50 The Prinzessin's reading

Fischl, as a rising star in the adventurer's guild and a great investigator, naturally has decent personal funds. As such, she was able to purchase the JoJo Manga without any worry about her finance. Well, Oz is the one that manages her money but you get the point.

"Hmp, if it be true that thy book surpasses of those of mine books stored in the sacred chambers of the guardians of this town where the rich knowledge of those of great elders passed down, then mine trust shall be inlaid in the depths of thou soul!" Fischl said with a pose of pride.

"Let's see if your books are better than those in the Favonius library, and if they are, I shall continue buying them, is what Mein Fräulein meant." Oz explained.

'You're so helpful Oz...' Igarashi secretly thought. Having Oz as a translator for Fischl's chuuni lines is Celestia's blessing to this land.

After handing her the book, Igarashi offered her if she wanted to sit down and read it in his shop. "Would you like to read it here?"

However, his question was a mistake. The author of this FanFic is already suffering from researching online for the right Chuunibyō lines for Fischl, but he just had to ask.

"Thou best not doubt of mine ability to comprehend the texts inlaid by the late generation of our farthest ancestors. For I, Fischl, have been analyzing such books since the dawn of my existence. As such, comprehending such literature whilst doing eminent tasks given by the higher echelons is excellent compatibility for this Prinzessin."

"Mein Fräulein means, I can read the book while doing my job. No thank you."

Igarashi just kept his smile the whole time and just slightly nodded. "Well then, if... If thou wishes for such event, then mine expectations require for the Prinzessin to be met."

'Oh God...' Igarashi thought. He wanted to get along with Fischl by spewing some lines he swore not to say again when he was fourteen years old. Back in those days, he was your average cringe weeb with the infamous Chuunibyō Syndrome. But, with maturity and a bit of puberty, he moved on from that phase fairly quickly and decided that such a dark past must not be known by anyone.

'That was a mistake... I shouldn't have said that...' He thought, with the redness of embarrassment slightly appearing on his face.

While Igarashi was cringing, Fischl was a bit surprised by what she heard. Of course, Oz, the translator, was also amazed that there was someone else that understands and speaks the same as Fischl.

'This... This...!' Fischl, for the first time, looked at the cringing Igarashi with gleaming eyes. 'After all these years... Finally!'

'I have found 'My people'!' She happily thought.

She was the greatest cosplayer in Mondstadt. In fact, her name isn't even Fischl, it's a name she uses from her favorite book called 'Flowers for Princess Fischl'. She loved that book so much, that she decided to make it her personality!

She had not seen anyone like her in Mondstadt before. Unlike them, she likes to cosplay her favorite character and other personality, Fischl. As such, when she heard Igarashi's speech coupled with the type of book he was selling, she immediately got amazed.

With a smirk, she looked at him and thought: 'From what I see, he's still at the denying stage... Fret not, I shall lead you to the path that you are unwilling to uncover.'

She truly believes that Igarashi is someone like her, but is struggling to accept it.

She then asked for Igarashi's name. "It seems that thou possess the same heart of desire as this Prinzessin. Very well! State your inclined name given by your parental connections."

"Can I ask for your name? Is what Mein Fräulein is trying to say."

Hearing her, Igarashi slightly raised his head and just said: "Amon. Just call me Amon."

He was not saying any more Chuuni lines. He had learned his lesson. After saying his name, he went back to rethink his life choices.

Fischl then left the store with her book, smiling, as she leaves behind the still cringing Igarashi.

"Thou best not worry, for thou shall find salvation sooner or later." She said with a pose as she left. Surprisingly, Oz did not translate it.

"???"

Meanwhile, Igarashi was a bit confused by what she said. 'Huh?'

* * *

Meanwhile, outside Mondstadt, Fischl was walking towards Wolvendom. It is part of her daily commission of patrolling it.

Wolvendom is a vast and thick forest that is situated west of the city of Mondstadt. The forest is so thick that sometimes, some people get lost in it. Especially during the night when little moonlight passes through its lush trees.

It was also the home of the wolves. Buried deep inside Wolvendom, Andrius Boreas, the wolf of the north and the friend of the Anemo Archon, watched over the wolves. It is also worth noting that he was also a candidate for the next Anemo Archon during the Archon War, but refused and gave the sit to Venti as he doesn't like communicating with humans.

However, despite his hate for human interaction, he once adopted an infant baby left in Wolvendom.

And that infant baby grew up as a strong wolf-boy and has the name "Razor".

Razor is also a student of Lisa, the librarian of the Knights of Favonius, surprisingly. And Fischl is also under Lisa's teachings, making them... acquainted, but they have never met each other, just mentioned by their teacher, Lisa.

After arriving outside Wolvendom, Fischl finally decided to open the book she bought.

"Oz, what do you think of this book?" She asked.

Soon, Oz materialized from her vision and replied. "I believe that it is worth reading, Mein Fräulein..."

"Hmm..." Fischl hummed. After thinking for a few seconds, she agreed. "Alright, I'm always ready for new books."

"As you wish." Oz replied before disappearing.

You might be wondering, why is Fischl speaking normally? Well, it is because no one is around. She only speaks her chuuni lines when cosplaying in front of others. And when she is alone reading books, she is not Fischl, but Amy. Her real personality.

Fischl then reached for her handbag and took out the book. She inspected the cover and saw a man pointing at her with great muscles.

"What a peculiar art..." She said.

She then opened the book, and, just like what Lumine told her this morning, it contained drawings instead of words. "Fascinating... Isn't it, Oz?"

Oz then materialized and flapped his wings. "Yes."

She started reading the first chapter. It introduced a man named Joseph Joestar visiting his grandson that was imprisoned. "Nothing interesting yet... What do you think, Oz?"

"I believe that we shall continue reading." Oz replied.

"Agreed."

Fischl then flipped to the next pages and continued reading. It showed Joseph's daughter, Holy, picking him up from the port.

And yes, instead of an airport, Igarashi turned it into a seaport to fit the world of Teyvat.

The two of them then went to the prison where Joseph's Grandson was being held.

"I believe that the main character for this story is the grandson. Right?"

"I believe it so, Mein Fräulein."

She continued reading while walking down the road in Wolvendom. She was quite experienced in this location, as such, she does not worry about being attacked by wolves as they avoid this route.

She flipped to the next page until she finally saw him. Jotaro Kujo. The main character that is currently behind bars while drinking a soda.

"Oh, it's the man from the cover!" Fischl said. "Hehe, so my guess is true. He is indeed the main character of this story."

She then saw how the man posed and smiled greatly. "Sir Amon knows about the posing!"

The term "Posing" is something she made while cosplaying. She would do bizarre posing such as bringing her hand near her left eye as if she was acting mysteriously.

She really felt like this book was made for her. And boy was she right.

"Very much so." Oz replied while surveying the area.

"Truly, Sir Amon of the Manga Jump does not disappoint." She said.

Fischl then continued reading and saw how Jotaro said he was possessed by a ghost, that it won't leave him.

Seeing such a unique ability or curse, Fischl smiled in satisfaction. "It seems like Jotaro would use this power he has sooner or later."

"Indeed. I believe that he will take advantage of the ghost possessing him." Oz said.

She turned to another page and saw Joseph appearing in the Jail. He tried to convince his grandson to come out but Jotaro was insistent on staying inside, saying that the ghost possessing him is dangerous.

And to prove that, he picked up a gun and pointed it at his head.

Seeing the gun, Fischl remembered something. "Aren't those the weapons the Fatui uses?"

"I do not think so Mein Fräulein. The one shown here is far smaller than those used by the Fatui. But it seems to follow the same mechanism" Oz gave his opinion.

"On a closer inspection... You're right. The ones used by the Fatui are longer... What do they call it again? On yes, rifles. But this one is called a Glock." Fischl analyzed.

"You are correct, Mein Frälein." Oz agreed.

The two of them continued walking, occasionally looking up ahead for any obstacles while reading.

She then continued reading and saw Jotaro shoot the gun at his head. But suddenly, an illusory hand came out from behind him and stopped the bullet from hitting his head.

Seeing the ghost's hand, Fischl was surprised. "Such speed! I heard that the bullets used in rifles are quite fast! That ghost must have great reflexes along with power!"

"Indeed. It can also be seen that the ghost is protecting Jotaro." Oz said after reading.

"You're right, you're right!" Fischl agreed.

She and Oz continued reading when she heard the distant howls of the wolves. "Looks like the wolves in Wolvendom are beginning their hunt..."

She wasn't worried in the slightest. After all, she is taking the right path.

The both of them then went back to reading. The scene changed and Joseph confronted Jotaro to come out. The latter refused and stayed inside, ignoring his grandfather's nagging.

And just then, Joseph introduced another person. A person called Muhammad Avdol, who has the same power as Jotaro.

Avdol confronted Jotaro and the latter wanted to fight too. Avdol then sent out his own ghost— No, his stand!

Magicians Red!

A flaming bird appeared behind him and tried to attack Jotaro. Just then, the ghost that was possessing Jotaro appeared, revealing a man that is colored purple.

Star Platinum!

The ghosts' names were shown below.

And just before they were about to fight, the chapter ended.

"What?! That's it?" Fischl asked as she raised the book.

Oz laughed and sighed. "Haha, it seems like you liked the book, Mein Fräulein, will you continue to buy them from Sir Amon?"

"Of course I will! This is the only book that does exactly what I do! Poses, speeches, and powers! I want to continue reading!" Fischl said in happiness.

Seeing her happy, Oz too felt happy. "Then we better visit Sir Amon later."

"Speaking of Sir Amon, I want to give him his own title!" Fischl said.

"Why so, Mein Fräulein?"

"It is so he can be at ease when showing his true self! To have a title like I, the Prinzessin Der Verurteilung!"

Hearing her try, Oz once again laughed. "Then, what would you like to give Sir Amon as a title?"

"Hmm..." Fischl thought for a moment, scratching every book she had read to come up with a unique title. Just then, her eyes lit up. "Yes, I have come up with one!"

"What is it, Mein Fräulein?"

"The Angel of Time, Amon! Along with the Princess of Condemnation, Fischl! We shall walk the path of loneliness and righteousness!" Fischl happily said.

"That is a great title, Mein Fräulein." Oz said.

As for the title she came up with for Igarashi... It was purely coincidental and something she just made up.

Just then, their conversation was interrupted.

"Owch!" Someone said ahead of the road.

Fischl got curious and went to see who it is to see a person she was extremely close with and considered as one of her only true friends. It was the adventurer that holds the title of Unluckiness, Bennett!

(A/N: Saw some comments saying that I shouldn't have skipped parts 1 & 2. I'm sorry, I have greatly sinned. I'll add them later in the story.)
