be the first person to defeat the lords and the emperors. I can't let her get the better of us."

He inhaled and exhaled, "That's why... I'll beat her and finally invoke the all mighty monarch Yerachmiel. It's a mission for a good purpose, so that our people don't need to suffer any longer!"

Vines enveloped Hywel's arm and started to stagger through his fingers. "Yasuda! It's time to make your fate a reality! A monster like you doesn't have the rights to exist and jeopardize the world!" He whipped his arm forward over his head and caused the vines to extend abruptly and speed in Chiaki's direction.

They slithered their way through the air like living snakes and hurriedly wrapped around Chiaki's torso, squeezing her arms and torso together. "Pain is the only opportunity you pirates deserve!" he pulled his arm back, bringing Chiaki closer to him.

He yanked his other arm behind and used the vines to envelop his fist. Once at a perfect distance, he hauled his fist forward, readying to punch Chiaki unrestrainedly.

Her eyes shimmered, raying through the day as she stomped the ground, pulled back her body with all her might, and chucked him in the air, forcing the vines to unwrap her body.

Thrown through the air, Hywel maneuvered his body through it to land safely and saw Chiaki flip onto the ground with one foot. She used her second to balance, rotate around and punch the air with her left fist.

A fast wind projectile rushed forward, aiming to crash into Hywel's stomach. However, once the wind neared him, the vines connecting his body formed a hole in his midsection for the blast to speed through and strike the wall behind him.

Momentarily, she questioned but came to a conclusion, "An elemental ability? But how? I managed to strike him earlier without any effort." She tensed her eyes, seeing his body puzzle back together as a white aura enchanted her arms, covering her skin.

"Do you think covering your arms with your aura will help you? I'll show you just how wrong you are." Hywel burst into a high-speed sprint and sped toward her. She prepared a fighting stance and quickly readied to reflect Hywel's attack.

He swept his right arm, summoning vines from the earth that wrapped around Chiaki's ankles and stabilized her on the spot. Surprised that she couldn't move, she noticed Hywel jumping in the air above her, following him like an eagle and its prey.

Hywel tugged his arm back and extended his finger vines far behind him. They wavered through the air, "Constrict!" and with a downward swing, stretched and dove toward Chiaki's immobilized physique.

Her freed arm became illuminated, swinging it above her head and summoning a white bubble of intensity to protect her, vaporizing the vines around her ankles, bouncing away the ones Hywel formed, causing him to quickly shift his body and land on the ground behind her.

Chiaki's bubble disappeared. However, Hywel used that opportunity to dash behind Chiaki and kick her in the back. It caused her to tumble forward, preparing to get impaled by the sharp vines growing ahead of her.

Hywel grinned, stretching his arms forth and shooting out vines from his fingers that wrapped around Chiaki's forearms and stopped her from getting impaled only a few inches away.

"Do you think I'm done with you? No, no, not a chance! Your death shouldn't be instant. I need you to suffer a little longer! Time for take off!" he yanked his arms back and lifted Chiaki high in the sky.

He started spinning in one place, building up momentum and speed, swinging Chiaki above him like a cyclone, "Scorpion..." he gained enough speed and finally stopped spinning, pivoting her into the distance and crushing her against a tree full throttle.

It caused some of the bones in her back to shatter, making her cough and shriek in pain. The vines released her, letting her plunge toward the ground and land on her shoulder, almost twisting it in the process.

The vines shortened as Hywel grinned menacingly, "Yasuda... Accept your fate and perish with the entire world hating you. It's your only option to be free from inequality. Forget about your friends and sail into the afterlife. Because, no matter how much you fight for survival, you'll meet the same destiny over and over again until you're an empty vessel!"

Chiaki's helped herself stand up, using her forearms as support, and finally succeeded, "You can forget it, old man!"
