165 Writing

"Hah!" Fischl sighed "To think that such a little liar had caused that little girl to awaken. It would have been so simple and easy to simply die."

"Who are you?" Allen glared at her "And what happened with Fischl?"

"How can you be so sure that I am not your Fischl?" She lifted an eyebrow.

"You are not trying to even hide your differences. Either your aura and the way you speak, move and act, except for your body, everything is different as if someone has taken control of her body."

"You are right, your Fischl is no longer here, being swallowed by me."

"Has she completely disappeared or is she still within you?" Allen inquired.

"You are a strange one, Allen." Fisch glared at Allen "Normal people will react scared or worried, even angry. But you are surprisingly calm, asking quite the neutral and objective questions, trying to understand the situation that doesn't make any sense. It's as if you had some previous experience..." Fischl's scarlet eye shined brightly as Allen's being reflected in it "I see... Similar yet so different. Two types of memories, you really are a strange one."

'She is able to see it?!' Allen tried to keep his cool, but it seemed that the attempt to see how similar this situation was to his condition when coming to this world had revealed his condition that seemed to be fully discovered by her mysterious ability.

"You can calm down. It's not like is nothing too important two types of memories. And anyway, I am unable to see through them, so you do not need to worry." Fischl stated "And for your question, Fischl's memories and experiences are still here, but they are being overflowed by mine, fully rewriting my being. Similar to joining the memories of an adult with a baby, the adult's memories prevailing while the baby's ones can be ignored, not affecting the final character."

'She is truly like me, with the previous Allen almost nothing remaining except his love for Ellen' "Seeing the situation, I can suppose that it was Fischl's own decision, needing your help to escape the situation, so I would discard you forcefully taking over. However, can you regress to her?"

"If I could I would really like, but that's impossible. In the end, I was always part of her, I part with the strength necessary to protect you. Once she destroyed the seal, our mind spaces fused, making it irreparable. She is forever gone."

"Hah!" Allen looked to the ceiling "If only I'd been faster" Allen was aware that showing his Columbina's form and fighting would have resolved it without Fischl needing to act.

"I'm such a bastard" Allen sighed, but it wasn't for his late decision, but for how calm he found himself in that situation. Fischl had practically died there and while he felt a little guilty for her, it ended there. No tears or sadness came, no long feeling. 'Is this my own feelings or I am being affected by Kagome?'

"Yes, you are not even sad. More pissed in your defeat than in your friend's loss." Fischl nodded.

"It seems that's who I am now, not much to change or force now that it's too late. I will only need to continue forward" Allen stood up.

"What would you do from now on?" Allen asked "You are a completely different person now. Would you try to die again?"

"Who knows?" Fischl looked at the distance "There's nothing waiting for me here. It might be the best option."

"Are you really sure, you don't have anything to live on?" Allen asked "That knight was waiting for you and I know a woman who wanted to protect you."

"Protect me? What a joke!" She spatted "There's no reason nor need. Who would try tha-?" she suddenly stopped "Skirk, eh? That useless girl trying to become a knight."

'So she is truly aware of Skirk.'

She sighed "They are merely blind to the real situation and are keeping the hope of a past that is long lost and would never return. What a useless way to waste their time." Fischl turned over Allen "Why are you asking this? What is your reason for trying to convince me to live?"

"It might be for Fischl, or for my promise with Skirk to protect you" Allen answered truthfully.

"For a fallen "friend" and a promise? I really doubt it" She shook her head "You are not the kind of guy that would care for a promise if it could cause any damage to yourself."

"Power or information. You will not get anything from me and you are fully aware of it. I am in a far superior league where you can't even step or make use of it. I am an unknown factor that could pose an immense danger. So tell me, why are you doing this?" Fischl's glare pierced over Allen.

'Yes, she is kind of right. Similar to Alice, she is not someone I can try to convince or trade to gain anything, only possible to wait for her to make the first move. If she wished for my death, I could do nothing to stop her. And while she defeated the Abyss Order seemingly to save me following Fischl's wish, she is aware that I lied to her so I can't be sure of how will she act. The safest would have been to let her die before. So... why did I do it?'

"Why?" Allen shook his head "I can't really answer. My mind is telling me otherwise, but my body and instincts moved me like that, wanting to save you and that part of Fischl inside you. And you know? Now that I am calmer, I won't regret it, because I truly felt that I followed my own emotions and that's irreplaceable" 'Yes, that's sure. Kagome did not affect at all in that decision.'

"You don't regret it?" Fischl lifted her right hand, pointing with her finger at Allen as killing intent explode from her "Would you not regret it if I killed you here?"

"Are dead people capable of regretting?" Allen answered without blinking.

"I suppose that no" She made a downcast smile, the killing intent disappearing "That's why it can be sometimes the sweetest blessing. Allen" Fishcl lifted her face, looking straight at him "What would you do in my case? Without nothing to do and with only pain to remember?"

"It's a difficult question, but if you truly don't have anything to live, why don't you live for others?" Allen.

"Are you really telling me to help others?" Fischl glared at him.

"No, not others, but yourself, a part of it at least" Allen explained "You don't have any reason to live, so live for "Fischl", follow her dreams and hopes."

"Her dreams..."

'That's what I did' Allen thought' Allen thought of his time coming to this unknown world without any aim, choosing to respect the previous Allen's will to protect and cure Ellen. "And maybe one day while following them, you truly gain a reason for you to live."

"What would she want?" Fischl whispered thoughtfully as she thought of the young girl's life and dreams, about her act as a princess created by her solitude as a way to escape her sadness 'They were simply her delusions. What did she truly want to do?'

'I want to continue writing our story even if I am not myself' "Fischl"'s last words resounded over her mind.

"Allen" Fischl looked at him "For now, I will follow you. I want to be next to you."

"What?!" Allen blinked in surprise truly not expecting this outcome. Truthfully, he thought that the probability of her trying to create the Immernachtreich was more probable than being with a liar such as himself.

"Even when she was aware that your relation was a lie, she loved that lie." Fischl explained "I'll follow it, I'll write our story together." She smiled radiantly that for an instant Allen could see "Fischl" behind it.

"Are you truly sure?" 'She following around can be a great help, but she can also be a great danger.

"Yes, I won't make it end here." Fischl took something from her back that Allen recognized as her Vision, however, it was no longer the usual purple Electro one, instead, it was black with some scarlet tint, not resembling any of the ones previously seen.

"Munin!" *Fush* With a flash, a black raven appeared in front of her "Do it!"

"As you wish" The raven bowed to her and started shining, the azure light swallowing Fischl within.

Once the light was gone, the raven completely disappeared and Fishcl's aura had completely changed with it. Her scarlet eye became green as her right one, her Vision returned to be Electro and the suffocating aura and pressure around her completely disappeared.

"I've sealed my powers" Fischl explained "If I don't want to be found, I couldn't leave like that. Like this even with people sensing my return, they would think that I had died as the other times, so you don't need to worry about any danger following because of me."

"Yes" Allen nodded in wonder as he looked at her. Now, he really couldn't tell much the difference with the previous Fischl, except a sudden maturity.

"Hg!" Allen coughed "So would you continue being Fischl, Prinzessin der Verurteilung, Sovereign of Immernachtreich."

"Who knows? She might have wanted it, but I can't follow that bastard's written obsessions." Fischl spatted.

"So, what shall I call you now? Amy?" Allen wondered as he thought of Fischl's true name.

"No, please anything except that." Having listened the name of Amy, Fischl shuddered and her face became pale as painful memories crossed her mind "Let's better keep the act. You can keep calling me Fischl."

"This is strange and all as I am fully aware this was all created by lies, but for now..." Allen offered his hand "Nice to meet you again, Fischl"

"Nice to meet you again, Allen" They shook their hands.

...

"So are you angry with my decision of saving her?" Allen found himself in his mind space with Kagome standing in front of him "Are you trying to fight again?"

"No, I can accept your decision" Kagome shook her head "That girl is not an ant. She deserves respect and you can learn a lot from her. She is certainly different."

"So in the end, I did not go against your wishes, so there's no need to pay for them."

"This doesn't change anything about our promise" Kagome stated "Until you surpass me or the Shogun, you shall stop being Allen. You should leave Mondstadt and go to Inazuma." Kagome grinned "Show it to me. Surpass me!"

...

Outside the city of Mondstadt in the middle of the night, two hooded people left from the main gate while hidden by the shadows.

"Leaving at this hour? Trying to escape, Allen?" Just as they crossed the bridge and were about to enter the forest, they were stopped by a bond girl who was laying over the trunk of the tree.

"Fischl" Allen calmly turned over the girl while Endora next to him glared at her warely "Why are you here?"

"Why would it be?" Fischl lifted and eyebrow "I had already told you, for Fischl, I would write our story together so I will follow you."

"If you truly wanted to live as her, wouldn't it be better to stay with her parents."

"Living a happy family life with parents?" Fischl smiled sadly "I can be a good actress, but that's something that I would never be able to do it. Rather than make them realize that their daughter is gone, I think it's better to leave them in the unknown. I had already prepared some letter explaining my leave for an adventure." Fisch sighed "Have you made your own preparations?"

"Yes" Allen nodded "I've prepared the letters for the Adventurer's Guild, Knights and for Ellen and Eula. That I leave for personal reasons and that there's no need to follow. Eula might be worried, but I am sure that Ellen while angry will be able to calm and convince her."

"And will you really bring the Lochfolk with you?" Fischl said looking at Endora next to Allen.

"Endora is strong!" Endora shouted offended.

"It will be dangerous and difficult so I will use every power in my reach." Allen answered as she patted Endora's head.

"I see.." Fischl looked at Endora before nodding "So... where are we going first?"

"It seems that I won't be able to stop you" Allen sighed before turning "Our destination will be Inazuma, but before that we will go to Liyue" Allen stated "We need to take one more person there."

...

In a dark place full of shadows, a dead body of a Hydro Abyss Mage laid on it with a hole in his head.

Suddenly, a dark portal appeared and from it, a Cryo Mage surged and instantly inspected the corpse.

"Have you found anything on it?" From the same portal a blond young man appeared.

"Nothing. A simple arrow wound, nothing special, your Highness." The Cryo Mage spatted without any once of respect at his title, with a tone full of irony.

"One death is nothing special, but for a full group to not return and for even the Herald to die..." Aether completely disregarded her tone, completely used to the Mage's impudence as he looked over the corpse, agreeing the cause of its dead. "That adventurer shouldn't be capable of accomplishing it, meaning that there should be some hidden forces at his back." Aether turned over the Mage "What would you do, Niu?"

"We have too little information and we are quite busy at the moment so unless he clearly starts opposing us, I would rather ignore him. We can't waste precious resources and risk of losing strength now."

"You are right" Aether said thoughtfully "We can ignore him for now, there are far more important things to do. And if he truly becomes an obstacle for my plan, we'll eliminate him" Aether stated before returning to the portal and disappearing from the place.

Finding herself alone, the Cryo Mage turned over the corpse. "Ninininini!" She started laughing loudly "That idiot prince is blind as always, not being able to see what is in front of him. This perfect wound, the place, that feeling in the air, there's no doubt about it, it's my Princess!" The Mage said full of devotion.

"What a pity that I was not there to see her return this time!" The Mage blamed "But this time was truly faster than the ones before, could it be for my book?"

"Nini!" The Mage laughed "I hope she liked it" The Mage turned around humming with a happy tone "When will we meet again, my Princess!?" She said before disappearing.

{AN: With this volume 6 ends. All these volumes had been more of an introduction all of it part of a big prologue that created Allen's background and his way. Now is when it will start the new adventure and starting to change the game (As if Allen were to disappear now, it wouldn't cause much change in the game, being almost the same).

Thanks for your support during all these volumes!

The next Volume would be the 7- Tartaglia: To Surpass Oneself. Who knows when I will be able to start again?

Thanks for your support.
