55 Side story: A Very "Unusual" Dream

"Paimon? Paimom, where are you?" Lumine shouted

She was in an unusual place. She was standing on a platform floating on top of endless vast clouds.

She was looking everywhere for her companion, the self-proclaimed "Best Guide" in all of Teyvat.

The two of them had been together for more than a month now, and needless to say, they were very close. Wherever Lumine goes, Paimon follows.

That's why it was unusual for Paimon to suddenly disappear.

"Where am I?" Lumine asked herself.

She looked around but all she saw was the vast and endless sky. "Am I in a dream...?"

Suddenly, she started hearing some weird noise. She quickly turned around to see... A suitcase?

"What the..." She was utterly confused at what she was seeing.

Getting closer to the suitcase, he was curious about it, albeit on guard. "Why is there a suitcase here?"

Tug!*

Suddenly, the suitcase started doing bizarre things. Strange noises started coming out of it as it moved up and down in a cartoonish way.

The suitcase then started showing off colorful lights that greatly startled Lumine. "Whoa?!"

Out of shock, she was pushed backward.

"Ow..." She groaned as she landed on her back.

Looking at the suitcase which was now floating mid-air, an even more bizarre thing happened.

A Hilichurl wearing bizarre clothing leaped out of the suitcase.

It was wearing a brown suit and had a white mane, different from the usual Hilichurls Lumine found in the wild.

It was... An Unusual_Hilichurl.

"Muhe Domu!" The Unusual Hilichurl waved his hand.

Lumine, who has never met such Hilichurl before, got startled and thought that it wanted to attack her. 'I don't have any weapon!'

But surprisingly, the Hilichurl just stood there as the suitcase floated above, still glowing in bright light.

Out of nowhere, the Hilichurl started rummaging through his pocket, as if finding something.

"Grr..." The Unusual Hilichurl groaned. Clearly, it did not find the thing it was searching for.

"Yop!" It groaned as it jumped to catch its suitcase.

It then started searching for something inside, completely ignoring Lumine's presence.

Lumine, who was standing right behind it, found this whole situation odd. 'What is it looking for?'

After a few moments, the Hilichurl finally found the thing it was searching for.

A four-pointed item that seems to radiate different colors.

'That's... A primogem?' Lumine naturally knows of it. It was something only she and her brother could get.

Whenever she completed some kind of achievement, a Primogem would be added to her personal inventory.

The inventory is something unique to the siblings. It is something akin to a unique trait that they share.

Only... She does not know what the Primogems are for.

"Zido Ye" The Hilichurl said in Hilichurlian as it handed the Primogem to her

"Thank you...?" Lumine accepted the Primogem from the Unusual_Hilichurl.

As if completing its mission, the Unusual Hilichurl nodded its head with satisfaction.

It then leaped upwards into the suitcase, entering it and disappearing.

Soon, the suitcase followed and disappeared with a bright light.

Seeing the series of strange events, Lumine didn't know how to react. "That was... Strange."

Looking at the Primogem in her hand, she was even more confused. 'What should I do with it...?'

Turning her head behind, she looked at the endless vast sky and had a thought. "Maybe if I..."

Out of curiosity, Lumine followed her theory.

She then threw the Primogem to the vast sky.

'I wonder if something will happe—' Disrupting Lumine's thought, a meteor started coming down from the heavens.

The meteor then split off into ten fragments.

"That's..." As if remembering something, Lumine looked at the meteors closely.

Suddenly, one of them started shining brightly... It shined with a golden color.

The golden meteor then redirected its course and headed for Lumine.

"Ah!" Seeing this, Lumine intended to run away, but she was too late.

Covering her eyes, she expected to be crushed by the meteor. However, the golden meteorite stopped in front of her, and soon, a figure started appearing.

Opening her eyes, she looked at the golden light and saw...

"Ah!" Lumine shouted as she jumped out of bed

She looked around and saw that she was in the Inn she and Paimon were staying at.

Looking beside her, she Paimon's child-like appearance lay beside her, hugging her arm.

"Traveler...?" Paimon muttered.

"Shush, go back to sleep, Paimon." Lumine patted her

"Okay..." Paimon said as she went back to sleep

Seeing this, Lumine sighed.

"Was it... A dream?" She mumbled.

Flop*

Laying back down on the bed, she sighed in relief. "A strange dream again..."

"First it was Venti and now..." She started recounting her dreams.

"Another golden meteorite... And another figure." She remembered the dream. "But... I can't remember who it was... The dream ended too early."

Sighing, she just ignored the dream and went back to sleep.
