1 A rough start

An exhausted scream pierced through the pitch-black night.

The 46-year-old doctor wiped the sweat of his forehead and looked at the young mother who had just born her first child.

" It's a boy. What should be his name?"

The young mother looked with love at the small newborn that screamed for her attention.

The Doctor turned to the female assistant and told her to bring the new father into the room. She nodded and walked to the door of the small bedroom. Once she opened the door, the man who had been walking circles for at least 2 hours said with panic in his eyes

The female assistant interrupted him:" You can come in now. Everything is fine."

The young man named Friedrich Speth rushed inside the room and looked at his wife and the baby who was now resting on her chest. He walked slowly to the small chair that stands next to the bed. He's shaking and is seemingly nervous. After sitting down and looking at the child, he said: "What is it?

Anne, his wife, replied: "it's a boy".

They looked at each other and smiled

She said: " He has your eyes."

He replied with a short laughter

The Doctor interrupts this beautiful scene and says: " We will leave now. Have a good night."

The man looked towards the doctor and said:"wait", but, until he gave the baby back to his mother, the doctor and his assistant left the small house.

After leaving and walking for a short time towards the inner ring of the city, the female assistant turned towards the Doctor and said:

"Why didnt you charge them?"

He looked back at her and replied: "Do you really believe that they could pay? They are just peasants. Just let them be we have enough money."

While they were talking, a shooting star rushed across the dark sky.

Maybe that boy is really destined for Glory.
