Lóng Wei found desperation in Li Hua's eyes to know if anyone was alive in that deadly assassination. His heart ached to see the tears on the edges of her eyes. He lifted his hands, and his fingers wiped those tears.

"No. Unfortunately, they all are dead," Lóng Wei finally replied. 

Li Hua lowered her head, but Lóng Wei held her chin, forcing her to meet his gaze. "Don't let the tears fall from your eyes. Be strong," Lóng Wei told her. Li Hua gulped the lump which had formed in her throat and did not break into tears. 

"What about Feng Lao?" Li Hua asked. 

Lóng Wei got confused when he heard that name. "Who is he?" Unaware of the name, he waited for her answer.
