53. Rips Everything From Existence

Ryūhei shut his eyes, trying to feel the surrounding space. Because of his sensitivity to space, or perhaps because his eyes made him sensitive to space, he tried to sense the fluctuations using his senses other than his eyes.

He opened his eyes after feeling Azhdaha was close and teleported away from him.

On the other hand, Zhongli took out a spear that appeared out of nowhere, then imbued it with his energy before swinging it toward Azhdaha.

*Bang*

The spear clashed with Azhdaha's horn.

The two of them were equally strong, and both of them did not back down from the first clash.

"Argh!!! Is once not enough!? You would forsake me again!?" Azhdaha roared.

But Zhongli didn't seem to change his expression as he opened his mouth.

"If that is what you choose to believe, so be it. He who bears the weight of memory is destined to shoulder the burden of truth. As it ought to be."

Azhdaha slammed his legs continuously onto the earth, creating continuous shockwaves as well as tremors.

*Boom* *boom* *boom*

Even though Zhongli was protected by his shield, the shockwave still sent him flying backward.

All of a sudden, a change occurred in Azhdaha's body. Even Ryūhei couldn't believe what he was seeing.

He could feel the heat energy from Azhdaha's body. However, the source was underground, not from him.

"Don't tell me, he absorbed the Pyro element from the Ley Line? I won't let that happen!"

Ryūhei instantly gathered the negative energy from his body while absorbing the other source from Azhdaha in a split second.

Azhdaha naturally noticed when Ryūhei absorbed his energy, so he turned to Ryūhei while roaring, "Insect! I'll turn you into dust!"

But at that moment, Ryūhei had already formed a red orb. He made use of his eyes to the limit. With his full concentration, he became aware of the space around him.

In an instant, he appeared above Azhdaha, then unleashed the red orb in his palm.

Azhdaha felt that someone was about to unleash a powerful attack from above, so he combined his Geo element and Pyro element he absorbed from the Ley Lines to form fire lances, then fired them in Ryūhei's direction.

*Boom*

The explosion and impact of the clash resounded throughout the space.

Ryūhei was seen levitating in mid-air. What he did wasn't as simple as it seemed. He had always been quick to learn anything related to combat since long ago. So, ever since he had the Rikugan, he had always thought about what he could do with his eyes that could freely control space. But thinking only in theory still limited him.

However, once he fought Azhdaha, who had far greater strength, his fast elemental attacks made Ryūhei fully concentrate, and he finally gained enlightenment when fighting. In addition, he could distinguish any particles by mass, speed, and shape by using his eyes.

With the enlightenment he gained during the fight, he combined the Infinity and space manipulation to make him fly.

He simply changed the curvature of space around him, which then affected the gravitational field because of it. At the same time, he used the infinity to slow down everything around him. It made it look like he was flying in the air, but he was only making an infinite distance of space around him, causing him to fall endlessly above space.

Ryūhei looked at Azhdaha while clicking his tongue.

"Tsk. His absorption rate is too fast. In that case, I'll just spam my techniques."

Ryūhei continuously released his two techniques, the Cursed Technique Lapse: Blue and the Cursed Technique Reversal: Red, in turn.

Thanks to the Rikugan, Ryūhei's use of cursed energy is so efficient, and coupled with his ability to absorb negative energy from Azhdaha, he can't run out of energy even if he unleashes his techniques one after another.

Azhdaha roared in anger after being hit with a barrage of curse techniques that slammed him to the ground without able to wake up.

Azhdaha did not expect that there was a human who was so troublesome. Even though he looked weak, all of his techniques couldn't be said that way.

Once again, Azhdaha absorbed another element from the Ley Lines. Ryūhei wanted to prevent him, but it was no use. It's as if Azhdaha was already connected to the Ley Line a long time ago.

Now, Azhdaha's body has been imbued with the Geo and Pyro elements, and his tail is imbued with the Cryo element.

"Since it's like this, I can't help but have to try using it. But I have to be careful because this space is the Sub-Space Creation used to seal Azhdaha. If this space is cracked, it will be troublesome to repair it… perhaps."

Ryūhei shut his eyes while still in the air, ignoring Azhdaha's angry roar.

Meanwhile, Azhdaha formed gigantic circles in mid-air with technique formulas within them. All of them shone before summoning meteors. At the same time, his tail formed a Cryo sphere in the air, and summoned ice lances, then homed toward Ryūhei and Zhongli.

Things like those weren't a problem for Zhongli as he was called an Immovable God due to his toughness. He naturally was surprised that Ryūhei could levitate in mid-air. However, when he saw Ryūhei shut his eyes and do nothing to the incoming attack, he shouted, "Watch out!"

It was too late for Zhongli to cast another shield for Ryūhei.

An ice lance stabbed Ryūhei's spot. Then another one stabbed in the same spot, destroying the previous ice lance. Then, more and more ice lances stabbed in that spot before the meteor fell in the same spot.

Zhongli widened his eyes when he saw that. It wasn't because the barrage of attacks killed Ryūhei on the spot, but because there was a kind of barrier that prevented the attacks from getting closer to Ryūhei.

"That's— a barrier?"

The Infinity indeed acted as a barrier as it slowed down the speed of the incoming attacks. However, as it was slowed down to almost zero speed, it made the Infinity look like a barrier from Zhongli's point of view.

Meanwhile, Ryūhei knew that any physical attacks from Azhdaha couldn't do anything to him. So, he calmly formed a hand seal. Then, he switched the hand seal to a pinching motion as the gigantic purple orb was formed above it.

"Hollow Technique: Purple!"

Ryūhei unleashed the purple orb in Azhdaha's direction as it also ripped the incoming attacks. As it flew swiftly toward Azhdaha, he tried to counter the incoming orb with his attacks. However, all of them were destroyed the moment they touched the orb.

Azhdaha couldn't dodge with such a huge body. Ultimately, the orb rushed forth and erased a part of Azhdaha's right leg and his whole tail, and it even created a hole underground. But Ryūhei immediately dispersed it as it would be dangerous if he damaged the space in the surroundings.

*Roar*

Azhdaha felt immense pain thanks to Ryūhei's technique. He tried to control the earth to regenerate his leg. However…

"Do you think I'd let you? You're my source of negative energy, not the source of trouble. Just be obedient!!"

"Insect! I'll kill you!"

*Boom*

Ryūhei unleashed the Cursed Technique Reversal Red all of a sudden to prevent Azhdaha from regenerating while absorbing his negative emotions.

In fact, Ryūhei was delighted inside after seeing his attack was so effective against Azhdaha, although it was due to absorbing Azhdaha's negative energy formed by his negative emotions. Still, Ryūhei couldn't let his guard down.

"My katana is broken. I have to look for materials to forge a new one." Then, he looked at Azhdaha's curled horn. "That thing will do."

Ryūhei unleashed the Red once again before he formed a purple orb the size of the horn thickness. Then, he released it to cut one of the horns.

He grabbed the cut horn and put it into the system backpack. A split second after that, he teleported a little away from Azhdaha while performing another Hollow Technique: Purple. However this time, Ryūhei absorbed much more energy from Azhdaha. Almost half of them converted to his own, while more than half of it was to form the technique.

As the purple orb formed in front of him, it was thrice the size of the first time he released the technique. And since Azhdaha lost one of his legs, he couldn't move freely. Even when he wanted to submerge underground previously, Ryūhei already predicted it and released gigantic shockwaves one after another.

Since Azhdaha couldn't do anything against Ryūhei's attack, he released everything from ice lances, massive hailstorms, fallen ice chunks, ice spikes, meteors, shockwaves, and gigantic fireballs.

Yet, the moment Ryūhei unleashed his technique, it annihilated everything in its path.
