12 Vision Twins?

A bright Wednesday morning. The sky had a few clouds, thus tainting the entirety of Mondstadt with sunlight.

It was also at this moment that Albert came out of the bathroom. He had a towel on him that he just used to dry himself.

After drying himself completely, he looked left the bathroom and went to his bedroom.

He then saw his bed— which had the Geo vision he supposedly got.

'No matter how I think about it, it's still quite unbelievable.' He sighed. 'Am I ambitious? Other than wanting to strengthen myself for the time the traveler comes, then no.'

It was true.

A lot of things from history have perfectly aligned to the very day the traveler woke up.

Why is it that the Abyss order wanted to make a move only when the traveler woke up? Or perhaps why the Tsaritsa would suddenly start initiating her plans— when again— the traveler woke up?

It was all just too coincidental.

It was as if fate waited for the very day when everything is set and only needs one more piece of the puzzle— the traveler.

Sighing, Albert walked to his bed and grabbed the vision. 'No matter how I look at it, this is the perfect power for me and my fake identities...'

Thinking of this, he merely shook his head and decided to dress up. He then looked at the clock on the wall. 'There's still twenty minutes before my shift starts... I better get ready.'

After thinking this, he dropped the Geo vision back down and went to put on some clothes.

At Good Hunter.

Wearing the uniform given by the establishment, Albert walked towards Good Hunter.

He then saw Sara at the front of the restaurant at her post. "Good morning Sara."

Sara, who was also a waiter, saw Albert and her eyes perked up. "Oh, Albert you're here. Miss Lenny told me to give this to you."

She then took out a paper and gave it to him.

"Where's Miss Lenny?" Albert curiously asked before taking the paper.

Sara shrugged. "She said she was gonna go to Springvale to meet Mister Draff to talk about something."

"Is that so..." Albert muttered before opening the letter.

[If you're reading this, then that means you're already here! That great! I gave a task for you. Someone from the Knights of Favonius ordered around twenty servings of Fisherman's toast yesterday that needs to be delivered today. You should already know where I'm going with this, right? Ehe]

Reading the letter, Albert couldn't help but scoff. 'That's Miss Lenny, alright.'

He then looked at where he was delivering it to. A wry smile then appeared on his face. 'Favonius Headquarters... I'm going back there already?'

Folding the paper, he then asked Sara. "Are there any newly-cooked Fisherman's Toast?"

"Yeah, Miss Lenny along with Matthew already prepared them in the kitchen." Sara nodded.

"Alright, I'm off to deliver them." Albert said before putting the folded paper into his pocket.

"Okay." Sara replied. However, she then noticed something hanging on Albert's shirt. Her eyes then widened. "Wait... Is that?!"

"A Geo Vision?!" She couldn't help but say it out loud. "Albert, you got a vision?!"

"Oh?" Albert stopped and looked at his vision. He then picked it up and a gold chain connecting to it followed. "Yeah, I kinda did. It appeared beside me this morning."

"Wow, that's unbelievable!" Sara said. "Not many people could get a vision... With this, you could quit your job here and easily be a Knight!"

It was true. Those who wield visions are easily accepted into the Knights of Favonius.

"Although that is indeed true..." Albert sighed. "I'm quite content here. Moreover, someone needs to deliver some food here, right?"

"Haha, you're right." Sara chuckled. "With you delivering the food, we don't have to put in a commission to the adventurer's guild..."

Albert nodded with a satisfied smile before entering the restaurant.

On the training ground beside the Favonius HQ, a lone figure was busy practicing her sword.

"Hup!" She grunted as she thrust her sword upward.

Wherever her sword thrusts, Dandelions would follow.

Of course, this woman is none other than the Dandelion Knight, Jean.

Just this morning, she had obtained a vision. An Anemo vision, to be precise. It lets her have the ability to manipulate the wind.

Shortly after getting the vision, she reported it to her mother and Varka, for which, she was praised for.

After being praised, Jean's position within the Knights has been even more solidified. Furthermore, her role as Varka's assistant got approved on the same morning.

Now, she was practicing her sword with her vision.

Sitting on a wooden bench, she dried the sweat off her face with a towel and drank some water. 'Elemental manipulation is exhausting...'

'It not only needs me to gather up elemental energy but also manipulate it.' She thought. 'But if I want to be efficient with both sword and vision, I need to keep training.'

Thinking of this, she decided to stop her training and leave the training grounds.

On her way out, she noticed someone.

He was a tall man with blonde hair wearing some kind of uniform. On his hands were twenty red boxes stacked upon each other held by a red ribbon.

Jean looked closer and found that he had an athletic body, judging from his movement and muscles. She then saw a Geo vision hanging from a pocket.

'A geo vision wielder? Why have I not seen him before?' Jean thought.

She had a list of interesting people that she thought may prove of great use for the Knights of Favonius. This includes people that have a vision.

'Strange... Did he recently obtain a vision too?' She curiously thought.

She then observed him more from far away and saw that he was looking at a piece of paper with a confused look on his face.

'Does he need directions?' Thinking of this, Jean decided to approach him.

"Excuse me, do you need any help?" She waved her hand and said with a voice loud enough for him to hear.

Albert, who was having trouble with the instructions written on the paper, heard Jean and turned his head. 'It's Jean... She won't suspect me of anything, right? Oh, wait no, I stalked her little sister in the past— of course she would have negative ideas about me.'

'Just act normal.' He internally sighed. Turning to her, he nodded. "Uhh... Yes, actually. We received some orders from the Knights and am here to deliver them."

"The problem is... This." He handed the paper out.

Jean took the paper and looked at it. When she saw it, she almost instantaneously knew who it was. 'This...'

"I see." She sighed. "It seems like Miss Alice's daughter has caused you a bit of trouble."

'Alice's daughter?' Albert thought. He then instantly recognized and realized who it was. 'Oh... Klee.'

'That explains the scribbles.'

"And... It also seems that the new member of the Alchemy department, Albedo, wrote the instructions." Jean added with a wry smile.

'...So that explains the complex instructions.' Albert felt like sighing hard right now.

"Umm..." Albert signaled to Jean about the orders on his hand.

Jean saw this and she chuckled. "Haha, want me to escort you?"

"Me? How could I eve—" Albert tried to refuse but was stopped midway.

"It's fine." Jean interrupted him. "Plus, I'd like to talk to you as we walk, is that fine?"

"...Yes." Albert replied. 'Just act normal... A normal person doesn't deny the Dandelion Knight's sincere request, right? ...Right?'

Hearing Albert's reply, Jean extended her hand out. "My name is Jean. And you are?"

Albert took her hand. "Albert."

"Albert?" Jean muttered. 'Where have I heard that name before...'

She then remembered her little sister— Barbara. Her little sister, despite being quite young, already rose to the position of a Deaconess. She was truly a talented individual in Jean's eyes.

Just recently, she told Jean that the person that always comes to her concert lost his memories.

He was also apparently her number 1 fan.

Thinking of this, Jean then looked at Albert. "Albert... Do you know Barbara?"

Albert hummed. "I do? Well, it's quite complicated."

"How so?" Jean insisted.

"Well... Recently I got into an accident which resulted in me losing a part of my memories." Albert explained his 'situation'.

"You'll never know my surprise when I found out that I was a die-hard fan..." Albert shook his head in amusement.

'So he really did lose his memories.' Jean thought. She then looked at his Geo vision. "Then, how about your vision? I heard you didn't have one in the past."

Albert nodded with a smile. "Yes, in fact, I just got it this morning."

"Oh, really?" Jean was surprised. She then took out her Anemo Vision. "What a coincidence, I just got mine this morning too."

"Really?" Albert curiously asked. 'I was sure she would receive her vision sometime after assisting Varka to eliminate some Abyss Monsters...'

"Then... That makes us vision twins, right? Since we got a vision on the same day..." Albert chuckled. "Haha, What am I saying... How ludicrous."

"Vision twins, huh? It seems like it. I like that term." However, Jean seems to find it amusing and agreed with a smile.

And so, the two continued talking while Jean guided Albert to the alchemy department where Albedo was.
