8 Chapter 8: Wanmin Restaurant, Director, and a Vision

Somewhere in Liyue Harbor, A girl could be seen visibly bored as she states at the ear blue skies, sitting at one of the tables at a shop located in Liyue Harbor. The shop is called Wanmin Restaurant which is a local store for customers to dine in for a good and hearty meal.
"*Sigh* What a shame... I couldn't get another client" The girl said in a sad tone. I mean isn't it better to start planning your death ahead of time? It's not like it's a bad idea, right? After all, a person's life will eventually lead to death.
Thoughts about how to reel in new clients faded in her head as the girls plum blossom shaped irises glistened as she says aloud "I wonder if Qiqi is at Bubu Pharmacy!!! Maybe I can finally let her spirit rest ~hehe~" The customers and onlookers alike looked indifferent while some sighed towards her as they were somewhat used to her usual antics but at the same time they were weirded out as well
"Hu Tao, you really need to stop doing that!" my friend, Xiangling, (donning brown-and-gold leotard that comes with red ribbons and a bell on the back) yelled out to me to stop but even though I was already quite far from the shop I could still hear though I'll just ignore while going to Bubu Pharmacy to check on Qiqi and catch her
As a mischievous grin started to visibly show on Hu Tao's face sprinting towards her determined destination passing by many shops, civilians and travelers who were a bit startled excluding our purpled hair protagonist, Vache, who seemed to be experimenting as he checks his status in thought while heading to Wanmin Restaurant

'Ok, that should do it' Feeling satisfied Vache continues his walk till finally reaching Wanmin Restaurant
If I recall a bit (without the assistance of the {Archives}) the shop was considered a very well known restaurant because of a talented chef that even Wangshu Inn replicated her dishes and she's known by some from different corners of Teyvat for her cook. Not to mention she was my sub DPS. Ah good times good times
As Vache he was having his nostalgia fogging his mind, "Here you go one" "Ok 2 orders of Almond Tofu just wait for a few minutes" He could hear the voices of a man recording the orders and a girl carrying ordered foods to customers. Vache already knows that the man is Chef Mao, owner of Wanmin Restaurant and the girl is Xiangling, Chef Mao's daughter and one of the Liyue playable characters in the game (Genshin Impact).
"Um hello, you seem to be working here... does this place sell spicy food?" I asked Xiangling politely as she paused for a while as she gave me the look that I look similar to someone she knows before finally responding "Welcome to Wanmin Restaurant and yes we do sell spicy foods you can check the flyer that displays them" Xiangling then proceeded to continue her work
I then started to think about what to eat for now and while I was choosing it made me realize that I can read the text as the language of the people I met. It's safe to assume that this is a default feature the system could do so I don't have a hard time in Teyvat. If that's the case then I got to say thank you to Yaoshi next time we meet if not then... oh well let's think about that later after all I really am craving for something spicy.
Hmm there are a lot of foods that I always see in Genshin. There's matsutake meat rolls, adeptus temptation and others. However I don't really care about these delicacies as I'm more interested in one of the many foods that got my interest when I was playing Genshin Impact. Making up my mind I went to the reception and gave my order to Chef Mao "I'll have wanmin restaurant's boiled fish" I said in a sincere tone.
I really am interested, Xiangling's rendition of black back perch stew. Her signature dish in the game if I must say.
"Oh sure that would be 5,650 mora" I took out my pouch of mora and gave it to her as dallied away to the kitchen making my order. While waiting I ended up hearing from Sel of a notification being sent out just now. Opening the black holographic interface that's projected by the system to only be seen by Vache.

*Thud* Vache slammed his head on to the table which startled some costumers, Xiangling and Chef Mao
"Is everything okay?" Xiangling asked with a worried voice that made Vache state "I'm alright. I just remembered something embarrassing"
"Oh, then please just don't do that again you made my friend startled from the sudden thud" She said her concern as she moves her attention towards Guoba, an orange stuffed animal like bear, who stumbled due to Vache's actions.
Guoba shrugs it off and just goes back to what he's doing 'Cute' Vache said internally as he saw the bear humming happily.
'Now then let's see' Vache said to himself enthusiastically as he checked his {Inventory}

Seeing this Vache started to do a calming ritual *Inhale* *Exhale* before finally screaming inwardly 'I KNEW IT!
What's a Vision? Well in Genshin Impact these are items bestow by the gods to people of Teyvat who meet particular requirements. Giving the chosen few control over a certain element based on their given Vision.
It makes sense that he wouldn't get one through normal means as he's an 'outsider' but he was given a vision by Yaoshi which made him hope and think he can use a vision in this world but he has doubt due to his knowledge of gaining a vision and he was right on the money
'Oh well it's already good that I met Qiqi and got to live again by chance so I'll just think about this later' Vache concluded to himself as he waits for his meal patiently not knowing that his Vision is a customized one made by the Aeon of #@$&@.
