33 Ch 29-Die! Die! Die! (Guess the reference)
As we both got ready once again I rushed out to him quickly with my sword though this time I was so fast that he could barely react

Jumping back Dan Hang felt something dripping down his cheek. Touching it he could see something red staining his fingers.
'Blood?' Dan Hang said in surprise. But once he was distracted Meliodas once again disappeared and reappeared in front of him quickly though this time.
*Boom*
As Meliodas was about to attack Dan Hang released some more of his strength sending Meliodas flying back from the sudden burst.
"Seems like going 5% won't do me any good with your speed so I'm going to go 20% now if you don't mind" Dan Hang said
"It's fine, can't let my practice dummy go down this fast right!" Meliodas said with a grin.
Dan Hang's mouth twitched hearing this but didn't mind it as he made a water made of sword and rushed at Meliodas.
*Clang*
Finally reaching each other they clashed swords as both swung their weapons at incredible speed though Meliodas was still above Dan Hang even though he released his power to 20% just showing how fast Meliodas had become.
"<The Lord's Measure>" said Meliodas as back and red lines appeared midair in-between them. Dan Heng seeing them felt a bad feeling about them and backed off as Meliodas swung his sword activating all the lines cutting everything that was between them and barely missing Dan Hang.
Seeing the aftereffects of the attack Dan Hang started to sweat a bit in worry. Although he was only at 20% right now most people and Adepti wouldn't even be able to start dreaming of fighting him like this as most of the ones that can are either his close friends or died in the civil or curse war.
Not giving Dan Hang a chance, Meliodas rushed toward him
<Heavens cloud> said Meliodas as he stiked Dan Hang's sword activating the ability as his speed increased in an instant. Disappearing Dan Hang panicked and raised his power to 25% and was able to see through the first attack barely blocking it.

Blocking the seven quick sword strikes from Meliodas Dan Hang readied his stance once again but this time Meliodas was the one that backed off.
"Dam your reflexes are crazy to be able to react to his speed!" Said Meliodas with a smile
Well after you did that move earlier I had to move up to 25% so be proud" Dan Hang said.
"Really? Well if that's the case then ready yourself because I'm going to try something new." Saying those words he unsummoned Zantetsuken and started to focus his dark energy on both his palms. As he did weird-looking weapons that Dan Hang had never seen before materialized in Meliodase's hands.
On the other side, we're Jingliu and YungXing we're watching.
"Hm, that did Meliodas call those things... a yes! guns though they look a bit bigger." Said Jingliu in realization.
"Gun?" Said Yingxin in confusion
"Yes a Gun, it's a weapon Meliodas has, it allows you to shoot out small projectiles at fast speed like a crossbow but easier to reload and more compact," said Jingliu earning a nod from YingXing
Back to Meliodas and Dan Hang
Seeing the new weapons Meliodas made Dan Hang couldn't help but ask "Now what would those be?"
The grinning Meliodas said "These are guns otherwise known as [The Reapers] as their true name"
Hearing this Dan Heng went into thought at the same time Meliodas was happy as he saw the notification in front of him.

Ability: The reaper is a pair of 12 gauge one-handed shotguns. They can infinitely reappear as long as you throw away the old ones and pull new ones from a place nobody can see in other words infinite dual shotguns. The ones you throw away will disappear. Also, have the skill [Death Domain] in which any living being with a semi-range can be detected from any angle allowing more accurate shots.]
The grinning Meliodas said, "Get ready!" Earning a nod from Dan Hang.
Meliodas started channeling the dark energy around him creating some sort of dark fog around him until he released it all around him making Dan Hang raise a shield of water though it was in vain as it got past it and Dan Hang got trapped in the smoke. He tried detecting any living being in the vicinity but for some reason, his outside senses were blocked, and walking through the fog felt like walking through water.
Dan Feng created a bunch of water Spears sending it in a random direction until he heard behind him.
"Boo," said Meliodas
Turning around he saw Meliodas a few feet away from him. Seeing this he created more water Spears and sent them although this time
"<Death Blossom>" said Meliodas as he started to spin in the fog shooting all the water Spears accurately until the shots started to come towards Dan Hang himself.
Trying to dodge became harder as the thick black fog that Meliodas had made slowed him down.
Meliodas stopped spinning and threw away his Guns making Dan Feng confused until he reached into his coat and pulled out two new ones making Dan Feng surprised.
'???... I see so he throws away the old ones and brings out new ones'
He rushed at him with a sword made out of water as Meliodas shot at him. Though Dan Fang was fast enough to dodge. He increased his speed and managed to get behind him.
luckily Meliodas had his [Death Domain] from his Reaper shotguns allowing him to see where Dan Feng was even without seeing him.
Without looking Meliodas pointed his shotgun over his shoulder surprising Dan Feng and shot at him at the last minute he created a shield of water.
Blocking the shots Dan Feng backed off.
"I am surprised you noticed me from that angle. How did you do it?" Dan Feng asked with curiosity. He was sure it wasn't some sixth sense or instinct.
Snickering at him Meliodas said "Like I'm going to tell you"
*Bang*

Meliodas slowly started to shoot at Dan Feng while walking towards him. Dan Feng quickly created a fall of water to black the shots.
"Your attacks won't get through so do you keep going" asked Dam Heng in curiosity.
"To do this," said Meliodas as he unsummoned his Reapers and summoned Gungnir.

Activating his skill once Dan Feng was within range he started spinning it fashionably as Dan Feng suddenly got sucked in without any chance to oppose it.
Finally, within Meliodases range he stopped spinning the spear and stabbed at him though Dan Fang managed to lower himself quickly managing to dodge the thrust.
After getting past the thrust he punched at Meliodas though he managed to <Semi-Prime > his arm fast enough covering it in dark armor.

Meliodas got punched and sent back flying though he managed to stabilize himself mid-rolling on the ground. Getting up he could feel the bruise and broken bones he received from the punch and could feel that even with the Semi-Prime he did last minute, barely protected him from that punch.
"Dam that Hurt" Meliodas said shaking his arm around from the pain jokingly earning a chuckle from Dan Feng.
"Alright I've seen enough though at first I only wanted to test your dragon powers but now I'm sure that it's more than just that," he said
Nodding at his word we went down down back to the Gazebo at the garden.
We all sat down as the three persons in front of me waited for an explanation.

Looking at the three people I started to feel nervous. Although I don't think I owe them any sort of explanation and don't trust them to that point yet. I'm sure that Jingliu and Dan Feng already noticed some sort of change in my soul. The only person that I somewhat trust here is Jingliu and I don't want them to cut my head off because of my dark power claiming it to be some sort of ancient evil. It might be a long stretch for it but better be safe than sorry.
If before my soul was a bright light now it was a bright light swirling around with darkness it kind of looked like a Yingyang symbol or at least what I could sense It looked like.
"Well remember that you said that my strength is somewhat sealed in my soul," I said to Dan Feng
"Yes, your body can't take the full force of your soul so it subconsciously holds you back from using your power until your body can take it, at least from what I have observed so far." Said Dan Feng nodding at my words.
"Well you're right about that my body is slowly adapting so that I can use my powers or more like my multiple powers," I said making them surprised.
"So that Dark power of yours came from the same place as your light powers," said Jingliu trying to confirm her thoughts.
"Yes, they came from me or rather my soul" Saying those words I used light manipulation to create mini projections of the Eight Eikons, Bahamut, Odin, Ramuh, Titan, Garuda, Shiva, Phoenix, and Infrit.
Looking at them they were all surprised at the sudden projections I made. though I did change Garuda and Shiva to look more masculine.
"And what would these be" asked Dan Hang as his eyes didn't leave the projection of Bahamut.
"They are the manifestations of my power called Eikons. The First one that looks like a dragon is called Bahamut the Warden of Light, the Man in dark armor riding a horse is named Odin the Warden of Darkness, the old man with the staff is called Ramuh the Warden of Lightning, the green Harpy looking one is called Garuda the warden of wind, the floating man in blue is called Shiva the Warden of Ice, The giant covered in stone is called Titan the warden of earth, the Phoneix bird in red is called Phoenix the Warden of fire and the last one is Infrit the infernal Eikon."
Hearing my explanation they went into deep thought.
"So in that case the the light powers and Dragon wings should be the power and manifestations of Bahamut" asked Jingliu.
"Yup it is" I answered back
During our fight it seems like you gained Odin power, I also noticed that when I punched your arm, you made some sort of dark armor around your arm. I'm guessing that was you manifesting Odin in the projection." Asked Dan Feng.
"Yes, I'm able to manifest just like in these projections. Though Not at the stage that I can turn fully like this. At most, I can make the dragon's wings and the dark armor called Semi-priming and fully turning us called priming." I explained.
After explaining a few things about the power except for things related to the system or about my origins they stopped asking more. They did ask about my parents and origins but I just said that they died a long time ago hence the reason that I traveled and I probably got the power somewhere along the line throughout my travels. Jingliu and the others believed me as I had already told Jingliu that I was a sort of treasure hunter looking for cool items to collect and I got it from some item I found, so that makes the perfect excuse for me.

After our little talk me and Jingliu returned home. Arriving at my room I changed my clothes into pajamas though usually I would sleep in my underwear but I'm I. Another person's home so I thought it would be rude to sleep like that. I lay down as it was a tiring day for me. Scratch that it has been one of the most tiring weeks for me ever since I reincarnated.
Suddenly the system gave me a notice

Looking at the rewards I got I couldn't be happier! Especially at the fact of getting Barnabas Sword style since it means that it will be very compatible with Odin, I also got the Nimbus Cloud though I don't think I will use it much since I like using my dragon wings, and then Sea dragons blessing it seems like it buff the total power of water-based abilities, attacks, and spells.

Dam these are good, especially the guns. Although I do have [Judgement of Shamash], I think that using them for every occasion is kind of overkill and now I have a long-range sniper, scout rifle, and, bow in which I'm happy for because of the exotic perks they have especially [Wish-Ender] since it allows you to see through walls and shoot them through it and has high price power.
It also seems like I got the [Night Sky Blade]. now I have the trios sword from SAO Alizilization, [Blue Rose Sword], [Fragrant Olive Sword], and finally [Night Sky Sword].
I have to say that I'm surprised that it is ranked (Ex) but I also understand why. if the sword were perhaps to absorb some sort of higher energy like some god's divinity, wouldn't that make the sword a god itself in some sense, if I look at it that way then I understand why it is (Ex) Rank it isn't (Ex) because of its strength but because of its endless possibilities.
But what I'm really excited about are the vehicles. The sparrow is incredible as it is every man's dream to have a floating bike like in Star Wars though the nimbus cloud could go faster, but it just isn't the same as it would feel with the Sparrow. it is the same with the spaceship because it means that I can travel to space now. I could probably go out to space just like Bahamut did in the game but I don't think I would go very far as I would with the spaceship.
I'm also curious about the Disufiora Egg, just seeing its description I can tell that it lives up to its calamity class Elder Dragon title. And I also have the other dragon egg in my inventory that I found when I first got here so it seems like I'll be a dragon daddy this time around lol.
Now last but not least the [Ghost] I know what they are but... I don't know how they will react once they find out that the traveler doesn't exist here. I'm not sure if it'll self-destruct, leave, or choose me as a guardian so fingers crossed.
Putting everything into my inventory I activate the Ghost that I got. As I did a white sheled orb appeared in front of me. Looking around in confusion it asked
[Where am I, I can't sense the traveler!] It said in panic as it seemed to scan the room until it noticed me.
[Now who might you be] he asked in a robotic voice.
"Hey there, the name is Meliodas and I am the one that summoned you" I answered back.
[Summoned...me?] He asked in confusion.
"Yes summoned, you have already scanned the room so I'm sure that the environment and energy are something ion Wich you have never seen before. In other words you are not In Your world where the traveler resides but in mine where none of that exists" I answered back
Hearing my words it went into deep thought [...I see, and what was your purpose for your 'summon'] he asked with curiosity. Although he seemed worried at first and the fact that no light from the traveler was present. The fact that other worlds exist seems to have exited him.
"I have an ability called Gacha, it allows me to randomly summon an ability or items from other universes at random times. And it seems like this time I got you" I answered back.
After hearing this he asked a lot of questions from where we were to what existed, power levels, species, and everything he could think of, and of course whatever I could answer with my own knowledge.
After a while of back and forward questions and answers he asked his last question [then if that's the case then... would you like to become a guardian, my 'chosen'. Although I know I do find the fact that the traveler is not here unsettling... exploring this new world sounds interesting! And it's not like I have any reason to go back now since my purpose is to find my 'chosen' and to my surprise we are compatible]
Hearing his words a smile spread across my face "Welcome aboard partner" I said
Hearing this the gist started shining as it's light started to enter me. As I thought the light went to my soul connecting me with him until true death due us apart.
After the process finished I could already feel the increase of strength that the light gave me.
[Although I can't revive you because the traveler light doesn't reach here and you can't use any powers until. You come into close contact with the light, my other abilities are at your disposal Guardian]
"Meliodas, call me Meliodas Pendragon. What's your name?"
[Name? usually, guardians don't give us names and just call us ghosts]
"If that's the case then would you like one" I asked.
Hearing this the floating sphere shook in excitement [if you would be so kind then I would like for you to give me one]
Thinking for a bit a name came to mind that fit perfectly. Smart that is close to genius, high adaptability to any situation, and can scan through things and see beyond like clairvoyance. And the fact that he is going to be my partner and supporter makes the name even better.
"Then from now on your name will be Merlin Pendragon, I am also giving you my last name since we are going to be together for a long time from now on like family"
Hearing his new name Merlin could only mumle his name in excitement [...Merlin?...Merlin!... yes Merlin, from now on my name will be Merlin Pendragon!!]
[Thank you Meliodas... for Ghost like me, we have traveled long and wide to find our chosen some even give in to despair and give up. So I'm glad that I met you] he said with a sincere tone in his voice.
Smiling at him I said "I'm also glad that I met you Merlin and I also hope that we go through many great adventures together"
We kept talking for a while until it got really late and got tired. As he disappeared back inside me I went to sleep with a happy face knowing that I had made a very useful and very good friend today.
