25 - Basement

The Crew and the couple stood in front of the house with cameras pointed at them.

"Ready?" Zach asked.

"Ready." x5 The rest of the group replied.

"Okay. Count us down when we are live." Zach ordered the cameraman.

"5...4...3...2..1..." The cameraman counted down and as soon as 1 was said, Zach started the introduction to the broadcast.

"Hello, and welcome to everyone who is tuning in to our live special."

"Originally we would be over at the abandoned penitentiary."

"But when we were setting up there, David approached us for help." Zach gestured to David and the camera view widened to include both of them.

"He approached us with a lot of frightening experiences in his home, so we sent James to check it out."

"And let me tell you. it didn't disappoint us."

"James saw a shadow figure through the window of the house and a crystal clear Spirit box voice before he got touched and captured an unknown mist on his camera." Zach said as he pulled out a recorder and played Jack's "I am" for the viewers.

"Unfortunately James only saw the shadow figure with his own eyes so we don't have that to show you."

"if you want to see the recording of the mist you can go to our website where we will be uploading all of our evidence."

"We have cameras set up all over the house that you viewers can peruse at any time on the website."

"If you viewers at home see anything we missed you can point it out on our forums and we will be constantly monitoring them at our nerve center." Zach walked to the van with the camera following him and introduced the van before then walked closer to David.

"Now let's get into the good part.

I just want to make clear to the viewers at home that although we have been told a bit about what David and his wife Sarah have experienced here we don't know the details so we will be hearing it for the first time with you." Zach explained while he pointed at the camera with the camera focused on him and the couple.

"David please give us and the viewers a tour of your home and tell us about what you have experienced." Said Zach as the camera then focused on David.

"Sure well as soon as we enter we have my daughter's room alongside the basement. " David explained as they entered with his wife and Zach as the cameraman followed them in.

They came to the entryway and stopped while David pointed to each door and told them which door led to what.

"My wife and I have had different experiences here at almost the same time, my wife will explain her experience with my daughter's room and I'll talk about the basement after. " David explained to everyone.

"I've had multiple things happen to me here. one time I was cleaning my daughter's room when I heard footsteps coming toward me, it was so loud that I thought someone was in my house, and considering I was alone at the time I was frightened." Sarah explained as she stood in Angelica's doorway with the camera pointing at her.

"Later that night my husband and I were in bed about to sleep when we heard a door slamming and heavy footsteps. We thought someone broke in the front door, so we grabbed whatever we could for defense and rushed over."

"But there wasn't anything out of place and we didn't see anyone." Sarah continued to tell everyone what happened with a scared face.

"After we rushed over I checked the front door and made sure it was locked." David took over after his wife and the camera pointed at him with the basement door behind him.

"Right after that, I was about to go back to my wife who was checking on our daughter when the basement door slowly opened." Right after David finished his sentence, Jack who was behind him decided to spend a bit of energy and repeated the scenario.

David froze as he heard the door he was standing in front of open right after he finished speaking.

The crew and camera saw it open behind him as they focused on him while he was telling his story.

David with his eyes wide shakily turned behind him and saw the door open.

"Yes... just like that..." said David as he turned back around.

"Give me that." There were a few more seconds of silence before Zach took a camera and opened the door and looked down the stairs with it.

"Just to show there is no one down there. We'll have to check the camera stationed down there."

"It should be able to see that no one went up and down these stairs." Zach explained to the audience.

He then handed the camera back before telling David to continue his story.

"Well, after I see the door open I wanted to check and make sure no one was down there."

" So I went down and looked around but didn't see anything so I made my way back to the stairs."

"When I got to the stairs and looked up u saw a shadow figure standing up here that looked at me for a bit and then turned and walked light this." David mimicked what he remembered as he spoke about it.

He stood in the doorway looking down and then turned to walk to Angelica's room.

"I was so scared but seeing it head toward my daughter's room I quickly made my way up while yelling to warn my wife."

"When I got up to the top and looked there was no one there and my wife didn't see anyone either." David finished his explanation and after a few seconds of silence, Zach responded.

"Wow... so much activity just in this area. Has anything else happened down there?"

"Yeah, the light flips off by itself down there." David replied.

Zach motioned the cameraman to focus on him.

"The basement is going to be focused on by myself all alone down there later tonight, when we were setting up we got a lot of EVPs that should be on the website for you to listen to here shortly." Zach talked to the camera before looking at David.

"What's the next place with activity?" Zach saw that David nodded at him, so he asked.

"Well next is the living room just down here." David said as they walked out and down the hall.

Meanwhile, Jack was checking his system for a notification he got after he opened the door.

Jack got another 15% from the scares to the crew while they were prepping earlier and then another 5% from the scare from the door just now.

The final 2% that he got came along with a notification about how depending on how shocking his activities are that got captured on camera and then viewed by people, he gets an experience boost.
