1 Brother Loves You Too

The human body is very mysterious as it holds limitless potential. No one can say that a weakling will stay a weakling forever as there might be a time when he will soar high and reign over others.

Over the passage of time humans began to discover our bodies potential and explored the ways to utilize this potential.

As of now the humans have not fully understood how are bodies worked especially our brains which is the most complex part of our body.

In the mystical Yulan Continent, monsters roam the land and demons reside on the mountains. Humans struggle to survive against the combined threat of the monsters and demons.

Monsters are creatures who had lived thousands of years and the descendants of the ancient beasts who ones rule over the continent.

While demons are humanoid creatures who's origin is unknown, they are known to feed on both humans and monsters but they are more biased towards humans.

At the Star City's Hugrain Academy, one of the city's academy which specializes on teaching students how to become a warrior to defend against demons and monsters.

Warriors are the ones who fight monsters and demons, they have unimaginable strength and have boundless power.

They are also called cultivators which are divided into different levels based on their strengths.

In one of the dormitory of the academy a young boy and girl lived together in a small room.

The young boy was crafting a weapon, his hands are very nimble and his every movement are very smooth. His hands move so fast that afterimages can be seen. The weapon on his hand is starting to take shape, it was a small dagger which has a length of about 30-40 centimeters. It was black in color and was very sharp.

The young girl was obviously talking to the young boy but was only ignored as the boy was fully immersed on crafting.

"Brother why did you chose to hide the result of your examination ? You could have easily entered the academy and become an elite student instead of working at the disciplinary committee."the young girl was still talking to the young boy who was still not paying any attention to her.

The young boy had already finished crafting and looked at the young girl in front of him.

The young girl had an angelic like beauty and her aquamarine eyes paired with her smile can cause chaos among men. Although she hasn't matured yet her unique beauty is still something that men sought after.

"Asuna as I told you before it was not a big deal. And I also need to do this to remain hidden as to not attract too much attention. All that matters to me is that you will become a top students in this academy and you're safe."he consoled the young girl named Asuna because he knows what crazy things this girl will do if he did not clarify things with her.

He and Asuna are both orphans and the two of them are not related to each other, but because the two of them have been together for so long and had struggled together their relationship is similar to that brother and sister.

When Asuna heard what the young boy said he stopped on blabbering even though she was reluctant.

"But brother isn't okay to pass the exam while having a perfect score? A lot of students got the perfect score you know." Asuna just didn't know when to stop.

As a matter of fact seven students achieved a perfect score on the examination and the seven of them had received special treatment from the academy and will be allotted a lot of resources for their cultivation.

But as an exchange, when they graduate in the academy they will have to work as a teacher for 10 years.

Ten years is already a long time, many things can happen during this years. A river flowing from the west can change and flow to the east. A desert can become a sea, a mountain can become a plain.

No one is willing to spend their years in teaching but to receive the resources they needed they have to do some sacrifices.

Kirito was only 15 years old this year but among his peers he is more mature and thinks about things before deciding to take action.

He looked at Asuna's worried face and warmth surge within his heart he safely placed the dagger on the table as he stood up and hugged the talkative girl.

Asuna was shocked but after several seconds burrowed her head into Kirito's chest. Her face was flushed red and her heart beats very fast.

During those years of being together with Kirito, she had developed special feelings with him that is irreplaceable. She will always feel that world is colorful whenever Kirito is with her and she felt safe just standing beside him.

These feelings developed slowly but surely, until it was deeply engraved into her heart. Although their relationship on the outside is brothers and sisters she knows that deep within her heart she wants to be more than a sister.

Kirito was oblivious to Asuna was thinking as the most important person in his life have always been her so everything he did was to ensure Asuna's safety and happiness.

He moved his mouth near Asuna's left ear and said softly to her.

"Little Asuna don't worry about big brother you know I'm strong right." Asuna just nodded obediently like a little girl should be.

"Then you don't have to worry about me, big brother will be alright."

He assured her so that she will stop on worrying about him and focus her attention on training.

The two of them came here to study and train to become a warrior for two reasons.

Firstly, they want to have power and money. If they become a warrior they will be able to hunt monsters that they can sell to earn money. And if they become a warrior there will be lesser danger and Asuna will become much safer.

Second is that Kirito received a system in which he thinks is godly. Because after receiving this system he felt that there is something inside of him that is lying dormant and is waiting to be awaken. It is also because of the system that he was able to learn crafting very fast.

With this two reasons to had taken a gamble and spent their hard earned money to enroll in this academy.

During the examination Kirito find out that Asuna has a natural talent to become a warrior, if he hadn't told her to held back she will also probably achieve a perfect score.

Meanwhile when he was taking the examination even when he held back he still got a perfect score so he decided to not do anything during the exam which resulted on his results being extremely low.

The academy has a policy that if a student did not manage to pass the requirements they can chose to stay and work under the disciplinary committee or leave the academy.

Obviously, Kirito has chosen the latter and was assigned at the repairing section of the disciplinary committee.

Today was the first day of school and Asuna just found out about it which made her extremely mad at her brother. But even though she's mad he can't stay mad at him forever.

"Let's go Asuna you don't want to get late, right?" Kirito was already at the door when Asuna came back to her senses.

Her face still had a slight redness and she looked at Kirito while she stuck her tongue out and said.

"Stupid Brother"

And she run away toward school.

Kirito felt helpless so he can only closed the door and hurriedly run after her. When he caught up with her her face had already returned to normal.

"What was that for?" he can't help but ask.

But Asuna just ignored him and continued to walk forward.

On their way they saw a lot students was also heading towards to the academy, while they we're walking a lot of attention was caught by Asuna especially some young boys who looked at her lustfully.

A group of three young boys walked beside them and talked with Asuna.

"Hi miss, I have been in this academy for one year and I haven't seen you once I guess you're a new student here?" a young boy who was wearing a green robe talked to Asuna not paying attention to Kirito.

Asuna was very warm and childish in front of Kirito but when put in front of others she was very cold and indifferent.

"Yes", she didn't bother answering the young man and she did not even spared a single glanced at him.

The young boy was not angered by her attitude instead he continued to smile and spoke like a righteous person.

"Since this is little sister's first time in the academy let me give you a special tour to the academy and you will surely not regret it." as he speak the two young men behind him grind and also spoke.

"Right, right big brother Dan here is very strong"

"Little sister you don't have anything to worry, big brother Dan is a good person"

The two of them started praising the green robed young boy named Dan. Apparently they are what we call as bootlickers.

Kirito and Asuna continued to walk as if the three of them did not even exist.

Dan was a little taken a back, this was his first time that someone ignored them. Every time they talk to someone they always chose those girls who had newly entered the academy.

First they will act as a very righteous person and when the girl was fooled by them they will immediately take advantage of them as the academy had never paid any attention to this kind of trivial matters.

Dan had already victimized 5 young girls who was unable to continue studying here at the academy and had chosen to leave and avoid Dan.

He was an extremely viscous person and he will do anything just to get what he wanted. When was walking gloomily earlier he spotted this angel and his heard was instantly captured and had a strong desire to make her his.

So he immediately take action and did the same way as how he would do to other girls but he did not expect that this girl will not only be cold to him but will also ignore him.

Although at first he was not angry but now he can't help but be extremely furious so he grabbed her wrist and forcefully dragged her.

AHH

Asuna suddenly screamed because of the pain cause by Dan's grip. Beside her, Kirito's eyes turned blue to pitch black and his body released a very strong demonic aura.

Dan was startled as he looked at Kirito, he had saw this boy was walking shoulder by shoulder by this beauty so he only ignored him as he thought that he will be only a weakling.

But just earlier when Kirito released his demonic aura, he felt that death was very near to him so he unconsciously let go of Asuna's wrist.

Kirito immediately retracted his aura and looked at Asuna's wrist which has bruises. His anger hit the limit, although he was a very cool headed person but once someone hurt or even have the attention of hurting Asuna, that person will undoubtedly face extreme consequences.

He was only ignoring Dan because it will be appropriate to beat someone up by just a having a glib tongue. But when he forcefully dragged Asuna and cause some bruises to her wrist this gave Kirito enough reason to directly kill him.

If we put it differently Asuna is the trigger that is the only one that can arouse Kirito's feelings.

Dan had already calmed down and he had returned to his usual self. He looked and Asuna and then pointed at Kirito.

"Do you want to die? Don't you know who I a .." but before he could even finish taking his vision stated to get dark as he saw that Kirito was already in front of him.

The two young boy was dumbfounded of what they saw, they clearly know how powerful Dan is as he was on top in his class. He was revered as the school's tyrant when place on the first and second year students. He was very strong and even if he lost sometimes it was not as ridiculous as this.

One punch and he was out

All it took was one punch from this very thin boy and he passed out. He did not even have the time to finish speaking much less react to that attack.

They we're still processing what happened but when they saw that Kirito was walking towards them they unconsciously took a two step back.

Kirito's face has no emotion but from his aura you could tell that he was extremely furious.

Luckily there was no one around as they had already wet their pants.

Kirito still maintained his facial expression while he speak calmly to the two.

"Take him away and never let me see his face again or else the three of you will sleep forever" his words sent a chill to the two young boys' bones as a cold sweat run down from their faces but they did not wash it away as they we're afraid to move in front of Kirito.

After finishing his threat, he returned to Asuna who was standing nearby while holding her bruised wrist.

He put his arm on top of Asuna's bruised wrist and started to enchant some magic incantations.

Heal!

A white glow appeared on his hands as it was transferred to Asuna's wrist. The bruises on her wrist started to heal and her skin started to return to normal. It only took a minute and her bruises we're fully healed.

He then smiled and patted Asuna's head and said.

"Let's go"

Asuna's face was full of smiles as he held Kiritos's arm and together they walked towards the academy.

Left in dismay was the two young boys and the unconscious Dan. The two young boys clearly saw Kirito used magic to heal Asuna's bruises and the two of them unitedly thought that they f*cked hard this time.

Halfway to the academy Asuna suddenly stopped.

Kirito also stopped and look at Asuna.

"Brother why did you do that?" Asuna asked.

"To protect you" Kirito smiled at her.

"But aren't you afraid that they might come back and cause you trouble?"

"No matter how much trouble they will cause to me as long as they hurt or even dare to touch you. Death is their only path." he spoke calmly but the ruthlessness in his eyes can be seen.

Asuna just smiled and continued to walk forward, when he passed by Kirito she whispered softly.

"I love you brother."

Kirito felt warmth in his heart and he patted Asuna's head and he also said.

"Brother loves you too."
