12 Despair

[POV School Halls]

"Junko Enoshima we need to confirm some details with you this concerns the safety of thousands of people so you need to answer honestly."

"Of course I will but let's try to make it quick I have a photoshoot today, and I'd hate to waste my time on menial work that I could've easily finished in class."

"Of course it won't take no more than a few minutes."

"Did you see who caused these boys to enter this state?"

"No, I did not though the figure was acting friendly with Hamada it might be something for you to check out."

"That's good to know, could you describe the figure?"

"Oh it was this robed ghost it was kind of weird maybe we imagined it but like I said it talked pretty happily with Hamada."

"I think we've gathered enough information it seems he struck again, Thank you Junko Enoshima you and your sister may go back to your normal clases."

The sister duo promptly left the two bounty hunters without any hesitation, while the principal and hunters looked at Hamada.

"We plan on taking him to the meeting spot, we will probably get a nice bonus since he probably has some information on Ghostface from what was said hes more than likely in cahoots with the killer."

"Go ahead gentlemen, if it helps you find the criminal scum that is plaguing our area do whatever you need to."

Both the male and female hunters began to smile as they looked at the teen down below after being put in such a state had a scowl.

Meanwhile already far away from the crime scene the two sisters were walking side by side to their next class.

"I can't seem to figure out why you spared that loser, even if he is a killer hes spreading fear not despair like you want."

"Of course you can't, your simply too stupid. But don't worry I'll explain why."

"I'm sure you felt that aura thing he had, I still can't seem to figure out how it works but it seems he can willingly activate it, and it seems to work on most people it appears you were an exception. His aura invoked fear and sweet despair, that is why I lied he can give me exactly what I want absolute despair."

"I finally felt that feeling if absolute hopelessness, it was just as euphoric as I thought it would be, it was simply amazing I want to feel that feeling once more. Meaning we need him around for now at least aswell as continue with our plan, all this hope is starting to get on my nerves."

"Your right sister I am such a idiot, I should've known that."

"Try not to forget it this time, Oh and keep an eye on Jared when you can he is hiding some things I know it, I'm sure hes related to ghostface judging by what I saw. But for now let us make some further preparations for the event."

[POV Jared Dracul]

"Hello students classes will be over as of right now, it seems that ghostface has struck our school directly as of right now three students are in a comatose of some kind and are showing some signs of increasing without stopping. Ghostface may be within our student body as of right now, everyone is to leave the premise. All after school activities such as sports and clubs shall be cancelled for the foreseeable future to ensure your safety."

I watched as everyone began to enter into a panicking state except three the other thirty began panicking or even expressed their worries aswell suprise, and some seem to have seeds of despair taking root within their psyche.

"T.this can not be happening, I don't wanna die."

"Fuck, this shit I am not letting some pussy in a mask killing me."

A few student's broke down in tears, some reactions were minor others significant all they had in common they had some reaction to a degree. They all were led to believe that the killer mainly killed students from here now, that's five deaths from this school alone and three witnesses to the most recent deaths.

'All of these morons are worrying far too much, if I wanted to kill all of you I would've just used some explosives no bomb threats no warning I would blow you all up. Everyone wants to believe it's just them or that they could be killed next, if I was some other killer that could be the case well I might kill a few of them if it would throw some heat off of me.'

I began to walk out of the room while everyone rushed out the doors ignoring whatever the teacher was trying to say it was far to loud with the sobbing and such, it was annoying.

As I walked through the halls I looked around for anyone spying on me.

'Who knows what those three said they may have said that they were looking for me and one of then did find me and yelled it out and then a ghost appeared before them and I disapeared. I believe that would be extremely suspicious if they said that and the hunters would then be looking for me and possibly many others.'

Yet all I saw was Junko and the one girl who claimed to be her sister walking towards me. I immediately went into the crowd to try to disapear as soon as I made it outside. But they calmly walked by the stampede of students.

'Damn it this isn't going to work they will surely see where I exit if they are observing every student who breaks away and go their respective directions. Hopefully I'm fast enough, I could maybe break away if had my equipment but then the hunters and such would immediately hunt me down if they were to see me, plus its broad daylight I wouldn't be able to be to stealthy.'

'It appears I may be questioned if I were to be caught and after that junkos may be able to see through my lies. She always seemed to be able to analyze things to a scary degree, I've heard her explanations aswell, she also seems highly observant even more so than I this may be a problem.'

I continued to go with the flow until the crowd started to break apart I tried to sneakily go to the right I looked over to see if they spotted me, the black haired one was already rushing my position.

Without any thoughts or hesitation I began running while I searched for potential shadows to hide within, yet it seemed their was none. I didn't dare to look behind myself I was sure with how fast that girl was running I'd be caught easily if I made one mistake.

Then I felt the air change noticeably and at the corner of my eye I could see a bit of black.

I decided to do a cartwheel forward continuing my forward path for a few seconds and then launch myself with my two hands over a nearby wall. But as soon as I landed I felt a tight grasp over my right arm.

I slowly reared my head and I saw a pale freckled face with extremely light blue eyes that seemed to be almost ashen, with a near emotionless face.

I began to think about drawing my knife to stab her in the thigh and rip my knife back out and try to escape her while she either stops her bleeding or buy myself time to escape in the event she ignores it.

"Don't even think about escaping my amazing sister said she wanted to talk to you, so you better come with me."

'My best bet is not causing more of a commotion than I already did, if I were to stab her if they didn't already sell me out then they would surely after this. Since the hunters aren't on my ass I can assume they didn't say anything they may have thrown Hamada under the bus since he didn't go to class with the rest of us.'

'So I should go with them and if push comes to shove maybe I can lie my way out, maybe innocence will help me out aswell.'

"Fine I'll have a chat with your sister Junko if you want me to so badly."

She let up slightly and I could finally fully stand up but then I noticed the feint metallic luster in her hand it was an ice pick.

'So it appears I am now a hostage or at least its further insurance I don't escape, it's definitely best if I go with her for now.'

And so we went back over the wall and started to walk to alleyway full of shadows that was so close to where we were, and we stood their for a few minutes before a big breasted pale skin, ashen blue eyes, and strawberry blonde hair stood before us.

"Good work Muroko, you might not be as useless as I initially thought."

"Now Jared, I've got some questions for you and I expect you to answer me honestly."

"Of course I have nothing to hide, I'll be transparent as glass."

I spoke out with fake innocence, that would deceive almost everyone.

"Cut the shit Jared I know you've got plenty of secrets, especially how you've killed all of those people."

My expressions near instantly changed taking one serious face as my eyes no longer had a gleam to then they began to take a less energetic look, closely resembling the blood I had shed as of late.

'I'm still going to try to lie she clearly saw through my ability innocence I should've known better that it wouldn't work on someone like me and her. Hopefully weaver of lies works, or maybe I shouldn't lie. It may even reveal I'm a good liar which she could warn the hunters and such, I definitely need to be careful about what I say though.'

"Alright you've got me, I honestly didn't want you to find out but it seems you know."
