1 The Terrarian In Teyvat

At the current time, two individuals could be seen standing above a relatively tall cliff as they seemed to be staring down at what appeared to be a rather crude looking campsite of sorts. There were a few wooden structures, being a singular house and a two wooden archer towers.

The first person was a young female with floating long brown hair, along with fair skin and a pair of orange-gold eyes. Looking at her attire, it seemed to consist of mostly red, white, and brown colours. Though, the most eye-catching feature was certainly the red headband she had on which had attached a pair of ribbons that looked very much like bunny ears.

Standing next to her was a young man around the same age as herself, with somewhat pale skin and a lean physique. He had smooth black hair with a few vibrant blew bangs, which matched well with the blue colour of his rather sharp and striking eyes.

As for his clothing, it seemed to be rather casual. Consisting simply of a black t-shirt that was somewhat loose, along with a pair of dark-blue sleek long pants and a pair of black and white running shoes. Overall, it was nothing too special.

"So, what's the plan?" The male asked calmly as he gazed down at the strange goblin-like creatures roaming around the campsite below, all of whom seemed to be wearing bone-like masks. "I'll be following your lead again this time, Amber."

"Well, I don't really have much of a plan..." The female, who was identified to be Amber, responded as she rubbed the back of her head. "Though, do we really need one? With that insane physical strength you seem to have, this camp shouldn't be a problem."

"Glad to hear you have such faith in me." Keston chuckled as he rested one hand on his waist. "We should always formulate a plan though, even if the situation isn't at all that dire. We can just go with the usual with me charging in and you providing me support from above."

"Sounds good!"

"Then let's begin."

With a smile on his face, Keston casually crouched down before jumping as he shot up into the air, easily getting more than ten meters into the air as the force behind his jump created a small stream of wind to follow behind him as Amber had to quickly stabilize herself.

Looking down, Keston began descending down quickly, and it didn't take long before he crashed right down on top of one of the larger members of this group. The monster, which was a mitachurl, disappeared in the cloud of dust that kicked up after Keston landed on top of it.

The sudden commotion got the rest of the camp's attention as they all panicked and turned to where the dust cloud was, and they all watched as it slowly cleared away, revealing Keston who casually stepped off of the lifeless body of the mitachurl that now laid in a small crater in the ground.

"Sorry for crashing the party, I'm just here for the clean up."

Whether or not the hilichurls understood what he said was beyond him, but their aggressiveness now was more than enough of a sign of what was to come. As one of the hilichurls charged at Keston, the male tilted his head slightly, narrowing avoiding a swing of the hilichurl's wooden club.

With his hands in his pockets, Keston smiled as he casually lifted one of his legs before kicking the hilichurl across the stomach. The force created a small shockwave as the hilichurl was sent flying back, crashing into one of the others, effectively killing them both.

As the remaining enemies stepped back in fright, a flaming arrow pierced through the air before piercing and sticking into the skull of one of the hilichurls. Before the hilichurls could react, Keston appeared in front of them in the blink of an eye.

"Goodnight." With a casual word, Keston drove his left fist right into the hilichurl's stomach, causing a burst of powerful wind to blow. The hilichurl didn't even get blown back, instead collapsing to the ground with a thud. "Amber, think fast!"

"Wh-What? H-Hey!" Amber panicked as Keston suddenly threw the last hilichurl up into the air, high enough that it was more than twenty meters above where she was on the cliff. Quickly aiming her bow, Pyro energy gathered around the tip of the arrow before sparking. "Don't be underestimating me, Keston!"

With great accuracy, Amber's arrow flew through the air before once again piercing right into the hilichurl's skull as it dropped back to the ground, and obviously not getting up after its skull literally had a flaming arrow sticking out of it.

Seeing this, Keston gave a small whistle. "Not bad!"

"Thank you!" Amber responded after she slid down the side of the cliff, then walking over to Keston who simply stood with his hands still in his pockets. "That's another hilichurl camp out of the way. How many have we cleared out now?"

"Thirty two."

"Really?" Amber blinked in surprise. "I'm surprised you remember, I didn't bother after the first ten."

"Gotta keep a record of your achievements, no?" Keston gave a small chuckle as he said this. If his sense of time was right, they'd been at it non-stop for around three hours now. "It's starting to get late, so you should probably head on back to Mondstadt."

"Yeah, you're right." Amber nodded after looking up to see the positioning of the sun, it was indeed getting quite late into the afternoon. "Why don't you come back with me? I'll treat you to some delicious food over at Good Hunter! Think of it as thanks for helping me this past week."

"Hmm... I appreciate the offer, but It'll have to wait for another time. I have something planned that I want to get done pretty soon."

"Again?" Amber frowned visibly after hearing this, even hear bunny-like ribbons seemed to droop down in response to her current emotions. "You always seem busy with something. In fact, where do you even live? I've never seen you in places like Springvale, and while the Stormterror threat has been dealt with, it's still pretty dangerous."

"I'll be fine, I'm pretty strong." Keston shrugged his shoulders. "I'll make sure to visit the city next time. You also said that you needed some building materials to help repair the city, right? I'll bring you some more the next time I visit."

"R-Really? That'll be a great help!" Amber seemed to brighten up immediately after hearing this, though she soon had a bit of an ashamed look on her face. "Those materials you gave us before really help a lot, not to mention how high quality they were. I feel bad just taking it though..."

"It's fine, I have plenty to go around." Keston gave a small wave at this. It was true, he honestly had more stone and wood than he was ever going to be using at the current time. "Since I have some spare, I might as well donate it so you guys can get your city back up to shape."

"I still feel bad though, and Master Jean is wanting to meet you so she could properly compensate you for all of it!"

"I already said it's fine, no need to worry." Keston sweatdropped a bit hearing this. While he had obviously never met this Master Jean person, she was apparently the current governing head of sorts for this nation if he understood Amber correctly. "Anyway, I better get going. If i wait too long, I won't be able to do what I need to do."

"O-Okay, good luck."

Amber just watched as Keston gave a small nod before casually jumping up the entire cliff and walking off to who knows where, she continued staring for a moment before frowning. Shaking her had, Amber ran to the cliff before quickly giving chase.

[O]-----------------------[O]

"Home sweet home."

Keston's voice sounded as he stepped out of what looked to be a circular portal that was hovering a few centimetres above the ground. Looking around at the surroundings, he was revealed to now be standing in front of a rather massive wooden mansion of sorts, the front entrance visible directly after having left the portal.

The grassy plains surrounding him were nothing out of the ordinary, simple trees, both short and tall, along with various forestry growing all around. Well, it'd be normal if it weren't for the fact that everything seemed to have a cubic nature to them.

If you looked closely, you could see that certain elevated sections revealed that the world seemed to be rather blocky in nature. Keston was used to this sight, so he gave no reaction whatsoever. It had been over three months since he came here after all.

At first, he had thought he'd entered a more detailed version of Minecraft, but let's say it didn't take long for him to realise the truth. After some investigation, he had actually ended up being transported to Terraria, and not just any Terraria, but Terraria with a bit of... Calamity.

To say he wasn't happy would be the biggest understatement of all time, did you think he wanted the already dangerous level of Terraria to increase by one hundred times at the least? Hell no! He was a normal high school before all of this, and it took quite a bit of time for him to even properly cope with his situation.

It took some time, but he had eventually accepted his situation and had tried his best to survive. In the game you could revive after a certain number of seconds after death, but he doubted that was the case here, it wasn't the game anymore.

And he sure as hell wasn't willing to die and find out.

So, until that death comes knocking at his door on its own and takes him to the afterlife using his potentially bony looking fingers without his consent, he was not going to suicide himself to see if he could resurrect.

Aside from all that though, Keston didn't look around for long before swiping his hand in front of himself. This small action immediately caused what looked to be a holographic panel to appear, mainly consisting of multiple different sized grids and text.

"Alright, I think I've prepared enough for this fight." Keston muttered as he looked at the grid of items in front of him. Tapping onto one of them, what looked to be a large eyeball suddenly materialised into his hand. "Holding this thing still disgusts me..."

In his hand was none other than the Suspicious Looking Eye, the item used to summon forth an entity known as the Eye of Cthulhu. While normally not a difficult boss, this wasn't the game anymore. On top of it being much stronger due to the Calamity mod, this was also a real-life setting.

Keston wasn't naive enough to think that it'd be as easy as in the game, who knows what a massive ass eyeball of destruction could do in the real world. In any case, Keston looked up to see the sky now quickly turning to night as the stars began to appear in the black aether.

He was intending on fighting the Eye of Cthulhu right here, and he didn't need to be concerned about the safety of any NPCs he had in this world. This mansion next to him was his secondary base of operations, the NPCs were all elsewhere over by the main base.

As to why he had two bases... he was bored.

Keston took a deep breath before opening up his inventory and tapping a few times. As the inventory closed, Keston's body had a gathering of light particles around his entire being before said particles condensed and took proper shape.

The light emitting from the particles dimmed away quickly as what looked to be a set of sturdy and shining silver armour materialised around him, the armour seemed to have another layer of black armour underneath and the top silver plates had various red accents to them as well.

As for the helmet that covered the majority of his head, it looked somewhat akin to that of a rhinoceros. Though, a better comparison would probably be that of a dragon considering the number of horns. The helmet even seemed to possess a pair of glowing red eyes, which may very well be the eyes that Keston was looking through as the 'jaw' of the helmet seemed to cover everything but his mouth area.

Aside from the armour, there also seemed to be a medium-length dark-purple cloak of sorts on his shoulders that stretched around to cover up his back and front.

Although the Hunter Cloak was a mere vanity item, he personally found it both comfortable, and by his personal opinion, quite suitable when together with the Platinum Armor. Of course, it also went well with other forms of armor, Platinum Armor was but one of them.

That aside, Keston quickly gave one last look over his current equipment before nodding his head in satisfaction. Three months may sound like a long time, but this wasn't a game anymore. So, his current progress was quite good for that amount of time, especially since he was going solo.

Taking a deep breath, Keston slowly opened his covered eyes. "Here we go."

[Eye of Cthulhu has awoken!]

The boss didn't spawn in immediately after Keston saw the message pop-up in the corner of his peripheral vision, there was a small delay after the summoning of a boss. He had come to learn of this after fighting both the King Slime and Desert Scourge in the past.

This was a good thing though, it meant that the boss at least wouldn't spawn on top of his ass instantly, it actually gave him some time to react and get out his weaponry before the official arrival of the boss.

"Alright, let's g-."
