2 Chapter 2: Yaoshi, Aeons and What Now?

Now you may be wondering 'Who is Yaoshi?' Well she's an Aeon and now you might have this follow up question 'What is an Aeon?'

In Honkai Star Rail, There exist 18 concepts embodied by 18 known beings that transcend all life in the universe through these 18 concepts. They're known to everyone in the HSR universe as Aeons.

In the game there was only a small info around 7 Aeons including her mentioned in the "Simulated Universe"(A game system like machine that lets you fight virtually simulated enemies and as well as extract information of the mysteries of the universe or so what Herta says) Yaoshi is an Aeon representing the Abundance who is also the nurturer of lives, the god of eternal paradise. Their desire/objective is to ensure the perpetual existence of life.

She is an Aeon who answers all prayers and cannot bear to see death and the pains of illness.

If I think about it guess that's why I met her now there is other information about her and the rest of the Aeons but I can't remember properly due to my predicament (chapter 1 ending). And to think I would meet that Yaoshi in the afterlife or something like that

"Oh that's what you mean hahahaha!!!" Yaoshi laughed out loud and fell to the ground giggling as she realized what I meant just now (chapter 1). She then stands back up realizing that I'm still here covering my embarrassed face so she snapped me out of my dazed state

"*Fake Cough* You're right but wrong at the same time" as she was still calming down to explain "I was originally female but the moment I became an Aeon my gender became neutral so I can be male or female when I choose to be." Yaoshi expressed sorrow as smiles wryly finishing the sentence

I didn't think much since it wasn't my problem so I just switched the topic "Then I have questions I'm curious about can you answer them please" not hesitating in asking Yaoshi since this opportunity never comes so easily

As I look with anticipation "Sure what do you want to know?" she complied with a serene and polite tone different from the cheerful-cute tone she displayed minutes ago "Where am I?"

It was bugging me since I saw absolutely nothing but chairs that Yaoshi and I were sitting on and a table. The surrounding looks to be a garden that looks like they were drawings that came from a black and white landscape painting which really boggle my mind no matter how I think about it.

"Oh just like I mentioned earlier, this is my domain at least one of many domains I have." Yaoshi started to elaborate further "We are in a space that represents at the very least one of my many thoughts of a tranquil and calming place" smiling as she looks at me with a calm and graceful demeanor

"That's interesting" saying it with an intrigued face as it was as if it was similar to Genshin Impact or Jujutsu Kaisen's domains I then asked another question "So how are Aeons born?" Before I died, I remembered that there were no prior details on how Aeon along with their "Path" was born.

The closest hint to at the time answering my curiosity was the founder of the Genius Society, Zander One Kuwabara, who was speculated to have created an astral computer that became the Aeon representing "Erudition"

'But I haven't seen more info about it in the game and I will have no way of knowing the truth because I'm maybe already 6 ft below the earth' I thought to myself

Casting that aside I looked at Yaoshi who seemed to show a bit of hesitation towards my question but decided to answer "Well there----------" I couldn't hear anything as I could feel my head splitting in agony as if it was being hit by needles

As I was panting from the tremendous amount of pain in my temples Yaoshi looks at me with a sad look worrying about what's happening "As expected it seems you can't hear it after all" finishing *sigh*" she then reached her arm out to caress my head

The pain suddenly started to disappear as she patted my head 'It feels nice' I thought to myself while the splitting head ache dispersed completely

"Why couldn't I hear what you said?" I asked with an exhausted gaze as I was still trying to calm down "Oh right I'm sorry I forgot that that kind of information can only be heard if you're strong"

"I see" I massage my forehead as I start to finally calm down "Then my last question" I look at Yaoshi who looks at me calmly. Anticipating what I'm going to say...

"What now?" the moment I said those words it looked to me that she knew what I meant. Yaoshi looks at me as her calm and formal demeanor switches into a friendly one "*cough* Because you never experienced the world as you wanted"

"Wait!?" I stood up while slamming both my arms simultaneously at the table as I interrupted what she was saying 'Am I getting that chance that I see in those novels, anime, and other forms of entertainment because it feels like I am'

I was ecstatic at what I think she's trying to say as my eyes widened and my lips curled up into a smile "Are you going to Isekai me into a world of my choosing!?" as I said that I set my gaze on to Yaoshi even more enthusiastic than ever

Yaoshi laughed a bit as she saw me looking delighted "Yes"

'Hell yeah!!!!' I thought to myself while Yaoshi stated "You will also gain cheats to survive in that world but there are conditions you need to be aware of"

"What's the condition?" I asked her as I was mentally sweating on the silence that ensued for about 3 minutes until Yaoshi answered "Oh don't worry, the conditions are very simple one is that you enjoy your new life and then the second is to possess a body of my choosing"

'Not gonna lie when I heard there're conditions I was concerned about since there is a price for something as great as cheats and get Isekaid'

I shook my head slightly to snap out of my thoughts and proceeded to ask Yaoshi "Who am I possessing anyway?" I saw her like look a bit ticked a bit ticked of after asking. 'She's not mad at me right? right?!' I profusely start to sweat from my overthinking head

She then replied "You were supposed to be possessing any extra from any world of your choosing but it's decided that you'll be possessing Vache"

"I see wait what!?" I screamed once more in front of an Aeon this time out of disbelief as I scream internally 'Is she telling me I'm going to possess that bastard brother of Natasha!?"
