Genshin Impact: Icy Path

A Genshin Impact fan dies and finds himself over the fantasy world of Teyvat. However, funny adventures, riches and fame were no waiting for him, instead, a cruel reality and a curse is what lay in front of him, forcing him to use all his means to protect his new loved ones, even if means falling to deepest abysm. ---- I thought about this story months ago before the actual start of the 2.0 version, finally having some time now to write it. So there would be some changes from it (For example the lost of Raiden Shogun's gnosis). Also, the story would start at the Snezhnaya, so I would invent most of it as it lacks concrete information. ---- To support me p*treon.com/picaco for chapter in advance.

Stormterror

Over the ruins of Old Mondstadt, Allen walked through its streets. She was as Columbina, her boots resounding with each step.

Next to her, Endora was floating. She had returned to her water angel form, being able to alternate between both, this one being her secret identity.

Allen went towards Decarabian's tower while reminding the old ruins, seeing how nothing had changed even after 2000 years. There has been some destruction due to the time but everything was left untouched, the overall distribution being the same.

Allen reached the foot of the tower that was surrounded by some wall of wind. These were the last remains left by Decarabian, which still lasted today. Endora summoned some birds made of Hydro and Allen jumped on them, flying upward the walls and reaching the peak of the tower.

From the peak, it was as simple as falling to the interior where Allen was able to see her objective. An enormous azure-blue sleeping dragon with six wings and a massive feathered tail.

"Dvalin" Allen approached the dragon, her gaze focusing on two purple sharp spikes at its back 'Those should be the corrupted blood left by Durin. I always thought that the Abyss Order planned to awaken him, but it could be that it was all a coincidence, trying to take control of it once he naturally awakens.'

"I'm sorry, but your sleep will be a little shorter" Allen grinned taking a sharp red-black rock, the same one used to summon monsters and anger Ursa.

*Sha* Allen pierced the rock into Dvalin's body, embedding it in its body.

"GRRRRRRRRRRR!" Dvalin instantly woke up and roared, its eyes red with furry and madness as it stood up, its body shining with a green light while all three spikes shined brightly.

Allen jumped from its back landing next to Endora with Dvalin's gaze fixed on her, swinging its claw towards her.

*Cla* The claw was completely stopped by a wall of hydro that surged from the floor that now had become a pool of water with Endora's powers.

Allen really liked having Endora with her. Endora was able to create the best environment for her to fight both as Columbina and as Allen, becoming an invaluable help to her.

"We are not your enemies. We only waited for your awakening" Allen stated "But poor Dvalin risking its life against Durin, falling into an almost eternal sleep, all to protect Mondstadt, but how do they pay you? Ignoring and abandoning you, now not even remembering your name. Poor Dvaling, abandoned by Mondstadt and Barbatos, its people and friend."

Allen's voice resounded over Dvalin's mind, blurring its quite weakening mind. Dvalin wanted to negate, but after its long sleep no help has come, making Allen's word seem truthful about being abandoned, only a small hope remaining inside its heart for Mondstadt still remembering its West Wind.

"GRRRRRR!" Dvalin roared again, creating a strong wind with its wings and ascending, flying, and leaving the tower. It was that small hope that guided Dvalin, wanting to find that people still remembered it.

"You will shortly be convinced and then..." Allen hummed "Show them your anger, Stormterror."

...

"An attack!" "A monsters!" "Defend!"

It has been 500 years since Dvalin appeared, making it a long enough time for most people to forget about it. However, there were still documents and tales about it, making it recognizable to some people.

However, young people were not knowledgeable in such tales, and with all the captains of the Favonius that knew about Dvalin leaving for the Expedition, it has left only a few people with such knowledge like Jean and Lisa.

The possibility of being recognized was extremely low, but even as such Allen did not risk it. He made use of some Fatui members at Mondstadt, informing the folk about the dangerous dragon that was directing to Mondstadt and immediately forcing an attack on Dvalin's appearance.

With the first attack, Dvalin's destiny was fixed. The young and inexperienced new knights lusting for glory and honor, their heads full of tales, quickly answered with their attacks, infuriating the dragon.

"GRRRRRR!" Dvalin roared in pain. But it was not the weak attacks of the soldier that hurt it, it was their action and anger, it was the treason, the loss of its last hope.

*Sp!* A snap of fingers was heard and the black-red pillar over Dvalin's back started shining brightly, completely taking away its mind into the madness, its last strength having left at this time.

*GRRRRRR!* Dvalin roared, creating two Pulse Bombs and firing them toward the city. Jean, Eula, and some new captains appeared, but it was already too late. Dvalin was a lost cause, and in their position, they would be unable to stop Dvalin's attack, which would certainly cause casualties and destruction.

*Swish* Just as the Pulse Bombs were about to hit some houses and people, Allen appeared, jumping into their path and perfectly cutting them, dispersing them into nothing and completely protecting the citizens.

Allen propelled herself with a jet of water onto Mondstadt's wall, facing the dragon directly. "I will not let you harm these people, monster. I will protect them!"

She slashed the air with her Flute multiple times at immense speed, shooting Hydro blades toward Dvalin. Although they did not seem to cause much damage to him, they forced him back, and he looked at Allen one last time before turning around and fleeing to his lair.

"Columbina has saved us!" "She has defeated the monster!" "Columbina has defeated Stormterror!" "All hail, Columbina!" The chants started by the Fatui agents but quickly turned into cheers from the people of Mondstadt who had witnessed Allen's heroism.

Mondstadt thought of Columbina as a hero who had killed Ursa, but none had seen that feat. Now it was different, she had shown her strength and accomplishment against the enormous new dragon in front of all.

Allen jumped back into the city, showing her concern for the injured and offering her help before the people's praise.

'Just as planned,' Allen thought, containing her grin. Her plan had been executed perfectly. She had caused Dvalin to lose his reason, making it easy to control. She had even made a little show of it, attacking it lightly while activating the gadget left at its lair, another stone that would attract it, making it appear as though it had flown away in fright Allen's strength.

All of this had further improved Columbina's reputation, forcing Mondstadt to owe her another favor. Seeing all the smiles and cheers around her, Allen smiled brightly, infatuating most people with her beauty. 'I love it when a plan comes together,' she thought, turning towards the uptown area and looking at the big statue in the plaza. 'Now, it's your turn. Come, Barbatos.'
