On the other side... 2

"During these months the complaints had increased, and more soldiers of the Shogun are trying to shore to put into practice the new Vision Hunt Decree. The people don't feel secure and the shouts against it are quickly increasing." My secretary told me the situation "What should we do, your Excellency?"

Listening to the report I couldn't avoid thinking about a certain boy 'It's exactly as you expected, Allen. It seems that I really need to follow his plan'

"This is not something we can stop amicably. Tell everyone to prepare." I said with a serious tone.

As Allen had predicted, the Vision Hunt Decree started and with it a great opposition to the new law. Visions were considered to be their ambition, part of themselves that could be told as their own soul, of course, nobody would give them up without a fight. If nothing was done, revolts will start all over Inazuma.

However, the Shogunate's strength was too big. They have enough power to stop the revolts and force the decree, even if it means to even invade Watatsumi Island. If I don't do anything, a lot of my citizens will suffer.

'I must protect Watatsumi Island and do the best for its people.'

There's only one answer if I want to go against it.

"Watatsumi Island is going to war!" I declared shocking my advisors.

"Isn't it too early? Should we not wait and see how it develops and the opposition against it?" One of the advisors advised "It might end before we truly reach the worst scenario."

"I will be really glad if that was the case, but waiting that time would be the same as losing our best opportunity" I stated.

"But we can't win against Narukami Island!" Another shouted scared "Their army far surpassed ours."

"That's precisely why we need to act with celerity. Declaring war against the new decree would make us its main opponent that would attract people to join our side. Especially the strong Vision users. That rather than early causing a revolt would join our forces." I explained "Declaring this war, we will stop a Civil War over Narukami, obtaining all the rebels."

"Your Excellency, while you might be right, we will still need time to regroup. If we really act now, I'm afraid we will be crushed before achieving it." One woman said.

"Your name was Mao?" The woman nodded "Well said, I promote you as my first advisor." I want soldiers that don't doubt my orders. Someone that doesn't blindly follow me and thinks for themselves is what I need for advisors not like those. I look over the ones that didn't dare to talk at all, most of them old posts.

"Your Excellency!" Mao said surprised.

"You are right, we need more time. But..." I extend some papers on the middle of the table "I have a plan" I pointed at the map "We will invade Yashiori Island as our declaration of war before advancing to Kannazuka."

...

Our intent of war was shortly made known all over Inazuma as Watatsumi's army invaded the relatively unprotected Yashiori Island as was done in the past in need of resources. Advancing until we reached Kannazuka.

"We really repeat history" From the cliff, I could see the remains of our protector god, Orobashi. Its huge skeleton all over Yashiori Island, transmitting the past war and the might of the Shogun.

"They are coming, your Excellency" Gorou informed me as the Shogun's army entered their sight.

Gorou was one of my greatest discoveries. He was a courageous and reliable young boy that even at his young age, he was able to show his strength and sense of camaraderie gaining the respect of the soldiers and becoming a pillar for them. Moreover, his loyalty was unquestionable and he possessed a Geo Vision that really affected in group battles. 'He still needs to grow up a bit, but I am sure he would become my main general.'

I turned around over where Gorou was pointing and was finally able to see the big army marching through Kannazuka. Their numbers were far bigger than ours, being four times greater, and they were led by Kujou Sara herself.

'All according to the plan' I smiled. I've learned about Kujou Sara's and Niwa Tomoki's combat, Sara becoming quite prompt to act since them. That being the main reason for their quick answer against our forces.

"It would become dangerous shortly, you must return over Watatsumi Island, your Excellency" Gorou stated "I will give my life for the victory."

"Your loyalty is praiseworthy, but I still have something to do" I turned around, looking at an old shrine "There's a reason for putting the army to still and bringing only you here, Gorou" I extend my arm over the Shrine as my Vision starts shining "I trust that you will protect my back."

"Yes!" Gorou hit his chest.

"Let's start!" Using my Vision and my Everlasting Moonglow, I shot a water torrent toward the shrine, completely smashing it, a pillar of light shooting from it to the sky and quickly followed by two more pillars around Kannazuka.

"Face the wrath of our god"

*Cr* *Cr* Thunder cracked and a rain of lightning started falling over Kannazuka, all of it while a dark smoke extended everywhere from the Mikage Furnace, completely swallowing the Shogun's army.

"Cou!" "Cou!" "Agrr" I looked down at their army that shortly started falling to their knees. The lucky ones dying quickly by lightning while the other started coughing and shouting painfully while holding their head as the Tatarigami affected them.

'What a tactic' A big smile surged unconsciously from my mouth as I saw the big army falling with only the Vision users, the ones that they wanted to hunt, being more immune to it. Kujou Sara quickly ordered me to retire, but it was too late already.

They were done. They won't be able to fight anymore and would only be able to wait for their painful death.

"Let's reorganize our forces." I turned around, returning to Yashiori Island where my army stood "We have to prepare for a long war."

...

Declaring war, adjusting our speed to force a confrontation over Kannazuka, only to stop the advance, waiting for the enemy to pass through it to activate the Mikage Furnace. All of it with detailed information on how to release the Tataragami, knowing where the shrines were and how to destroy them to make the most impact.

All of it, not only created a big victory but also created a border between them, making the Shogun's army stop their moments for impossibility to crossing over Kannazuka and giving us time to increase our strength with the opposition's forces that will more surely come now that they knew about their victory.

"You really made a good plan, Allen" I look over the papers that Allen gave me before leaving Inazuma explaining this plan.

"Now, we have created a stalemate, but there's still a big problem."

"While our pieces are similar, I lack the power to kill their king. Shall I play for the draw or..."

*Fush* I looked over the sky seeing the sign of someone unlocking his second constellation. "...will you return with the strength needed." I smiled "I'm waiting for you, Allen."

...

Over a dark place full of ruins, a somewhat 60 years old man swiftly crossed over the place while looking at his surroundings, showing some agile movements that didn't match his burly body, detecting and avoiding most of the traps and monsters until he finally reached a huge dark room with a mural in it.

"This is...?!" The man's golden eyes showed shock at the revelation.

"Hg!" Suddenly, the man groaned painfully as he held his hands over his eyes.

When the pain finally subsided after some seconds and the man lowered his hands, he revealed his golden eyes, the iris of them having acquired a primogem-like form.

"So you have discovered the truth."

"Who are you?!" The golden-eyed man turned around, and from the shadows, a man appeared. With his black hair, pale blue left eye and the left side of his face covered by a mask, anyone that knew about him could have recognized him as Pierro, the 1st and leader of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers.

"I am who will give you an option" Pierro answered "You can forget about this, trying to keep as if nothing while hiding it, putting the ones closest to you in danger if discovered or you can follow me to fight that truth next to the Tsaritsa." Pierro offered his hand.

The golden-eyed man doubted what to do for a moment. He knew that the man was a Fatui and all the atrocities and illegal activities that they do in the dark, but that new secret...

In the end, the golden-eyed man took Pierro's hand.

Some days later, at the Favonius' headquarters in Mondstadt, in an office, a coat of arms and a sword were left over a table, leaving no trail at all.
