29 Ambush

The ambush will start in the morning. After finding out we did not rest. Jean sternly ordered us to rest.

"But isn't the best time to ambush them tonight?"

"No, we need you to be in your optimal condition. You may not feel tired, I know that myself, but you are mentally exhausted. Rest is needed."

Jean rebutted sternly. Her eyes were scary as she crossed her arms. She is definitely the type that doesn't take a no for an answer.

I'm agitated cuz I can't leave Eula. I'm worrying relentlessly.

Gritting my teeth, I relented. I nodded, I'm just an idiot who worries too much. This is the first time I loved someone very much. I don't know how to act.

"Noelle, can you escort our guest to a guest room."

Noelle bowed politely at Jean, and she then approached us.

Lumine replied crossing her arms as she pouted.

I walk into the room. "I'll take a shower first."

Lumine's cheeks clutched her chest as she felt her heartbeat. When Ronan confessed he liked her, she could not help but feel something light up.

She sits at the edge of the bed to wait for her turn to shower. She stares at the door with a blank look.

Noelle who was outside the door, remained still but if you looked closely, her cheeks were burning red. She just witnessed something incredible.

As a maid, she remained composed.

"What do you think about the two?"

Jean asked Lisa and Kaeya who remained in the office.

"Peculiar and Not malicious," Kaeya replies.

"That's a surprise coming from you Kaeya." Lisa placed her hand over her lips.

"What about you Lisa?"

"Jean, Those two are little cuties. They looked harmless, I see the conviction on one and calmness on the other. I would love to get to know more about the first one."

They don't even suspect Paimon. Well, Paimon is Paimon. There is no any other which makes her an anomaly, but people think of her as a new flying species.

"You're right. I've never thought that a woman from Lawrence, not to mention that unique sense of humor woman, Eula. How did that even happen?"

"Jean, are you curious? You know when a girl gets curious about a boy it's not far from budding a flower of love."

Lisa grinned as she teased Jean. Jean spit the tea she drank, she glared at Lisa.

"What are you talking about Lisa? Nonsense."

"Yes, Ms. Lisa, it's nonsense, Jean has someone in mind, isn't it Jean?"

This time, Kaeya teased Jean as he giggled. Thinking about a red-haired eccentric.

"Not you too Kaeya."

Jean released a sigh. She did not say anything. The two are right. She was curious about two people. It made her confused.

After coming out from the shower, Lumine is sitting on the bed while Paimon is sprawled on the bed, sleeping.

I lay on the bed. The bed is big, a three-person size bed. Looking at Paimon sleeping, this little champ has nothing to worry about.

Five heads nod. I hold Lumine's left hand, Amber on the right. Lisa held my left hand while she held Mika's on the other. Mika held Noelle's hand and Noelle held Amber.

Forming a circle.

Jean spoke calmly but she also worried. But she never showed it to anyone.

"Wow! This is amazing! We were in the HQ but now we are in the wilderness!"

Mika is under Eula's reconnaissance corps. He was left in Mondstadt to help the HQ, he is second against Eula's skills when it came to scouting.

Lumine already told us about where we would be teleported. The blockade is not far from the waypoint.

"There are four types of Abyss Mage. Cryo, Hydro, Pyro, and Electro respectively. Noelle, Lumine, and Ronan will be the vanguard. Mika should deal with the Electro Abyss mage shield. Amber will provide fire support to me to deal with the Cryo Abyss mage...."

Lisa laid out the plan.

They already know that I can use Hydro element or more like, Rizark already told them everything. After I awaken my golden finger, I found out I don't need vision. There was one time I left it with Lumine's space storage, but I could still use the element.

The Abyss Order, Hilichurls, and Mitachurls are confused about where the doll came from and approach the dancing Baron.
