A Happy Ending.

Kaiser did not respond, instead he embraced her closer and kissed her on the forehead. Little Jane's anxieties and dark thoughts are so palpable he can almost smell them.

"You're a year younger than me, yet you seem and behave much older. While I behave like a kid and seem like a fool," Jane laughed, feeling safe in Kaiser's embrace.

Jane will soon be 20 years old. She may be little in stature, but she makes up for it with an almost impossibly large chest and a full, plump bottom. Her physique may have seemed mature, but her face was obviously much younger.

She is almost a perfect 10 on the cuteness scale, with wavy brown hair, ocean blue eyes, and Kaiser's favorite; her lovely freckles on her nose.

"How much do you weigh, Jen?" Kaiser inquired, a question he had been pondering for quite some time.

Jenny's adorable little nose wrinkled up in embarrassment as she said, "Why? Do I look fatty to you?"

"In... certain departments? Yes!" Kaiser nodded his head, admiring her ample bust.

Seeing Kaiser's gaze, Jane crossed her arms over her chest, which unfortunately drew even more attention to her breasts. "Heeyyyy!!!"

Kaiser's cuteness meter reached a critical level, "Awwww~" He started to rub his cheeks on her face, finding his girlfriend very adorable.

"Guess who called me yesterday?"

Kaiser glanced at her and, noticing the playful grin, said, "You get a call from a major star or something?"

The event, hosted by Jane, was witnessed by almost everyone with television or the internet. Therefore, it is very plausible that Jane, due to her attractive looks, would garner some male attention.

Jane's arrogant grin cracked just a little as she made a theatric gesture, raised both arms, and exclaimed, "TONY STARK!!"

After catching his impassive gaze, Jane was ready to pout but restrained herself.

"No, really... Look!" Jane got out her cell phone and displayed her recent call log and text messages.

Kaiser ignored the texts but kept the contact's number in his head.

'Dian, send all kinds of viruses and spam to this number. Better send the number also to Fisk; he will know what to do.' Kaiser thought.

"What? Still don't believe me?" The smug look on Jane's face vanished. She enjoyed the adorable and smug look on her boyfriend's face when he was jealous. Unfortunately, Kaiser didn't show any reaction.

Kaiser breathed his hot breath into Jane's ears, seductively murmuring, "Naughty kitten wanting punishment~"

The chill ran through Jane's whole body; her nipples nearly stiffened, and she couldn't think straight for a split second.

Regaining her composure, she hid her face. In Kaiser's strong arms, not wanting to see her boyfriend, see her pout.

"Fufufu… Exactly what is he after?" Kaiser let out a hearty chuckle.

"He was looking for a date." Jane's voice was muffed, she felt too embarrassed to look at Kaiser directly.

Kaiser had a sly thought and lifted his arm, *Pat* Jane instantly straightened her back, revealing her flushed cheeks.

Kaiser saw his opportunity and jumped on her, pinning her between his arms, which disabled her hands, and his legs, which prevented her from moving.

Kaiser was careful not to injure her, but his delicate but rough approach caused Jane to turn away and start hyperventilating.

"You wanted your man to be jealous, didn't you?"

She tried to suppress a gasp when Kaiser kissed her neck, but the lust in his voice was too much for her pouty lips.

Hearing her moan aroused Kaiser's appetite. Her chin was directed toward him as he grabbed her wrists and pulled them over her head.

"You… Are… Beautiful... Jane!"

Her blue eyes welled up with tears, her cheeks flushed a healthy pink, and her full, kissable lips parted to say, "take me."

That was all Kaiser needed to hear, but he held back from swooping in just yet. With gentle strokes to her cheeks, he let go of her and said, "Said it louder. And with all your heart."

At first, Jane was a bit bewildered, and she even felt like she had been rejected when she sensed Kaiser releasing her. She closed her eyes and took a big breath after a sudden realization.

She opened them and looked at him with assurance, "I know... you have others."

Kaiser grinned a little; he had never hidden his sexual life from her, and while he had never told her what he did behind her back, he was certain that a girl as perceptive as her wouldn't be fooled for long.

"You are smart, rich, strong, and very handsome. When I learned of your wealth and the smell of perfumes which was different from your usual lilac scent, I knew that I wasn't the only one you love."

Jane felt tears coming, and her voice cracked as she said, "I-I was indeed aware but always put such ideas back in the back of my mind."

Kaise dried her tears, but he didn't console her; she was a tough young lady who didn't need sympathy from him or anybody else.

"But... I just can't leave you. Given the depth of your affection for me, the tenderness with how you've dealt me, the strength with which you've protected me, and the generosity with which you've covered the cost of my education on the backs of an unknown donor, it's hard to find enough words to express my gratitude..."

Kaiser hadn't spoken a word or attempted to interrupt her while she's been confessing; instead, he bent down and planted a soft kiss on her trembling lips.

"I never intended to keep it a secret from you. Yes, behind your back, I did mess around..."

Even though Jane knew, she still felt a stab in her heart, and the tears just kept coming.

"But you are mistaken in one thing... you were the only one I loved."

Jane was shocked; she wanted to reassure him that everything was OK and that she had the strength to accept reality. Kaiser's finger on her lips prevented her from speaking, though.

"Shh… I'm telling the truth. A special place in my heart has always been reserved for you... But, as a selfish and polyamorous man, I can't see you being the only one."

Jane, grabbing his hand on her cheek, said, "I am willing to give myself to you… All I ask is not forget me… and make me yours completely."

Kaiser locked his eyes with her and swore, "I swear in the name of Gilgamesh. As long as you never betray me, I will never leave your side, and as long as you continue to love me, I will never stop loving you. I am a man of my word!"

Hearing that she was his one and only love made Jane's cheeks light up, and her tummy do flips.

Suddenly, she felt a weight lift from her chest, as if she were released from the jail that had been keeping her heart captive.

"How many?" Jane inquired out of curiosity, even though she knew it was a stupid one. However, her insatiable intellectual curiosity eventually overwhelmed her.

"Just two, while the other one, just peck and kisses."

"Then what of the women you called your servant?" Jane asked.

Kaiser burst out laughing "Haha… Yes. While she was my servant, she had her own goals and wanted me as her consort."

Seeing the confusing expression on Jane's face, he continued, "There is another part of the world that is hidden from the rest of the world."

"Like mutants?" Suddenly, Jane questioned.

Kaiser gave her a doubtful glance; the mutant news is well covered up, and the fact of their existence is known only to the highest levels of authority.

Kaiser pushed his skepticism aside; he wouldn't waste "essential" time by arguing with Jane.

Jane noticed the fire and hunger in Kaiser's eyes, and without saying a word, she leaned in and thrust her tongue violently between his lips.

Jeezz... Just took a small break (College) and already had so many negative reviews, it's only been like 20 chapters, yet the reader already knows everything about the novel and formed their opinions.

Edgy MC? I am not sure what caused you to think that. So, any form of grief, or villainous, is edgy? (Just curious)
