79 Interlude-Avalon

After hanging up the call, Rex looked over to his sisters. It will take a while for father and the rest of the carrot cards to arrive so he should make the most of the time he has right now, considering that their father will probably be incredibly pissed if when they prank him.

Rex could feel shivers down his spine when he remembered his father's two most dangerous weapons [La Chancla] and [The Belt of Chaos]. They wouldn't kill you unlike the rest of Meliodas's arsenal but they were the scariest as they hurt even more than getting blasted into oblivion but him.

"So Brunhilde, how's Aizen doing?" Asked Rex, trying to steer clear of negative thoughts.

"He's been doing fine. You should already know that he takes his job as Hogwarts headmaster very seriously" she replied, her mind drifted to the memory of the brown haired man In robes.

"Um... whose Aizen?" Asked Mitsuri.

It's been some of the most confusing hours of her life, from ground breaking secrets being revealed to finding out about siblings she didn't even know of.

"He's our brother, and the bearer of [The Moon] Tarot card" Brunhilde happily answered their questions.

"Another sibling?" Asuna said with a sigh. Just how many secret family members did they have?

"Yes, he is currently in Avalon as the headmaster of Hogwarts" Answered Rex this time as he siped on his tea.

"Avalon?" This time Violet was confused, she's never heard of a place called like that, and she's read a lot of books containing Teyvats geography.

Brunhilde and Rex gave eachother a quick glance, Brunhilde nodded as she gave him permission to tell them about it.

"Avalon isn't supposed to be known by anyone except a select few" Rex's words intrigued the tree girls, especially Asuna and Violet.

"Avalon was and still is an underground sanctuary created by father thousands of years ago, how or why we didn't know until the cataclysm happened. Thanks to that we were able to relocate many adepti and magical beings there, saving their races from extinction" explained Rex with a hint of nostalgia.

Avalon, the huge underground city. The underground part might make it sound dirty and rough but don't be fooled.

It was a beautiful place, from the moment Rex and the other found it they knew that it had a purpose. A great one at that.

"Cool!" Said Mitsuri with shining eyes, the other two nodded as they were thinking the same thing

"Avalon is divided into eight sections, the first one is a giant island that is surrounded by a lake. Father's personal castle is there obviously. Then it's the Shīdoragon section which is based of Inazumian culture, The third is the León Gris section which is based of Natlan culture, the fourth is the Wolkenfuchs that Is based off Mondstat, the fifth is the mook chhipakalee which is based of Sumerian culture, the sixth is the Měi hóu wáng that is based off Liyue culture, seventh is the fée rose section that is based off Fontainian culture, and finally the Snezhnyy zhuravl' that is based off Snezhnaya" Rex finished his explanation, letting the info sink into the minds of the three girls.

The names might be weird but that's how father named them, infact they didn't even know what the names meant untill they discovered some ancient books left by Meliodas which contained some ancient and rare languages, an example being Japanese.

"I see, but what's Hogwarts?" She heard that their supposed brother was the head master of the place.

"It's a school located in fée rose, it's a school that teaches all on how to controll and better their powers, normal classes included of course like history and mathematics. Aizen has been the headmaster of the school for many years as that's the duty father left him" Once again a wave of nostalgia hit Rex like a truck, the amount of secrets they had uncovered about their father, comrade, and teacher.

Some things they would have rather not known and some that were incredibly vital.

"Can we go?" Underground and secret city? Check. School for adepti? Check. Overpowered and influential siblings? Check.

The place was screaming secrets to be uncovered, especially about their father since she made the place.

Rex and Brunhilde winced at her question "yes but after father arrives" answered Brunhilde.

As the head Valkyrie, the peace keepers of Avalon. She has a duty to protect the place and it's people.

She usually wouldn't let outsiders but the girls are family, and family can enter.

The three girls nodded as they became exited to visit the place.

"Hmmm are you sure, Brunhilde?" Suddenly asked Rex.

"What? Are you afraid of the Heavenly Will?" She said in a mocking tone.

"...well no but I'd rather not make problems" The reason the place is a secret was because of the Heavenly Will in the first place.

But it was also the reason why many of their siblings and family members weren't sealed or nerfed by the Heavenly Will.

"I'm sure she'll be fine with it, if she has any problems than she can take it up with father" she scofed mockingly.

The one and only person that has been able to keep the Heavenly Will in check was Meliodas himself, infact they were quite close back then.

If he found out that she hurt one of their family members for finding out about Avalon, she has no doubt that their father her will hunt he drown to the ends of the planet.

Well she wasn't really worried to begin with as she's pretty gullible despite being the head honcho.

Although the only person that has ever been able to sway or trick her was Meliodas himself.

And that wasn't the worse of what he did to her.

The manipulation was some of the dirtiest they had ever seen, especially on that level.

If only the world knew that the reason for the Archon war was Meliodas himself.
