Genshin Impact: Icy Path

A Genshin Impact fan dies and finds himself over the fantasy world of Teyvat. However, funny adventures, riches and fame were no waiting for him, instead, a cruel reality and a curse is what lay in front of him, forcing him to use all his means to protect his new loved ones, even if means falling to deepest abysm. ---- I thought about this story months ago before the actual start of the 2.0 version, finally having some time now to write it. So there would be some changes from it (For example the lost of Raiden Shogun's gnosis). Also, the story would start at the Snezhnaya, so I would invent most of it as it lacks concrete information. ---- To support me p*treon.com/picaco for chapter in advance.

{AN: The chapter of this week would have already ended, but seeing that I reached the top 100 in the fanfic rankings and that this will be the chapter 100, extra chapter for you!

Who would have thought I would reach 100 chapters in this fanfic that I started more than a year before? (Sorry for the hiatus between)

Oh and if I reach 500 powerstone you will gain another plus chapter for a total of 7 this week, a chapter every day.

Only one more chapter to finish the volume. Enjoy it!}

"This is your new house" Pantalone said once they reached the place.

"Woaw" Ellen said surprised by the big house that rather than a house, calling it a mansion will be a far better way to describe it.

It encompassed a huge area with a big and prime garden that you wouldn't expect from such a cold region, plus a big pond that seemed more like a lake. The site was compromised by two attached buildings with tall towers and huge windows, giving a classic and grand feeling of nobility.

Entering the building, it showed even grander, with tall ceilings and wide halls, all decorated with valuable art everywhere, seeming more of a museum. And in the entrance, floating in front of them there was a blue baton.

"What's that?" Ellen asked curiously pointing at the baton.

"That's Grand Orchestre." Pantalone explained "It was Kagome's weapon. So I suppose it's now yours."

Allen stepped forward taking it. She clearly remembered, Columbina's Soul Weapon, which took the form of three different instruments, her fighting style changing with each one. Allen wasn't sure if it will go well with her style or if she will be able to bind it, but she was sure that it was an incredibly powerful weapon.

With a little touch, the baton disappeared, absorbed into her body.

"Something is wrong" Allen frowned as she tried to invoke it again to not fail. She could feel the bind with it, but she was unable to invoke it again.

"Maybe it's not time yet" Pantalone said with a mysterious smile.

"I'll leave you some time alone" Pantalone said as he was about to leave "One last thing. You should hurry and contract some workers as I doubt that you will want to take care of the house alone."

"There aren't any servants?" Allen asked curiously.

"Kagome hated even the presence of humans, that's why she preferred to work alone. She didn't have any subordinates in her charge or servants. Preferring to do it everything alone."

"Really?" Allen said looking around the palace. It was difficult to believe one person alone could take care of everything.

"Let's say that she was that powerful." Pantalone smiled again "Take into account that she wasn't using her Delusion and her strength was very reliant on it."

"For the money, don't worry. Now that you are a Harbinger, it won't be a problem. I'm here to make sure of it." Pantalone finished and left the palace.

"I don't like him" Just as Pantalone left, Ellen said glaring at the door. "I can feel it, he has no good intentions."

"I also don't trust him much, but he has helped me a lot during this time. He even saved you while I was trying to cross the walls."

Allen withdrew her Delusion, returning to his usual body "I'll try to talk with Alina about the workers."

"Who is Alina?" Ellen tilted her head curiously.

"She is... wait for a little. I'll tell you everything in order." Allen thought better.

They started roaming all over the palace. Pool, library, multiple large suites and private ones, gym, covered trained arena and even a gallery of art, the palace had everything that could be dreamt of.

They stopped at the kitchen that was full of food, Allen preparing something to eat for both, then they both went to the main suite, the grandest for the owner of the place, and changed into some pajamas and Allen started talking about everything that happened while both laid on the huge bed.

Allen shared every detail with Ellen without hiding anything no matter what. In this world, Ellen was the only person that he trusted so much and would without any doubt risk his life for.

"Sorry, brother" Ellen apologized with a shameful face "If it weren't for me, you shouldn't have passed for so much, putting yourself in danger. It would have been so much easier for you if I wasn't ill."

"I do it because I wanted, Ellen" Allen took her hands "You are very important to me. The most important! Don't blame yourself for that. In the end, it was you who took care of me and gave me the strength to reach this point."

"You really have grown, brother" Ellen laughed "I still remember you crying and following me around, seeming unable to do nothing without me."

"Ellen" Allen turned serious, pushing a little Ellen and creating some distance, causing Ellen to become anxious. "I have one last secret. It's about the reason I was able to change so much. The truth is that I have memories of another person."

Allen explained everything, about how was Joseph's life, how he took control of the body and how in the end, they fused together their souls. He even talked about how this world was a game in the other world.

"Sorry, Ellen. I didn't want to lie to you, but I suppose that I am no longer truly your brother" Allen said sadly, looking anxiously at Ellen's frozen face, waiting for her answer.

Ellen approached Allen and lifted her hands, resting them over Allen face and fixing his gaze on her "It doesn't matter. The same way that I knew when I was unfrozen, I knew it all this time while we talk. You may have changed, but you are still yourself. I can feel it. You are my dear brother, and nothing will change it."

"Thanks, Ellen" some tears fell from Allen's eyes, tears of happiness. Allen had been terrified at how Ellen would react, maybe hating him or treating him as the assassin of her brother, some part of him wanted to not say anything to her and kept it a secret. But he didn't want to lie to Ellen.

"I love you Ellen" Allen took her in a tight hug, kissing her cheek. In the end, Allen felt truly happy about having told her. Ellen has shown that she was the only one that he could trust and the first person with who he was able to completely open up.

"I love you, brother"

The day had been a long one and after telling their experiences and feelings, freeing their tension of his secrets, both were quickly tired, falling asleep while linking their hands.

...

The next morning, both siblings were in the dining room having their breakfast. Allen smiled as he looked at Ellen happily eating her scramble eggs while swinging her legs.

"So what would we do now?" After finishing her breakfast, Ellen asked.

"For now, you would stay here for the time being." Allen answered "You can have everything that you want and I'll make sure that you live as a princess."

"I like the big house and all, but what I truly want is to be with you, brother." Ellen answered.

"I'm the same, Ellen" Allen smiled "That's precisely why I want to cure you the fastest way possible. Then, we will be able to always be together."

"Sorry" Ellen lowered her head, knowing that everything was the fault of her illness.

"Don't be it. I'll make sure to obtain a solution. I will need to finish quickly my first mission, but then I will start working hard to obtain a Gnosis."

"Mondstadt or Liyue?" Ellen asked fully aware of the game story after last night's explanation. Modstadt and Liyue, seemed the easiest ones as they were aware of the possibility of their Archons losing or giving them.

"Let's see how everything goes before deciding."

"Hm!" Ellen nodded. "Oh? And you talked before about how you let Kirill live."

"Yes, I kept him watched." Allen explained "Kirill treated both of us badly for a year. I wanted the decision of him to be decided by both of us."

"I want to ignore him" Ellen answered.

"Ignore?"

"Hm!" Ellen nodded "I want to forget that bad past, passing a new page with only you. So rather than worry about him, letting him live or killing him. I want to ignore it, forget that he even exist. The only important of that time was you. And I'm happy that you are fine."

"Okay" Allen smiled at his sister "Let's forget the bad moments."

*Ding* *Dong* The doorbell sounded, Ellen tensing with it.

"Don't worry. It's a friend" Allen somehow could feel everything inside the palace and he was able to discern who was at the door.

Allen took Ellen and both went towards the entrance, opening the door.

"Hey!" The young man at the door saluted.

"Hello, Ajax."
