478 I Will Wait For Your Return

After she was finished with dinner, Liliana didn't immediately leave as she mentioned to Nancy before. Instead, she planned to visit the baking kitchen. The clock had just struck a quarter to nine.

Before that, Liliana sent texts to Old Master Ding. She still did so even though the old man had already been notified of her late arrival at the mansion.

[Liliana: I might get home before ten, just finished dinner with my friend]

[Liliana: Please tell my mom, Grandpa :)]

Replies came immediately. It seemed as if Old Master Ding was already waiting for any texts or calls from Liliana.

[Grandpa: I'll tell your mom, don't worry]

[Grandpa: Don't take a cab. One of the drivers will pick you up]

[Grandpa: Don't get home too late]

Chuckling, Liliana shook her head in helplessness. She wanted to say that she would get to the mansion by a cab as always but, she held herself back.

[Liliana: Alright, Grandpa]
