19 Chapter 19: House on Haunted Hill part 5

Releasing a roar, the baphomet closest to the ghost rider ran towards him, before raising his giant ax to attack the rider.

Seeing the baphomet raise his axe, the ghost rider was unfazed. And when the baphomet lowered his axe, the world's time slowed down.

Watching the ax blade coming at a snail's speed towards him, the ghost rider took a step to the side before the speed returned to normal.

As the world's speed returned to normal, the baphomet's ax turned into a blur before hitting the ground beside the rider.

As the baphomet hit the ground, the ax blade sank two-thirds into the fleshy ground, before the force of the blow ceased. Holding the ax handle, the baphomet tried to pull the ax to resume the attack on the ghost rider. But when he pulled it out, the ax didn't move.

Confused that he hadn't been able to pull the axe, the baphomet looked at the ax and noticed the ghost rider's foot resting on top of the axe's neck.

Getting annoyed, the baphomet gave a furious scream, before being interrupted by a punch that landed on his chin.

(Baphomet 1): "Bééé...!"

Pow!

Upon being hit by the ghost rider's punch, the baphomet's chin bones were pulverized, before its massive body was sent flying away from the force of the blow.

(Baphomet 2 and 3): "Bééééé!!!"

Upon seeing what happened to their companion, the Baphomets gave an angry scream. Before running towards the ghost rider with a look seething with hate.

Coming from the ghost rider's left and right, the baphomets approached him as they raised their axes to attack the ghost rider. Aiming at the ghost rider's head, the baphomets swung their axes down, before their axes were blocked by the rider's rifle.

Clang! Clang!

While fending off the two axes with the rifle, the ghost rider's feet sank slightly into the floor made of heart muscles. Producing some ripples that spread across the floor.

After defending himself, the ghost rider swung his rifle, repelling the two axes and causing the two baphomets to lose their balance. Taking advantage of their loss of balance, the ghost rider aimed his rifle at the head of one of them before pulling the trigger.

Recharge!

Baam!

Triggering the rifle, the projectile flew from the barrel of the gun hitting the baphomet's head and causing it to explode.

Boom!

Recharge!

After blowing off the second baphomet's head, the ghost rider quickly took aim at the third, who in reaction used the ax to defend himself from the shot.

Baam!

Boom!

When he received the shot, the ax exploded. Transmitting a strong impact to the body of the baphomet that flew like a bullet towards the wall.

Bash!

When it collided with the wall, the baphomet's body was nailed to it. As he began to release smoke from the burns he suffered from the explosion.

Crack! Crack! Crack! Crack!

Hearing the crackling of bones, the ghost rider withdrew his attention from the third baphomet, turned towards the source of the sound. And he saw not far from him the first baphomet adjusting its jaw, which had recovered from the ghost rider's brutal attack.

Pointing the rifle towards the first baphomet, the ghost rider prepared to fire until he felt his feet sink into the ground.

(Ghost Rider): "Huh?!"

Looking down, the ghost rider saw that his feet had been absorbed up to his ankles by the floor made of heart muscle.

Swooish!

While distracted by his feet, the ghost rider had his rifle taken over by a tentacle that had grown out of the ceiling. That when picking up the rifle quickly pulled it out just before absorbing the tentacle along with the weapon.

Seeing his weapon taken, the ghost rider furrowed his nonexistent brows. Before directing his attention to the baphomet who had just had his chin fixed.

(Baphomet 1): "Crack! Crack! Crack! Bééé... Crack! BééÉÉÉ!!!"

As he finished fixing his chin, the baphomet gave a roar before scraping his hooves on the ground and leaping with a thrust towards the ghost rider to headbutt him.

As the baphomet jumped towards him, the ghost rider clenched his fist before delivering a punch to the baphomet's head that was coming at the speed of a bullet towards him.

Whack!

When the ghost rider's fist hit the baphomet's head, the baphomet's skull shattered as its head was slammed into the ground made of heart muscle.

Crack!

Bash!

When sinking the baphomet's head into the ground, the baphomet's body buckled due to sudden stop. While releasing a large amount of brains that were spit out from the baphomet's head that was destroyed.

Turning the brains that had clung to his body to ash, the ghost rider unstuck his feet from the ground before looking towards the spot where the idol was and seeing that he was no longer there.

Giving an annoyed sigh, the ghost rider started sniffing the air until he stopped and looked towards the hole he had made to get into that one in this room.

Walking towards the hole, the ghost rider grabbed a giant ax that was in front of him before lifting it and throwing it at the head of the third baphomet that was trying to break free from the wall, as it continued its course towards the exit.

Running down the halls Steven, Sara, Eddie and Donald reached the stairs that led to the main hall. Making them hesitate a little before deciding to go upstairs.

When they reached the bottom of the stairs, the group found the main hall covered in flames that had engulfed every place.

(Eddie): "What the fuck"

(Steven Price): "Evelyn!"

(Steven Price): "Pritchett!"

Seeing the hall engulfed by fire, the group was desperate, not knowing what to do. While Steven called out the others' names in hopes that they might still be alive. But he received no answer.

Ti ti ti ti ti

(Sara): "Ah!"

(Donald): "Ah!"

While they were lost, not knowing what, the group was surprised by the sudden appearance of a red bat carrying a black idol, which passed them just before disappearing into the flames of the main hall.

(Eddie): "What was that?"

(Steven Price): "I don't know, but… Coff! Coff! Coff!"

When Steven started coughing, the group noticed that the area where they were was starting to become covered in smoke, making it difficult for them to see and breathe.

(Donald): "Coff... Coff... Let's go back, we can't stay here"

Hearing Donald's suggestion, the group agreed before heading downstairs and back to the basement.

Returning to the basement, the group stopped coughing as they tried to normalize their breathing.

Normalizing their breaths, the group looked at each other, before one of them opened his mouth to speak.

(Eddie): "And now? What do we do?"

Hiin in in hinir

Hearing a horse whinny, the group looked towards the sound and saw the semi-skeletal rider mounted on his semi-skeletal horse at the end of the aisle where they were.

(Eddie): "Damn!"

Drawing his pistol, Eddie prepared to fire. Until he saw the horse rear up and explode along with the rider.

Hiin in in hinir

Boom!

Confused by the sudden explosion of the sculptures, Eddie saw several pieces of them fly down the hall. Until he heard the sound of footsteps echo through the place.

Toh! Toh! Toh! Toh!

Looking down the hall, the group heard the sound grow louder until they saw the ghost rider figure holding a rifle over his shoulder appear from a side passage attached to the end of the hall.

(Eddie): "Shit!"

Upon seeing the rider, the group hid behind Eddie as he pointed his pistol at the ghost rider approaching them.

(Eddie): "Stop! Or I will shoot!"

Ignoring Eddie's scream, the ghost rider continued walking towards them. Until Eddie decides to fire shots at the rider.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

tick! tick!

After firing three shots at the rider, Eddie's pistol ran out of ammo. Leaving him completely pale to see that the shots didn't even cause a scratch on the rider's body, who continued to walk without feeling disturbed.

Backing up a few steps, the group went to the corner of the hallway until the ghost rider passed them and started up the stairs.

(Steven Price): "Wait!"

Stepping out of the middle of the group, Steven approached the stairs while yelling for the ghost rider to wait. Leaving the rest of the group exasperated by Steven's reckless attitude.

Ignoring Steven's request, the ghost rider continued up the stairs. Until Steven dropped to his knees as he made his plea.

(Steven Price): "Please help us"

Stopping up the stairs, the ghost rider fell silent. Before turning around and looking towards Steven who was lying next to the stairs.

Heaving a small sigh, the ghost rider descended the stairs as Steven got to his feet while stepping back a little.

As he finished descending the stairs, the ghost rider waved his hand and a flaming portal formed behind him.

(Steven Price): "I..."

Before Steven could complete his level, the Ghost Rider quickly grabbed him and threw him into the portal.

(Steven Price): "Aah...!"

Sss!

When they saw Steven being thrown through the portal, the group was terrified. Before the Ghost Rider instantly throws them all into the portal.

(Eddie): "Ah...!"

(Sara): "Ah...!"

(Donald): "Ah...!"

Sss!

Sss!

********

Outside the house, in the courtyard in front of the entrance. A portal of fire formed in the place spitting out Steven, Eddie, Sara and Donald all at once.

(Steven Price): "Ah!"

(Eddie): "Ah!"

(Sara): "Ah!"

(Donald): "Ah!"

Bash! Bash! Bash! Bash!

After expelling all four, the flaming portal quickly shrank until it disappeared.

Placing a hand on their heads, the group grumbled a little before lifting themselves off the ground in a bit of confusion.

(Eddie): "This place... Is it outside? We left?"

(Sara): "Yeah, it seems so"

Boom!

Hearing the sound of an explosion, the group looked towards the entrance of the house and saw a large amount of flames being spewed from it, before noticing the ghost rider leaving the house while riding his motorcycle.
