'It has been a couple of months, and I haven't done anything significant so far.'
Logan thought, slowly sipping his piping hot cup of tea.
Though he isn't impatient, the same couldn't be said for the Mask of Illusion.
The Mask of Illusion has been complaining frequently about why there are so few Essence Sparks in a matter of a few months.
As for what the Mask of Illusion had said, Logan can only shrug and say it's a bit too difficult to gather a lot of Essence Sparks.
He thinks that he had already done well enough to gather a fair amount of Essence Sparks when he was just an outsider in Mondstadt.
And to make it even harder, it is only possible to gather Essence Sparks by playing as a character.
He already gathered a fair amount of Essence Sparks, but for a bottomless pit like the Mask of Illusion, it is not enough.
The first character he chose to act as is Kira Yoshikage, the main antagonist of a popular fiction called Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Part 4: Diamond is Unbreakable.
Though he made a few changes to make Kira Yoshikage look younger, in order to gather more Essence Spark. After all, women tend to like youthful men, right?
Though Kira Yoshikage may seem like an ordinary person, he is actually a Stand User, with a superpower called Stand, a unique power in Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.
A Stand is the physical manifestation of a person's "life energy" and has various strange powers, with some even able to have the power of a concept or be able to rewrite reality.
Kira's Stand is called Killer Queen, able to turn everything it touches into a bomb. It is a very powerful Stand that also has a trump card, Bites the Dust, creating a powerful explosion that is able to turn back time by one hour!
The ability to turn back time is a very powerful ability, almost on the same level as Istaroth, one of the Four Shining Shades of the Primordial One, who control the power of time!
But even if that is the case, he doesn't want to cause a huge commotion with his persona as Kira Yoshikage.
After all, he doesn't want to be arrested by the Knights of Favonius or provoke Venti, the Anemo Archon, not to mention the Maintainer of Heaven, who has a huge prejudice against people from the outside of this world, known as Descender.
Now that he thought about it, Kira Yoshikage is really unsuitable for frontal combat. While the stand, Killer Queen is obviously strong, Kira's body is not strong, only at the same level as an ordinary man.
So meaning he can be easily killed by anyone in Genshin Impact if he is not careful enough.
'Though I'm curious to see what would happen if I provided the Mask of Illusion with enough Essence Spark.'
Because providing the host to borrow the power of the character the host chose to act as isn't the only power of the Mask of Illusion.
The scariest part of the Mask of Illusion is that it allows the host to borrow the power of the character from among countless different realities.
Say, for example, Kira Yoshikage is the main antagonist of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Part 4, but perhaps in another reality, Kira Yoshikage is actually a normal person with no power.
And then there is another reality where Kira Yoshikage could be an animal, vampire, or even a woman.
So among countless realities, without exception, there are a lot of weak versions of Kira Yoshikage, but there might be an outrageously strong version of Kira Yoshikage too.
Perhaps there might be a reality where Kira Yoshikage has a Stand called Killer Queen Beyond Heaven, having the power to rewrite reality with its bomb.
So who knows? There might be an alternate reality where Kira Yoshikage gains the power of Killer Queen and no longer has to worry about frontal combat.
Of course, right now he can only borrow the power of the Kira Yoshikage from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Part 4 and hasn't gained access to other alternate reality versions of Kira Yoshikage.
'Though how can I get more Essence Spark quickly?'
Kira Yoshikage is obviously unsuitable as Logan has used the persona of Kira to work in Good Hunter and rashly trying to get Essence Spark may bring more disadvantages than benefits.
So he would need to choose a new character, but with the state of the Mask of Illusion right now, the character chosen would not be very strong.
Pondering what to do, he suddenly heard a loud commotion outside.
Curious, Logan peered out of the window to see a lone red-haired person in a dark suit with a mask, jumping among the tops of the buildings.
Seeing this, Logan quickly recognized this person.
'Diluc?... If I remember correctly, he had a nickname called Darknight Hero as he would frequently go out to slaughter monsters in the middle of the night.'
Diluc can be regarded as a famous celebrity in Mondstadt. He is the owner of Dawn Winery and is one of the strongest people in Mondstadt, able to escape several Fatui Harbingers in the past.
And in the game, Diluc is also a 5-star Pyro character who is an important supporting role in the Traveler's quest to calm Windterror Dragon.
'Though what is he doing? Is he battling Fatui or the Abyss Order?'
Logan is well aware of the Fatui and Abyss Order.
Fatui is an organization from Snezhnayan, with eleven powerful Harbingers serving under the Cryo Archon.
Their purpose is to gather the Gnosis from the other six Archons, though their purpose for doing so is unknown, but it is speculated that the Cryo Archon wants to gather the seven Gnosis to resist the Maintainer of Heaven.
While the Abyss Order is... rather more special. An organization formed after the fall of Khaenri'ahn and aims to bring the downfall of the seven Archons and defeat the Maintainer of Heaven.
Though Logan doesn't actually know whether the leader of the Abyss Order is the Abyss Prince or Abyss Princess.
Looking at the figure for a few seconds, he shifts his gaze away.
'Well, no matter... I'm sure he can solve it on his own.'
Taking a few steps, he suddenly pauses as he just got an inspiration.
'Hmm, a rich man, an orphan, and the nickname Darknight Hero... that reminds me of a certain character...'
Logan inwardly ponders, and then he made up his mind.
'Alright, I think I know who I will play as my next character...'
It's time to let the Mondstadt that has grown lazy, experience a little madness...

The Cryo Abyss Mage fell to the ground with a loud thud, with the ice shield broken.
"Y-you, don't think the Abyss Order won't get you, Darknight Hero!"
"Hmph."
Diluc snorted, not bothering to talk to a dead person.
He activated his Pyro Vision and stabbed with searing heat, incinerating the Cryo Abyss Mage into ashes.
With the death of the Cryo Abyss Mage, Diluc quickly headed back toward the city of Mondstadt.
Running through the plains, Diluc had thoughts from his encounter with the Cryo Abyss Mage.
'There has been more Abyss Mage lately...'
Though he doesn't show it outwardly, Diluc secretly felt anxious.
The fact that this is the 8th Abyss Mage that he encountered in a month showed that there is a problem.
After all, the Abyss Mage is fairly high in the hierarchy order of the Abyss Order, and yet he had encountered several Abyss Mages in just one month.
An increase of Abyss Mages appearing in Mondstadt means that the Abyss Order is obviously planning to do something nefarious in Mondstadt.
And he doesn't know what the Abyss Order is planning, which is why he is feeling anxious. He shook his head, clearing away the anxiousness in his heart, with his eyes becoming sharp.
'Well, no matter. The Knights of Favonius are useless and inefficient, so it's up to me to stop the plan of the Abyss Order.'
With that, his figure disappeared as he moved at an almost blinding speed, toward the Mondstadt city.
Soon he quickly arrived at the city of Mondstadt, but when he sneaked in, he heard a voice of a stranger, accompanied by a faint laughter.
"Hahaha, what are you doing at the middle of the night, Darknight Hero?"
Diluc looked up to see a strange green-haired person with white skin all over the face and a bright red paint on the lips.
He frowned at seeing this. While he doesn't know who this stranger is, he can instinctively tell that this person is not a good person.
"Hahaha! Who am I? Why, I'm just a nobody, nothing more than a clown."
A clown? Is he related to the Jester from the Fatui?
Diluc then denies his guess. This strange person who keeps on laughing is obviously a madman. Diluc quickly made a judgment of the man inwardly.
"You know... at first, I didn't believe it. I thought it was just a coincidence, but the more I watched, the more I was certain!"
"Did you have any idea how I felt when I heard you were dead? After your death, I spent years in boredom, no longer having any hope in life anymore. At times, I contemplated doing suicide countless times!"
"But I never dreamed I found his reincarnation! It was meant to be destined! A battle that lasted for hundreds of years!"
The strange green-haired person was initially talking calmly, but the more he spoke, the more fanatic emotions showed on his face, almost screaming at the end.
An alarm set off in Diluc's head. This strange man said he lived for more than 100 years and is talking about some inexplicable reincarnation. It is likely that he might be connected to a God!
Of course, it can't be denied that the strange man may be lying.
Feeling frustrated, not liking the feeling of not understanding what's going on, Diluc's tone gradually became impatient as he asked once again.

But hearing Diluc's tone and question, the green-haired person erupted into laughter.

Diluc frowned. He instinctively wanted to refute the strange man's nonsense, but when he heard the name Batman, his heart throbbed as if remembering something.
Could it be what the madman said is true?
He shook his head, refusing to believe it. He is Diluc Ragnvindr, not the reincarnation of someone else!
But he spoke again, trying to probe for more information. "If I'm the reincarnation of the so-called Batman, then who are you?"
"Why, you ask who I am?"
Lightning strike cackled in the night, faintly revealing the outline of the green-haired man and the madness contained behind his grotesque laughter.
"Remember this! I am your worst nightmare, Joker!"
The Joker's laughter echoed over the entirety of Mondstadt City. It was destined to be a restless night...
