In the pirate's ship, cages of prisoners. My soul wandered and devour the soul of a young man.
"Hey, are you listening?" the little girl said.
I opened my eyes seeing her placing her palm with my forehead. I wanted to disagree but my mind says that this is comfortable. The heat of her hands was warm, very warm.
"You are cold, I, Countess Jeanne, let me give you a hug!" she said.
She embraced me and the warmth that I feel is unnatural yet comforting. But, I need to continue my purpose, things like these are what a simple man wants.
I wanted to sleep but I needed to burn the ship fast. I snapped and stood. I picked a little deformed metal and opened the gate of the cell.
Opening a cell using a little strand of metal is easy because I was a known jailbreaker back then.
The prisoners rushed to go out stomping the pirate guard and making them faint. I took the scimitar in one of the fainted pirates. It was a little scimitar with the size half of my body.
"Jacob, wait for me!" Jeanne insisted on coming with me.
"The Jacob you knew was dead!" I sulk at her and then headed to the captain's chamber to confirm his dead body. But Jeanne followed me like sticky glue.
Somehow I needed to protect this girl...
"Wait in this chamber and lock it!" I said with an angry voice.
"But... there is a corpse..." She trembled as her legs weakened.
I kicked her and locked her up in the chamber and decided to rise above the navigation room. The melodies of the mobs sang the lyrics of deaths awaiting them with a tribute of their own blood.
"Help!!! There is a child... killing everyone!!!" a mob screamed. I slit his throat to make his voice die.
My scimitar is bloodied and I encountered no magic yet. I continued to clear my path till I saw the sky. There I saw that we already boarded and the guards of the royal empire have infiltrated the ship. I rushed to jump out of the sea but a magic missile explodes disrupting my chance to escape.
He draws his sword and throws his staff. He is in the middle stage of life and has a fierce look. Even with a body of a thirteen-year-old, there's nothing that can defeat me.
I charged forward making him step backward. He raises his sword and dropped it with strength. I dodged it and slashed his abdomen. I sensed something weird so I stepped backward.
"Kuh... As expected for a man with a kill count of a million!" he said.
That number reminds me of the ruined nation whose king didn't heed my request.
"Speak what you know!" I said.
He sat down and healed his wounds. His audacity impressed me.
"I am the sage of the north, Clause-"
"I am the lord and master of Oblivion and Chaos, Aurelius ." I interrupted him.
"I am the one who guarded your soul for ages because I sensed the potential destruction you possess." He stood up and he acted like a failed man.
"I need to escape, you have something that can be used for escaping?" I said.
"Oh! Yes!" he quickly changed his mood to happiness.
