Chapter 71: Hunt For Greta.

(A/N): Sorry, guys, I have not uploaded a chapter for nearly a month.

Klaus and Antoinette looked at Elijah, who was in deep slumber in the middle of the ruins on the floor.

Antoinette nervously thought about what Jojo had mentioned.

"Don't worry. If he truly loves you, he will not abandon you even if he gets his memory back."

"I will do it. I have confidence that I truly love her. I will prove it to her."

Blurred images of Elijah looking at her lovingly, speaking seriously without breaking eye contact, replayed in her mind.

Sigh...

"Klaus, I will call Hope and inform them that we have succeeded and to start the next stage of the plan."

Jojo broke the silence and took out his mobile to make a call.

"Hahaha... I need to see his face when he knows that..."

Rebekah joined midway when Hayley explained Jojo to Kol. She laughed sinisterly with a mischievous glint.

"Mom, Jojo called me."

Amid playful banter between the three, Hope walked towards them curiously and informed Hayley.

Noticing even her aunt Rebekah joining Kol in teasing her, Hope changed the subject with a deliberate cough.

"Then all that's left is to kill Greta and her group of followers."

Marcel joined the conversation after hearing Klaus and the group had succeeded in the first of the plans Freya had told him about.

Hearing Marcel, the others also nodded.

After neutralizing Elijah, everything would be solved easily by killing Greta and her group.

"No... we can't kill Greta."

Everyone, ready to head to Greta's hideout after Freya read Roman's memory, stopped and looked at Hope.

In the TV series, Greta would have wiped Roman's memory after successfully capturing Hayley.

But due to Jojo's intervention, Roman was caught before the plan was put forth.

Freya and Jojo read his memories like an open book while punishing him for his sins.

When everyone heard Hope's reluctance to kill Greta, they looked at her confusedly.

"It seems a miracle that Klaus didn't pounce on Antoinette after hearing Elijah's condition."

Rebekah rolled her eyes, annoyed at her brother's aggression and possessiveness when it came to his family.

"Then what are we waiting for? Shall we go?"

Marcel looked at the others, who were ready and grinning at him without any hint of panic.

Greta was currently looking at the vampire before her with narrowed eyes.

"What do you mean? Huh... according to your investigation, Roman has not returned yet."

She asked, her tone increasing in volume.

'Everything is perfect. I planned it well. Where did my useless son go when I gave him an important assignment? Could it be he got caught... if this is true, they must have already attacked... did he run away fearing Klaus... it must be it...'

After pondering for nearly 15 minutes, recalling her plan, she opened her eyes and looked at the vampire who reported to her.

"Keep a watch; he might send a signal. Wait for a day. If there is no signal from him, then you guys proceed with the attack on the Mikaelson compound and kidnap our target."

Greta instructed the vampire coldly.

Even if she knew about Roman's death, she wouldn't care and say it's to protect the natural order, sacrifice must be made.

Hearing the scream, Greta's face turned ugly.

She knew who the attackers were. Who else would attack her other than the Mikaelsons?

When she exited the basement, she was greeted by the sight of all the Mikaelson family members killing her followers one after another easily, except for Klaus and Elijah, who were currently with her daughter.
