1 Chapter 01: The second chance

On a moonlit night, a young woman was walking by the lake until she faced his pier.

SHAKE! SHAKE!

The young woman who had stopped her tracks, turned her attention to the small agitation.

" Maike are you ?!"

"... Huhu !" The young woman thinking that her boyfriend was playing with her while staying hidden. She took off the pink button-down blouse she was wearing and revealed her large breasts that were not hidden by a bra, while smiling and emphasizing them towards the forest. "Okay, damn it, I'm going."

The young woman took off her blue Denim shorts and ran to the end of the pier, completely naked taking a leap in the middle of the lake.

And the sound of the dive reverberated across the lake.

The young woman, who was swimming calmly in the lake, heard the noise of agitation in the forest once again.

Realizing the danger, the young woman ran quickly into the forest in the opposite direction to the previous sound.

So when the young woman entered the forest, she stopped her tracks when she realized that there was a dense fog in front of her.

With the sound of constant steps, the figure of a man becomes visible within the fog.

With a desperate cry, the young woman ran with all her strength away from the figure of the man who approached her.

Not finding his figure, the young woman looked around her cautiously as she walked on her back, slowly approaching a large tree.

As she touched the big tree, the woman breathed a sigh of relief.

And he tried to walk through the forest again.

Hearing the sound of branches breaking, the young woman turned her attention towards the sound, while walking slowly on her back in the opposite direction to the sound.

Seeing nothing, the woman turned to try to run. But...

The young woman was stabbed in exchange for the tree by the man in the hockey mask .

Lucas was packing his backpack while watching the scene of Jason stabbing a woman on television.

After packing his backpack, Lucas turned off the television and left his house.

Upon leaving the house, Lucas came across a beggar who was sitting at the entrance to his house.

Not wanting to bother him Lucas thought about leaving, since he was late to go to his internship in a hospital. So when he was about to make his way, Lucas noticed that there was a pot of coins in front of the beggar.

And when he looked closer he saw that it was empty, with no money in it.

Lucas then took out his wallet and pulled out a twenty reais bill, it was the only money he had at that time.

then holding the twenty reais bill in his left hand, Lucas placed the bill in the beggar's coin pot and when he was going to take his left hand out of the pot, Lucas was grabbed by the wrist.

Looking at the individual who grabbed him, Lucas realized that the beggar had woken up.

And from the way the beggar looked at him, Lucas thought the beggar had misinterpreted his intentions.

He must think I'm trying to steal it: Lucas thought.

"Wait, sir, I'm just putting money in your coin jar. I'm not stealing anything."

The beggar who heard Lucas' words, nodded his head expressing his understanding. Then he released Lucas's wrist and sent him a few words.

He could see the silhouette of the metro, inside the tunnel. So Lucas positioned himself to get on the subway.

When suddenly a man in a green suit who was behind Lucas, pushed him onto the railroad tracks.

And the last thing Lucas saw were the subway headlights, accompanied by the screams of several people.

When he opened his eyes, Lucas saw only darkness.

While confused by the situation, Lucas's body was illuminated by a light from above.

He tried to see if it was a lamp, but that didn't seem to be the case.

(Lucas): "What is that ?! Did I die and was sent to the afterlife?"

(Unknown voice): "Correct"

(Lucas): "...hum?!"

A little stunned by the unexpected response, Lucas looked in the direction the sound came from and saw a man come out of the darkness.

He was a man in a green robe that covered his entire body, leaving only the middle-aged face, with black hair and beard visible.

The man stopped in front of Lucas, right in the middle of the light. And he watched him with bright green eyes with great interest.

(unknown man): "Although got your situation right with just one suggestion, you still seem to be confused by what happened Lucas."

(Lucas): "Who are you? And why am I in this place?"

( Loki ): "I am Loki , a god. And you Lucas Martins de Souza is between the world of the living and the dead, in a place created by me to receive your body and soul from the accident that killed you."

Lucas was shocked, he thought the previous conversation was just a joke and that the events at the subway station were just part of a dream.

(Lucas): "but, but, how could this happen ?!"

I avoided making big mistakes, not going out in big parties so as not to get involved with strangers and shortening the number of friends I used to not get involved in confusion, always obeying my parents' orders to be a good boy, and yet, why? why did this happen to me? I did nothing to deserve this. "

The sound of tears falling on the floor echoes in a world of low light.

Loki who watched Lucas' suffering with a big smile. he decided to get him out of this state, after having spent a few minutes watching him.

Lucas, who heard Loki's words , stopped crying and turned his eyes, which were now red and swollen, to Loki .

(Lucas): "Can I really go back?"

( Loki ): "You can return to your home, as long as you do some work for me."

(Lucas): "Jobs?"

Lucas looked at Loki with a suspicious look.

( Loki ): "Lucas, you don't have to look at me like that. I'm not going to ask you to do something bad, but ..."

( Loki ): "... I want you to become my knight temporarily."

(Lucas): "Your rider?"

( Loki ): "Yes, I need you to become my knight to punish evils, that torment the innocent in other worlds."

( Loki ): "And of course, I will give you the strength you need to accomplish this task. But the question is if you are really willing to fight for your second chance."

Lucas was silent for a moment. And then he looked into Loki's eyes , with a resolute look and replied:

"I accept, if I can really come back, I will accept your request. But before that ..."

( Loki ): "Satisfied?"

Loki took one of his hands out of the green cloak. Revealing what he held.

It was a red sphere that was constantly on fire.

Lucas who realized what was going to happen next. He quickly got to his feet and approached Loki .

When Lucas approached Loki . He received the flaming sphere in Loki's hands on his chest .

... And a pain hit him. His chest, which had received the sphere, burned inside.

And that internal burning, it was not just in your chest. It spread throughout your body. Causing Lucas to burst into flames from the inside out.

And the cry of pain that he was unable to hide, soon became a Roar.

Lucas's Body, which used to be a handsome boy, sixteen years old, six feet tall, with black hair, light brown eyes and dark skin.

Now it was a burning skeleton that never went out.

Lucas saw Loki use his right hand, which previously held the flaming sphere, to take out an item, which appeared to be a wristwatch from the green cloak.

( Loki ): "This item will be your browser, which will open the portals, which took you to fifteen different universes. And in those fifteen universes you will find your targets with his help."

After Loki finished speaking, the item that looked like a black watch flew from his hand and caught on the wrist of Lucas's left arm.

( Loki ): "Good! Now I'm going to introduce you to your travel companion."

(Loki): "Come on!"

listening to the roar of a motorcycle, Lucas saw a black motorcycle with red flames drawn on it, coming out of the darkness under Loki's command .

( Loki ): "This bike will be your mount, like the ghost rider of the modern era."

Lucas approached the bike and touched it.

When he touched it, the bike started to creak and change shape. Assuming the appearance of a hellish motorcycle.

After transforming the bike, Lucas rode it.

( Loki ): "Good! Before I go, allow me to give you a better outfit."

With a snap of his fingers, Lucas's body was covered with a green light.

This light stayed on Lucas' body for a while, before disappearing and revealing his new clothes.

It was a set of black rider clothes: a jacket, a shirt, pants, a pair of boots and a pair of gloves.

Seeing that Lucas seemed to like his new clothes, Loki made a sign with his right hand that activated the item attached to Lucas' wrist.

Open!

With the opening sound, a circular portal appeared in front of Lucas.

( Loki ): "Go Lucas, fulfill your mission and receive your reward!"

(Lucas): " Yes! And thanks. "

( Loki ): "No need to thank."

Brum ! Brum ! Bruuuuum !

Starting the bike, Lucas accelerated towards the portal, which disappeared after Lucas' crossing.

Looking towards the portal that disappeared, Loki smiled and told Lucas that was no longer there.

( Loki ): "No need to thank, because you will regret Lucas."

Then Loki looked back and said the hooded person who was hiding in the darkness:

( Loki ): "Follow him, and protect him in the shadows."

The hooded man bowed and disappeared into the shadows.

Shortly afterwards that the hooded man left. A portal opened in the dark room and a dark elf in armor came out of it.

( Loki ): "Um! What did Kinnel do here , didn't I give the order to stay in Asgard ?"

( Kinnel ): "Forgive me my lord, but I received instructions from Odin , to take you back to Asgard ."

( Loki ): "From Odin ? What does he want with me?"

( Kinnel ): "Apparently an entity from another universe came to Asgard , claiming that you had stolen one of his treasures in his world. And he demanded that Odin compel him to return his treasure."

( Loki ): "I understand, but he acted faster than I anticipated, as expected from Mephisto . I really can't underestimate him, but ... It's too late for him to be able to stop me."

Loki smiled, then he waved his hand and a portal opened.

( Loki ): "Come on Kinnel , We need to go to Asgard to prove my innocence."

( Kinnel ): "As you wish, my lord."

Then Loki and Kinnel left for Asgard via the portal.

A blue circular portal appeared. And Lucas left him in his ghost rider form, riding his motorcycle.
