54 Another Harbinger... Trouble?

"Everything has been prepared, milady." A fatuus said

Goth Grand Hotel. A very famous hotel in Mondstadt that has hosted a lot of important events in the past as well as keeping important figures checked in.

However, currently, the hotel is being occupied by the Fatui.

The Fatui Harbinger, Regrator, reserved the whole hotel for Fatui-exclusive use.

One should know that the Regrator in the Fatui is the head of the Northland Bank all over Teyvat. Reserving a Grand Hotel such as this was nothing to him.

Currently, the Fatui Harbinger known as "La Signora" is staying in the hotel.

Yesterday, she completed her mission of stealing the Anemo Archon's gnosis.

"Good, let us leave this rotten city." She said in disdain. She was currently seating on a luxuriously-designed couch in the main hall.

Words cannot describe how much she loathes the nation of Mondstadt. For reason she does not know, deep hatred is buried deep inside her when the mere name of Mondstadt or Barbatos is mentioned.

"Yes, milady." The female Fatuus said.

Standing up, she started walking towards the exit. Following behind her are two female fatuus and two Fatui skirmishers.

When she got out, the sun's rays hit her face. Looking up, she covered the sun's rays with her hand before continuing her walk.

"The carriage is waiting outside, milady." A female Fatuus said.

"Umu." La Signora merely hummed

'Odd...' She thought.

Looking around, she observed her surroundings in suspicion. 'The pain... Feels less today.'

Every day, she suffers from excruciating pain as if she was being burned alive. The pain was so painful that she sometimes stay in the hotel to calm pain.

The only thing that is able to neutralize the pain was her Cryo Delusion, given by the Tsaritsa herself.

"Halt." She suddenly said. "I want to observe something."

"Yes." The Fatui members said in unison behind her

Walking, she started feeling the pain subsiding.

She walked towards a certain direction and the pain lessened.

"..."

Sensing something wrong with the situation, she experimented with something.

She walked the opposite of where she wanted to walk to test out speculation.

Sure enough, the stinging sensation of flames appeared once more when she walked away from the direction she was walking at.

'There's something in this city that can stop the pain...' She thought with a serious expression.

"..." Staying silent, she looked back at her followers and said with a serious tone. "Stay here. I have something to investigate."

"M-Ma'am? Are you sure?" One of the Female Fatuus said. "T-The Jester has sent a letter needing your presence in Liyue..."

"Enough." She said with an authoritative and angry tone. "Do as I said. You four wait for me outside of Mondstadt."

"Yes!" All of them said. They do not dare to disobey a Harbinger.

Soon, they started heading towards the exit of Mondstadt, leaving La Signora alone.

"Now then..." She mumbled under her breath. "Let's see what will interest me."

She then started following the direction where the burning sensation is subsiding.

"..." However, without her noticing, a figure was watching her from the sidelines.

"What is she planning...?" The figure said.

The figure himself has red hair and wears a dark suit. If one were to look at his face, one would immediately have the impression of a serious person.

Shaking his head, he sighed. "Forget it. I'll leave it to 'Him'."

"I'm sure he's also observing from afar." He muttered

"Ah-Ah! Not afar, Master Diluc, but above." Soon a playful voice was heard

Looking up, the man named Diluc looked at the rooftop to see a tall man with blue hair wearing an eyepatch looking at him with a smile. "Want me to follow her?"

"Hmp." Diluc hummed with an annoyed tone. "Do you wish."

After saying this, he left and walked towards the Angel's Share Tavern.

"Alright then." The man who is known as the Chivalric Captain, Kaeya, said with a smile.

La Signora walked through the streets of Mondstadt and occasionally, a look of disgust would appear on her face.

It was clear that she REALLY hated Mondstadt. Despite this, she continued following the direction her body wants to find.

'Sure enough...' She thought. 'The pain is subsiding as I follow this direction.'

As she walked, she saw a man from afar. He was with another person, a child, and from the looks of it, they were setting up something in front of what looked like a shop.

'That is...!' Her eyes widened. 'That man... The source is coming from him.'

Right now, she was feeling as if the man himself possesses something that can neutralize her pain. 'I must... Obtain it.'

Making up her mind, she walked gracefully towards the man.

The people who were walking saw her and made way for her. It was no secret for the common people about the Harbingers and only a few members of the Harbingers are known, Signora included.

Walking past the many passersby, Signora finally reached the man who is the source of the comfort she was feeling.

"You." She said with a demanding tone. "Tell me your name."

The man turned around to see who was calling him and for a brief moment, his eyes widened. Calming himself down, he awkwardly talked. "Are you... Talking to me?"

"Who else?" She said. "Now talk."

"Well..." The man rubbed his head. "First of all, my name's Amon."

Yes, it was Igarashi.

'Amon...' Signora thought. Looking around, she saw that he was bringing out shelves out of his shop. "What are you planning with these?"

"Oh, This? Well... Wait." Saying this, Igarashi intended to retreat to his shop but was stopped by her hand.

"Halt." She said as she grabbed his shoulder.

Suddenly, after touching him, a brief feeling of pleasure ran through her body before disappearing. 'This... This is...!'

The burning sensation disappeared. Something she wasn't able to get rid of but only suppressed... Was actually dispelled.

"Are you okay?" The man turned around and said.

A small tinge of red appears appeared on Signora's face as she looked at her hand.

She then looked at Igarashi and asked. "You... Who are you and what do you do...?"

"Me?" Igarashi said as he pointed at himself. Thinking for a moment, a sudden thought suddenly appeared in his mind.

With a confident smile, he spoke. "I'm a branch manager of Manga Jump. A Mangaka."

"Mangaka...? Explain." It was the first time La Signora had said such words.

"Well, basically, I turn stories into drawings and sell them to the people." He said with a smile.

Adjusting his monocle, he looked at her, and his smile turned gentler but with a hint of secret intent. "By the way... Looking at you, I have the perfect story."

"Hmph, I hold no interest for measly stories." She said as she crossed her arms. She then changed the topic. "What I want is... To recruit you to the Fatui."

"Sorry, I refuse." Igarashi replied quickly.

Returning to the previous topic and not letting Signors say another word, he continued. "But the story I want to tell is an interesting one."

"..." Signora looked at the man with a monocle in front of her and became annoyed. 'I... Must have him. For whatever reason, the pain is subsiding when I touch him...'

"Fine, tell me, what type of story is it that makes you want to turn down an offer from a Fatui Harbinger." She said

"Before that, why don't you come inside my shop first?" Igarashi suggested.

"...Fine." She said before entering the shop. She doesn't like it when someone commands her, other than the Jester and the Tsaritsa.

'I'll spare you once since you have use for me.' She thought

Sitting down on one of the couches, she looked at Igarashi sitting across wearing a monocle with a smile.

"The story I want to tell you is..." He said with a sinister smile. "The story of a young woman named Rosalyne..."
