3 Invite Ticket?

Isaac looked at the series of new system points and was quite surprised. It's because the points given were more than usual.

'Is it because Freminet is someone related to the game's story...?' Isaac quickly speculated in his mind. 'If so, then that means I would gain more points from story-related characters...'

While in the middle of his thoughts, the system suddenly sent him a message in the form of a mail. 'Huh?'

Isaac noticed it and clicked on the mail icon that suddenly popped up in front of him.

[A-Rank quest completed]

[Name: Travail]

[Type: Side Quest]

[Objectives: Have a content-related character enter your café]

[Reward(s): Invite Ticket (1)]

'An A-Rank quest...?' Isaac was confused. He didn't know anything about such a quest. As such, he quickly opened his quest tab and saw that below the golden S-Rank quest, others were hidden. 'What the... There are more? Also... [Feed Tartaglia a Laxative]? What the...'

As it turns out, there were more quests than the Main Quest and the Daily Quests. And that other one was the Side Quests.

The side quests contained a lot of hidden tasks, ranging from daring and deadly quests like climbing on top of Palais Mermonia and taking a peek at Neuvillette's office, to mundane quests like helping the Melusines with their paperwork.

'Odd... I should try some of them later...' Isaac nodded to himself.

Just then, a voice rang and was caught by his ear. With the same shy and low voice, Freminet spoke. "Excuse me... I'm done now."

Diverting his attention from the system, Isaac looked at Freminet and nodded with a gentle smile. "Was the Latte to your liking?"

"It was good..." Freminet sincerely said with a low voice. He then added, "It was better than the usual espresso I drink..."

"I'm glad you liked it." Isaac breathed a sigh of relief with a smile showing his relief. He then took Freminet's cup. "If you liked it, you are more than welcome to come back."

"...I will..." Freminet whispered under his breath. If it were anyone, they might not have noticed him saying this— however, Isaac was very observant, and he was able to hear it.

'Secured.' Hearing Freminet, Isaac silently rejoiced in his heart. 'Finally... A regular customer that's store-related...'

"Then..." Suddenly, Isaac turned his head and looked at Freminet. With a conniving smile fit for a merchant, Isaac pressed down a small piece of paper in front of Freminet. "That would be 180 Mora."

"..." Freninet momentarily stared at Isaac for a moment as if he had guessed the latter's personality wrong. After a moment, he pulled out a pouch of Mora and gave it to Isaac. "Here..."

Isaac happily took the pouch of Mora and thanked Freminet. "Thank you for your patronage!"

"..." Freminet remained silent.

Truth be told, Freminet's first impression of Isaac was someone a compassionate person who liked his job. However, the more Isaac talks, the more Freminet understands that this man loves money.

Freminet finished drinking and was just about to leave when Isaac's voice rang over and entered his ears. "Farewell, dear customer."

Freminet turned around and saw Isaac's sincere smile. For some reason, that smile remained on Freminet's mind. He then thought, 'He does seem like a good person...' Shortly afterward that thought, he left the café.

Seeing him leave, Isaac breathed out a sigh. Grasping his chin, he muttered to himself, "I think I did a good job for first impressions."

Proud of his work, Isaac wasted no effort and pulled out a Pain Viennois from the glass container on the counter.

Pain Viennois looked similar to a Baguette, however, it was much smaller. It was fitting for a light snack paired with coffee.

However, Isaac didn't want to have stomach congestion, so he wouldn't be drinking any more coffee. Moreover, it was nearing nighttime. He didn't want to have any more caffeine left in his body.

Instead, he'll stick with regular old water. Soon, he left the counter he was in.

Biting down on the Viennois bread, Isaac looked at his system inventory and looked at the new item he obtained from the side quest.

[Name: Invite Ticket]

[Description: An item used to invite a random person related to the game story to the café. Once the person leaves the café's door, they'll return to their previous location.]

[Note: One-time use!]

"Well, I kinda guessed what it was already for the name alone..." Isaac said to himself before sitting down at the table he was at earlier. "Still... This is a great item for me..."

"But does it only summon someone once or can they repeatedly come back?" Isaac grasped his chin whole eating the Viennois bread. Its chewy and slightly sweet taste spread around his mouth as he chewed.

Gulping down, Isaac cradled his glass of water before taking a drink and washing the bread down his esophagus. Soon, Isaac started pondering in his mind.

After a few minutes of contemplation...

"Well, I won't know unless I try," In the end, Isaac could only shrug with a carefree smile. He took out the Invite Ticket from the system inventory.

Soon, a purple ticket floated in his hand with some strange patterns on it. However, if one were to look closer, they'll soon realize that the pattern was the Intertwined Fate symbol!

"It all comes back to Gacha..." Isaac's face darkened at the sight of the ticket as his dark past crept up on him. He shook his head and removed those thoughts. "Moving on..." He soon commanded the system to use the ticket.

[Use Invite Ticket? Y/N]

Isaac didn't hesitate and pressed the 'Y' button. Shortly after doing this, the ticket flew from his palm and headed towards the Café's door.

Floating on top of the doorframe, the ticket slowed down as it adjusted itself and slowly blended with the Doorframe, becoming one with it.

[Now choosing random character...] The system's notification appeared in front of Isaac.

However, Isaac was preoccupied with something else as he looked at the door. "Wow...",

Strange symbols started appearing around the door's frames, and soon, a bluish-pink hue originating from the top of the doorframe started spreading to those symbols.

After a few seconds...

[Character invited!]

After seeing this message, Isaac quickly lifted his head and looked at who was invited.

Soon, a portrait of a child in red appeared on the system screen. Seeing who it was, Isaac was momentarily stunned.

[Profile]

[Name: Klee]

[Vision: Pyro]

[Title: Spark Knight]

[From: Mondstadt]

"Haha..." Seeing who it was, Isaac wryly laughed. He then jokingly interjected, "I got a terrorist on the first pull."

How could Isaac not know who Klee is? She was the child who single-handedly terraformed an entire mountain because she was testing her bombs. And she's still a child!

The Feared Fish Killer of Mondstadt!

Younger Sister of the famed Alchemist Albedo!

Daughter of the powerful mage Alice!

Spark Knight Klee!

[Summon 'Spark Knight Klee' now?]

Seeing that he had the option of whether to summon Klee, Isaac breathed a sigh of relief.

It was currently 5 p.m., and the sky was starting to get dark. He did not want to deal with someone like Klee right before dinner.

As such, he decided to summon Klee tomorrow. Tonight, he just wanted some peace for himself.

[Invite Ticket used. To use more, please buy from the shop!]

"So that's why it was a one-time use item..." Isaac sighed as he shook his head. Although he was dissatisfied, he didn't complain. All was fair.

"Hmm..." Humming, Isaac felt his stomach slightly tremble, indicating that the great beast known as hunger was starting to yearn for appeasement.

Closing his eyes, Isaac thought for a while before opening his eyes. He then muttered to himself, "I should go eat outside. Eating bread for the last two days for breakfast, lunch, and dinner is not in the slightest nutritious and healthy."

Making up his mind, Isaac nodded and stood up. He closed the café and went up to the second floor of the building where he lives.

He then took a bath and changed his clothes, which, by the way, he bought from the system.

Coming out of his room in a different set of clothing, Isaac looked at himself in a mirror and nodded. He then commented to himself, "Not too bad."

Fontaine was a nation known for its art and fashion. As a citizen of the nation, it would only be natural for him to dress up his best every time he goes out.

He was wearing a simple but formal set of clothes. Ones that don't stand out too much. A simple black suit with a white long-sleeved shirt underneath complete with black trousers and a top hat.

A simple outfit for a gentleman.

He then brought out the cane he bought from the system. It was a wooden cane inlaid with silver that acted as the handle.

Carrying the cane, Isaac felt its heaviness and nodded to himself. "This is exactly what a cane should be."

"As a seer once said, a cane can be used for self-defense, show off status, and 'persuade' others as civilized people!" Isaac nodded to himself with these words.

With things complete, Isaac left and headed out.

...Not knowing this would be one of the most troublesome nights of his life. As it would be his first interaction with the divine.
