1 Intro

Arlize stared straight at the person opposite, which basically gave off the expression that she needed to take utmost responsibility for the other person.

A frown made its way onto her beautiful brows, which made the masculine man, who does not have any masculine expression on his face at all, give birth to another expression other than grievance—anxiousness.

Arlize does not know whether the man opposite her was anxious because she frowned or whether the man was anxious because she was still not budging her decision.

Her decision to reject a proposal was so out of the blue.

A marriage proposal.

"Like I have said, I did not fall from the sky, nor was I offered to you as a bride by God. I experienced such unexpected circumstances a while ago, leading me to fall in your arms. If you still do not want to accept such facts, then I don't know what to do with you anymore."

Arlize can't keep on being cold towards the man opposite hers. With a puppy-like personality and expression, it is really hard for her to keep on acting cold towards a person who only knows how to act cute to get what she wants.

Even though the said man acting cute had a big build and was even older than herself...

"Your lying! I made a wish on a well before my birthday that a bride would appear and fall on my arms. You appeared and fell on my arms; doesn't that mean that God granted me my wish since I have been a good boy since?" Arlize massaged her aching temples after hearing the same explanation that the man opposite hers insisted on her believing.

"Get out and get your parents here. We will discuss this instead," she finally said, rolling her eyes at the man opposite hers, who suddenly beamed.

"Are you going to discuss our wedding with my parents?!" the man, who resembled a puppy too much, screamed like a child, his voice tainted with big excitement.

Arlize only looked over without any expression on her face.

"Get out," a single sentence from Arlize made the beaming man opposite her stand up and salute seriously, nodding vigorously as his lips left out a response.

"Yes Ma'am!"

With such a response, the childish guy went outside for a few seconds before he appeared again, along with two middle-aged people walking cautiously by his side, not too close but even. far?

Is this a parent or a worker?

Arlize narrowed her eyes a little bit as she fell into deep thought, but the couple and the childish guy who kept claiming she was his bride sent by God sat opposite her.

Arlize went silent for a moment.

"Let that guy out. It was better if only the three of us discussed this," she suggested, expecting that the couple that must be reasonable would agree to her request.

But even before the childish guy could voice out his complaints, the middle-aged man was the first to disagree.

"I deeply apologize for this, Miss.?"

"Arlize" was a short introduction after that one incomplete sentence fell.

"Oh, Miss Arlize! I am so sorry, but can we keep my son here? He won't do anything and won't distract us at all. Please just say what you wanted to discuss with us," the dad finally introduced and said.

The childish guy and the mom quietly sitting there all nodded their heads victoriously.

Arlize raised her brows as the corner of her lips slightly cocked upward, an evil thought forming inside her head.

She crossed her arm and leaned towards the soft couch on her back, looking at the childish guy who still had that serious expression and its parents showing a posture like protecting a calf.

"If you wanted your son to cry in the middle of my discussion, I wouldn't mind him staying here," she said with a smile, her siren eyes curling down as he looked over at the parents, who wore a shocked expression after hearing the things she said.

Drinking some water to moisten her dry throat, the mini-fight between parents and children finally ended as the child was forced to step out of the room.

Arlize lightly smiled.

The mom who saw such a smile on Arlize's lips had a slum shoulder. "Your quite evil for our son."

The mom commented lightly. It could be used as a joke, but there is no way that

Arlize would take it lightly.

She will use everything that could be used in order to get out of this predicament.

"Yeah, I am too evil for your son, so why don't you say to him that I am not the bride his good God had sent to him?" Arlize's lips always had a smile hanging on them, but her eyes when looking at the two middle-aged people opposite her held no smile at all.

Especially as it became even colder when the dad suddenly kneeled down on the ground and yelled loudly.

"Please marry our son! We will compensate you for the rest of your life; just please agree to marry our son!" The begging tone of the older man that was kneeling before her made her coldly narrow her eyes as she looked on without emotion when the mom also decided to kneel before her.

This continued for a few minutes before Arlize finally decided to make a sound.

"I don't have the good qualities an in-law should have towards their older in-laws,"

Arlize started to say.

The middle-aged people had their eyes lit up after hearing that.

"It's okay as long as you treat our son well! You never had to deal with us most of the time since you have your own house; you can choose not to visit us and also choose whether to move or build another house. You have the say on everything that our son owns, except that you can't divorce our son, but not until..." the dad suddenly stopped talking.

Arlize raised a brow after realizing what the childish guy's dad meant.

"Until?" she said, expecting the dad to continue talking.

The middle-aged man took a deep breath before he seriously looked Arlize in the eyes.

"He regained his right consciousness"
