This novel should be removed. It's almost been over 2 months. Even novels that recently appeared are still getting higher votes than this novel. I will vote for every novel that is not this novel because the longer it stays here, it's cheating the system due to how long it stays compared to other novels. It's obvious that the majority of readers don't take this series as something great.
I loved this story, until the chapter about the Crown Prince being raped by men and blackmailed and humiliated by so many people made me gag. It was such a disgusting scene that all the love and interest I had for this novel vaporized. I don't even remember what happened before that anymore!!! All I remember is that dirty feeling I got reading that cruel scene!!! Rape is a depraved act and it should never be belittled!!! It shouldn't be written like some sort of punishment for the wicked!!! Nobody deserves to be treated like that!!!
Plot is good. Characters are good. Build-up is good. What's bad? The dialogue, translator's thesaurus, authors list of phrases and their strange urge to push the MC on to a pedestal no matter the situation. Mainly because of the author, the book tends to go through waves of good and bad every 20 or so. The author keeps on putting in unessesary descriptions of the MC's BEWITCHING smile. Notice the caps? It's there for a reason. I have read 4 straight chapter with atleast one mention of the MC hanging around lazily inside her house and smilingly BEWITCHINGLY. That was the exact word used everytime. E-V-E-R-Y-T-I-M-E. I You would think that this was on the translator, but you'd be wrong. I thought that too when I first read Enchantress Among Alchemists, another one of the author's tled books, but that changed when I read the other books by the author. All the translators are diffeent but this pattren shows up in each book. It's like the author writes amazingly for a period of time then all of a sudden they remeber that they haven't talked about how amazing the MC is for a while so they write a bunch of chapters in a couple of hours, doing their best to build up the MC. Ex: The book started out terrible. The author was completely focused on trying to make the MC look amazing but there wasn't anyone there to be her foil. So what did they do? The made the MC confront her General grandfather. About what? He went to fight wars and when he came back he heard that his granddaughter had tried to kidnapped a handsome man in broad daylight so he asked her what was going on. Didn't hit her. Didn't yell. Just asked. But the MC lost her **** at him, lecturing him that he didn't care for his granddaughter and cared more about what other people told him. Worst of all, to make surebthat the MC looked all smart and astute, and because the grandfather was supposed to be a good guy and the good guy can't go against the MC, he even agreed that she was right! The author does this kind of thing multiple times but in diffrent ways. There's the BEWITCHING smile, the lashout at grandpa, all the times that the characters do a double take when she says something "shocking" (things they've already been told when the author was writing normally, but since there needs to be something to prop the MC up, we'll all just pretend we didn't already hear it once). All of this sucks because the MC is a great character, one of my favourite MC's infact! I hated her with a passion when I started the story but once the author started writing like a nprmal person, she was amazing! Her relationship with her grandfather was adorable and she was awesome with the ML. (Maybe spoiler) Quick note: if you've ever read one of the other books by the author, you know it's coming. The vengeful ***** that just won't die who's in love with the ML. It's in all of the author's books. Other books have them too but these women usually die in a about 200 chaps max at the start, but Vengeful *****โข is in a whole new league. It's been a while since I read so I can't remeber their names but there was the sickly daughter of the sect head who dreamed of the ML so she thought they were destined lovers (Evil Emp Wild Consort) (the author worked hard to push that one through, you'll know when you find out the real reason she dreamt of ML), and there was that girl who transmigrated into the MC's orignal parents rival clan's daughter who followed the main couple through multiple lives (Enchantress among alchemist)(man that is one sticky bitch)
ok ppl ! this week we have a 50,000 margin over the other competitor . Lets gear up and make sure that this book wins the highest votes this week so that we can finally have this story in our library . To all the people who don't have any particular preference kindly give your spirit stones to this book .

This novel plot, storyline, character even the description of the main character and the dialogue all are the same as the other novel written by the same author: Enchanters Amongst Alchemist, Ghost King's Wife. I had dropped the other novel because to me there is no concrete plot of the story and just go drown along the way. And when i read this novel up until chap 180 i have a feeling that this novel too will go drown because it has no solid plot and the worst is the author wrote this novel just similar with her other novel EAA: Ghost King's Wife
I wanted to rate this a little more, but well, a fair 3.4 score it's what it gets. For me. I'm assuming that the author of this novel is the same of Evil Emperor's Wild Consort, although don't know since the name has a space between the name. Whatever. Thanks to this novel I don't have the mood to read that novel. To the point... why the hell she always and I mean ALWAYS, smile devilishly... why is that??... can't you smile like a normal person with a brain?... and ALWAYS cast a side glance to the people who she talks... Can't you watch the person who you talk straight??? Are you a moron??? And why the **** does always things turn your way??? Ehh, MC???... right... that's it... you're the MC... And the Male boy toy of MC... Dude... you're SUPER OP apparently... and a moron super OP at that... Your personality is really... really... what can I say?... a super idiot op virgin dude... ... ... like a little kid in *****ty. And the old grampa... for the love of Budda and mother earth. You transformed into the slave of your granddaughter... I want to sigh but I can't... have some personality in your old bones!!!!... and stop surprising and overreacting all the time that way... just kill with a slap your granddaughter for once!!! PLEASE!!! And Author... stop writing all the time tinghs like "The fouth look at the back of MC with his cunning eyes" or "4th prince is taking a shi.t with his cunning eyes"... PLEASE make your characters have some brain... BRAIN!!!!!!!.... whenever I read this I wish I could strangle you through the monitor. No offense... haha ... but I do. I really want to write more properly but well... with the quality of this novel I can't. BUT... even if I say all this, just for the sake of wasting time I'll read this piece of work. SO... for the people who want to pass the time with nothing fulfilling you are in the right place. That's all.
I have read this book from the beginning it gets boring at a point, too much killing and repetition of same act on different scene, nothing to keep me going, I know it's another female lead but the male lead disappears for so long and make it seem uninteresting. Am seriously not a fan because it made me more bored.
