9 Chapter 9: Liar
Ignoring the tap on her shoulder, Yu Holea went to the switchboard and turned on the lights.
Whoosh.
Whis Whis.
Some blabbering sounded near her ears.
Turning to her left, she saw a mirror.
At first, she saw her clear image, but then...
A figure suddenly ran out from the mirror in her direction.
The figure when reached near Yu Holea, vanished suddenly.
Tap Tap
Whis Whis.
The tapping on her shoulder and whispers near her ears was getting more frequent.
"Hahaha"
Yu Holea heard laughter from the stairs to 2nd floor.
Lights started flickering.
Reaching the stairs, she saw a man with messy shoulder-length hair, in white cloth, and blood on his teeth and mouth murmuring something.
The lights were suddenly turned off, and the atmosphere turned cold.
Nearing the man, she heard him clearly,
"Look behind, Look behind"
Yu Holea looked behind.
No one.
Looking back, a face appeared in front of her.
Piak.
Yu Holea slapped the ghost hard.
She spat out words with a harsh tone,
"Liar"
The ghost was stunned.
Rage appeared in his eyes and they turned fully black and red.
He spat hatefully, "Celestial Master."
Yu Holea indifferently hummed.
The ghost suddenly smiled and his body started twisting.
While humming a song, a strange smile appeared on his face,
"Evil lives, Demon win, Heart gets tainted once done a bad deed. Oh, greed destroys me, yet I commit 7 deadly sins."
Yu Holea's eyes narrowed.
Song of Evilness.
Song of Evilness had the power to weaken a person's will and confuse him to commit the 7 deadly sins, making him perfect to get possessed.
Pride, Greed, Lust, Envy, Gluttony, Wrath, and Sloth are the 7 deadly sins.
Many humans commit them daily, however, it is within the range that was acceptable.
But once they had an extreme of anything, they will die for sure.
The best example was the original host, she was envious of Yu Mei to the extreme, leading her to a path of self-destruction.
Yu Holea remained unfazed.
Seeing her unfazed, the strange smile on the ghost's face stiffened.
"Done?'
She asked and suddenly made some hand seals.
Slowly she started singing too.
Her voice was ethereal and mesmerizing.
"How patience and diligence, lead a person to the life of essence. Humility and Charity have become a rarity, Chasity and temperance will make you glow and enhance your presence."
Song of Virtue.
Other than 7 deadly sins, there are also 7 virtues that oppose them.
Patience, Diligence, Humility, Charity, Chasity, Temperance, and Gratitude are the 7 virtues.
By the time, Yu Holea ended her song, the ghost's face turned pale and he started vanishing slowly.
"Why? Why? I was a victim too..."
Yu Holea looked at him with interest, she snapped her fingers, and the ghost stopped vanishing.
"Rong Jie died at the age of 45. His destiny was that of a successful person, however, it was interchanged using a forbidden method."
Hearing Yu Holea's words, tears appeared in the ghost's eyes.

"Rong Hua was the one with a successful destiny and you tried to interchange the fate. However, the method failed and you became a resentful ghost. You truly deserve to die..."
Rong Jie's wronged expression turned hideous, he tried to attack Yu Holea.
Snap
Yu Hole snapped her finger.
Rong Jie's shriek sounded.
Silence.
The light turned back to normal, and darkness and coldness in the air slowly faded.
Yu Holea took out a talisman paper and knife from the bag and cut her finger.
Using her blood she drew a talisman and tossed it in the air.
A golden light came out from the talisman paper and surrounded the house.
The golden light cleared all the bad luck and checked the surrounding.
Once it was sure that they were no other ghosts, Yu Holea sat weakly on the ground.
The ghost she just now encountered was a powerful one with 20 years of cultivation base.
