Genshin Impact: Icy Path

A Genshin Impact fan dies and finds himself over the fantasy world of Teyvat. However, funny adventures, riches and fame were no waiting for him, instead, a cruel reality and a curse is what lay in front of him, forcing him to use all his means to protect his new loved ones, even if means falling to deepest abysm. ---- I thought about this story months ago before the actual start of the 2.0 version, finally having some time now to write it. So there would be some changes from it (For example the lost of Raiden Shogun's gnosis). Also, the story would start at the Snezhnaya, so I would invent most of it as it lacks concrete information. ---- To support me p*treon.com/picaco for chapter in advance.

God's Constellation

The raging gales sounded thunderous as they crossed the walls covering Mondstadt, but it was quite easy to cross. In the end, it wasn't the strong gales that stopped people from leaving, it was the desolation further away.

Allen finally reached outside the city, and for the first time, he was able to see the outside world. He saw an eternal blizzard barring all, whitening the land. The vision was greatly reduced, and it was difficult to see more than a few meters away, but snow was the only thing to see.

"So where are we going now, boy?" Ragn asked.

"We should find more people for now. There should be some encampment around with the people that denied living in the city," Allen answered.

"Should? Do you have no idea? How can you find anything in this blizzard!" Ragn complained. "Seeing your confidence, I thought that you will have some idea, but it seems that you are just a simple delusional boy. We are not even prepared for this, we will die in the blizzard!"

"Calm down. I might not have planned it, but we have some help," Allen turned towards the fairy.

"Could you guide us, fairy?"

The fairy nodded quickly and started shining. Its glow became bigger, covering Allen and Ragn. "It's warm. I can't feel the blizzard at all!" Ragn wondered as the fairy started moving, swinging its head trying to make them follow.

"Let's go," Allen commanded, and Ragn and he followed the fairy, crossing over the blizzard for an hour until they were able to see a similar green light in their view. Approaching it, they saw a small settlement with six poorly improvised tents, all of them covered by an aura similar to the fairy, protecting it from the blizzard.

"Elf has returned!" A shout was heard from the settlement. Just as they stepped inside the green dome, they were quickly surrounded by people. There were women, kids, and men, with all the men wielding lances or swords and warily looking at Allen and Ragn.

"We are glad of your return, Elf. We were worried when you suddenly disappeared," an only old man of the tribe approached. "Who might you be?" The old man said turning over Allen and Ragn.

"We escaped from Mondstadt. Elf here saved us when we were in a pinch," Allen explained.

"It's that true, Elf?" The old man asked, and the Elf turned to Allen as if waiting for an answer. Then it returned over to the old man and nodded quickly. "So you were also saved by Elf. If it's like that, you can stay here for the time being." Instantly the wariness of the people lowered.

"Thanks," Allen said. "Are you the head of this encampment? I would like to ask something."

"I'm not its head," the old man shook his head. "But, the actual one..." he made a strange face. "She is not good n-"

"Hm!" A hum was heard. "Who dares to trespass my Immernachreich? My kingdom of eternal twilight!" Over one of the tents, a girl appeared exclaiming, gaining different reactions from everyone.

The tribesmen looked down ashamed, trying to hide themselves, Ragn looked at the girl confused, not knowing what this was all about, and Elf's eyes became big, showing happiness as it started giggling while flying to the girl.

"I, Gunnhildr, Prinzessin der Verurteilung, shall punish the-" The girl stopped, her gaze fixed on Allen's surprised eyes who instantly recognized that way to talk.

"Venti?!" "Gunnhildr?!" Both shouted in the unison.

"You know each other?" asked the old man, confused. "How could it be?"

"Could you leave us some time alone?" Allen asked, taking Fischl inside one of the tents.

"What are you doing here, Gunnhildr?" he asked Fischl, realizing again that he was unable to say her real name.

"Why are you also calling me Gunnhildr, Venti?" Fischl asked, discovering her inability to say Allen's name.

"Venti, Venti, Venti!" she tried again, without success. "What is happening!?"

"So that's it," Allen sighed as he realized what was happening. "These are the roles that we took in this memory, and people recognize us as such, even if it makes us unable to refer to each other as before."

"For now, it seems that you are Gunnhildr, and I am Venti. Could you tell me what happened during your time here?" Allen asked.

"When I opened my eyes, I was already here, and everyone was calling me Gunnhildr, saying that I am the clan leader," Fischl explained.

'She must have been scared. Even her tone is more normal than usual,' Allen thought, listening to her.

"I lost my Edelstein der Dunkelheit. Oz is nowhere!" Fischl said worriedly.

'Of course, like me, she doesn't have her Vision, and Oz is her elemental skill...' Allen thought to himself. Just then, Elf entered the tent and started flying around Fischl's head, giggling as if trying to cheer her up.

"Thanks, Elf," Fischl smiled at the familiar. "You were the only one that helped me."

Elf started shining again, and its light went over Fischl, who suddenly realized something.

"I summon thee!" she exclaimed as a green raven made of wind appeared next to her. "Oz!" Fischl launched herself onto the raven, hugging it.

"I apologize for my absence, Mein Fräulein," Oz said apologetically.

"So you can still use elemental abilities?" Allen asked Fischl.

"Verily, this mortal flesh may shackle my soul, but fear not, for the boundlessness of my power shall not be fettered by it forevermore! By enlisting the aid of my newly-acquired familiar, a portion of said power can be unfurled and unleashed upon the world!" Fischl explained.

'Of course,' Allen thought to himself. 'Here, Visions don't exist, but Elf can share its power with us, giving us something similar to the Visions. It was the same when I broke down the jail.'

"Can you do anything else apart from summoning Oz?" Allen asked Fischl.

"Behold! Naught is impossible for this Prinzessin!" exclaimed Fischl, brimming with pride. But then, with a sudden hush in her tone, she continued, "Although... there was a time when even I could not accomplish it. Until now, that is."

'It could be due to the constellations. Elf had gained one when we escaped, so it might have increased its power, letting Fischl's strength also increase with it,' Allen thought to himself. "It's clear that Elf is the key to clearing this memory.'

"It seems that Elf is very important," Allen said. "If we need to complete this memory, we need to increase its strength, gaining the power to face Decarabian and free Old Mondstadt."

"But pray tell, how might we attain such an achievement?" inquired Fischl, her curiosity piqued.

"I'm not sure yet. But for now, we should increase our side strength, only with this clan is nowhere near to be able to overthrow Decarabian."

*Boom!* A loud noise suddenly shook the tent, prompting Fischl and Allen to quickly exit.

Outside the camp, a crater had formed, and from it emerged a man carrying a woman. Allen recognized the woman as Amos, the one who had detained him in the city.

The man was tall, around two meters, with a lean, muscular body. His long, wild aqua hair reached his hips, and his sharp, aqua-green eyes were set in a handsome face. He wore no shirt, revealing his abs and muscular body, and only a pair of scaled pants covered him.

"Decarabian!" the old man exclaimed, recognizing the man as the God of Storms.

Decarabian carefully placed Amos on the ground before walking over the settlement. With each step, he kicked up a fierce wind, which cleared the snow around him.

"Hand over the spirit, and I shall spare your lives," Decarabian declared, his voice thunderous. "I will even accept you under my protection." His gaze fell on Elf, who trembled in fear.

Like Elf, the other clansmen fell to their knees, overcome by Decarabian's mere presence. Only Ragn, Allen, and Fischl remained standing.

"I wasn't expecting the final boss to appear here," Allen muttered to himself. "Elf is important, but we can't face Decarabian like this."

"Might you be in distress?" Fischl strode forth, brandishing her trusty bow, ready to defend Elf. "Despair not, dear familiar, for with the Auge der Verurteilung, my left eye that peers into the very fabric of destiny, I shall shield you from all harm. And fret not, for Oz, the raven that has borne witness to the downfall of countless worlds, shall keep a watchful eye over you." As she spoke, Fischl imbued an arrow with the Anemo power of Oz,.

"Should any vile creature dare to prowl in the stillness of the night and threaten to plunder your peaceful slumber, then fear not, for I, the Prinzessin der Verurteilung, shall vanquish it with my arrows of enchantment and deliver judgment upon it!" exclaimed Fischl, her confidence unwavering as she launched an arrow toward Decarabian's head with unerring accuracy.

"Idiocy!" a tornado rose from Decarabian's feet, pushing the arrow away and destroying it.

"You were the ones who did not accept my mercy!" Decarabian extended his right arm, his palm pointed at them. "Die!" A strong tornado surged from his palm, threatening to swallow them.

"Thou shall not!" Fischl leaped forward, standing between the others and the imminent danger, cradling Elf high above her head. "For they are under my protection, and none shall lay a finger upon them!" With a fierce determination, Fischl stretched out both hands and summoned forth an Anemo shield that stood like a fortress wall before her, mightier and more potent than any other, guarding her companions against all harm.

*Bang!* Fischl stopped the tornado with her shield, but she was rooted in place, needing all her power to stand against it.

"So that's your priestess," Decarabian said, surprised. "But that's far from enough. HA!" He extended his left hand, and the tornado instantly became stronger, pushing Fischl, whose shield started cracking.

"This realm is no home for a princess...Ah!" Fischl's shield was destroyed, but before the tornado could hit her, Allen stepped forward, wielding his lyre.

Elf reacted by changing its light from Fischl to Allen. "For survival!♪" Anemo energy surged from his lyre, forming a sword.

*Swish!* Allen wielded the Anemo sword, slicing the incoming tornado with a swift move, and dispersing it.

"Two priests?" Decarabian was even more shocked. "I can't let you live!" He extended his arms over his head, forming a ball of Anemo that started absorbing the surrounding air, becoming bigger.

"Die!" Decarabian threw the ball towards Allen who was sure that he won't be able to stop it.

'I shall use my full strength' Allen gritted his teeth as he decided to use his Delusion.

"AUUUUUUUUUUU!" A man fell from the sky with long ice claws surging from his hands. He swung them over the Anemo ball, destroying it.

The man was similar to Decarabian, but with a more rugged appearance, wearing pelts and sporting blue and white hair."

"Andrius!" Decarabian growled at the man.

"You dare to trespass again my territory, Decarabian!" Andrius growled.

*FUSH!* the sky over them cleaned, showing two big constellations, both of them with 6 shiny stars. Decarabian's one had the form of a tornado and Andrius of a wolf.

'So this is Andrius' Allen was surprised by the majestic and powerful man that did not fall much weaker than even Decarabian.

"AUUUUUU!" Andrius howled, invoking wolves all around him before turning over Allen's group "Leave now! Your fear only gives him strength."

"Follow my lead!" Fischl declared, the people of her clan reacting and turning over her "Elf, show us the path!" They all started, following Fischl and Elf while Andrius and its wolves interposed between them and Decarabian.

"Dammit!" Decarabian cursed seeing them escape. "Amos, chase them!"

"But my lord, you might be in danger" Amos said worriedly about Decarabian.

"Follow my orders, Amos!" Decarabian shouted before turning to Andrius "You can't die here."

"Yes, my lord" Amos nodded and quickly left the place, chasing after Allen's group not without looking worriedly at her back "Be safe, my love."

"Andrius, why are you again interposing in my path?!" An immense tornado surged around Decarabian, targeting Andrius and especially the wolves around it.

Andrius hit the ground and ice claws surged from it, creating a protective wall.

The ice wall was able to fend off the tornado, but once Andrius withdrew its wall, Decarabian was no longer in view, only leaving his words behind as he left to the city "Stop this useless resistance"
