7 Wolvendom and Lumine

Life was a blessing. The life we possess is far too fragile, it can be extinguished in a instant, crushed, like a insect.

I consider myself lucky, for I was blessed to not have any disability, like the unfortunate ones.

People pity those who do not have sight, hearing, speech or disability of limb or mind. Oh how pitiful must such a person feel? How pitiful and incomplete their existence must be.

I was never overly religious, but i believed in god. I believed in Karma.

You must face the consequences of your actions, whether it is today or tomorrow, whether it is in this life or another, you will repay.

Yet, I am a part of the Fatui. I know that i will face the consequences of my sin one day, so i try my best to not commit any sin.

Before me, all life is equal, like to God, every life is equal. Whether it be a human or an animal, whether it be a man or a woman, whether it be a child or a elder. Harming the innocent will only fill the cup of my sin, until my day of facing it comes or the cup reaches its limit.

Anyway, I was supposed to get a mission now.

Let me tell you what happened in the last two hours.

Lumine, Diluc, Jean and Venti jumped Dvalin, destroyed his ass, got back to Mondstadt.

After returning to Mondstadt, they went to return the Holy Lyre to the cathedral. The lyre was broken so Venti placed a illusion on it and then him and Lumine ran away.

Then, Signora and her Fatui agents jumped them. Signora then took Venti's gnosis, got called a Invasive vermin, kicked Venti and then left Mondstadt.

By the way, she never came to the training ground that day so i just trained there, alone.

And, I discovered something. Using Blue at the scale where it becomes usuable in combat, drains me all of my energy, not only that, it is really unstable.

And yes, I tried to use Red, but i only created a single whip of red energy before it dissipated.

I then, returned to my room at Grand Goth Hotel.

My new room was twice as big as my last one, it had a soft bed and a brand new Fontainian invention, a fucking Television.

Yeah, I also thought 'what the fuck' when I first saw it. It wasn't a black and white one but was like the old colored T.Vs, apparently, you could only see tapes in this one since T.V channels hadn't been created yet. Apparently, it was also very expensive, considered a luxury even.

Now, I know you are not here for this stuff. You are here for adventure, for plot, for comedy, and I'll give you exactly that.

It's time to take a mission!

And so, I got off my cozy bed and exited my room, heading for the room where missions were given.

One minute later

I was now at the said room, it was mostly quiet with exception of two agents talking.

Behind the desk, was a man instead of the woman, thank god.

I walked over to the desk and placed mg ID card infront of the man and said, "I am here for my mission.".

The man looked at the ID and then his eyes widened a little and he looked at me with suprise and interest, before bending down and grabbing a few papers and looking through them, before taking one and looking at me, "Your mission is to go to Wolvendom and investigate the strange wolves there and the Wolf God, Boreas. Be sure not to get harmed."

Ok- wait.... Boreas?.....

I seriously have to investigate the strongest being and god in Mondstadt, in my second mission.

Just great.

I nodded and turned around, heading for the exit.

I opened the door and walked out, basking in the morning sunlight. I smiled and looked ahead, maybe today won't be so bad.

With that, I embarked on my way to Wolvendom, walking through the streets of Mondstadt, hearing the hustle and bustle around me created a really nice atmosphere.

I had reached the city centre and the atmosphere was nice and calm-

Until, a really annoying voice entered my ears, "It's you!".

I recognized the voice in an instant. All of my happiness died down and my eyes fell and I turned around and looked at the flying emergency food and the blonde shortie, "It's you two." I said in a dry voice.

Emergency food stomped her feet in air, "Don't copy Paimon!".

"I am not copying you, Paimon." I said with a dead voice while staring at the pair dryly.

"You-! Ugh! You know, we can have revenge for how you blackmailed us back then!" Yelled Paimon.

I shrugged, "Although you can....." I looked at Lumine who was staring at me, "I am sure you won't."

I placed my hands on and said, "Anyway, congratulations for your heroic deeds, Oh mighty saviors of Mondstadt!"

Lumine crossed her hands and narrowed her eyes a little, "You are really weird.... But still, you are just cold and uncaring like the rest of the Fatui.... And her.... But you are just different, there is something different about you. Anyway, you sure are one tall and handsome Kid... I asked Jean about you. I can't believe how you managed to trick Master Jean and i dont know why Master Diluc let you go, but I am sure of it now, you are one of the more interesting Fatui. Not unlike the rest of the soldiers who don't have any personality, just empty fighters." She said.

Woah, Lumine spoke more there than she did in the entire game.

I raised my eye and shrugged, "Well.... You are free to speculate, I am sure you know pretty much everything about me since the Acting Grand Master has files on every Fatui stationed in Mondstadt. She is quite a Smart and Vigilant Lady." I said.

Lumine nodded, then, Paimon started up again, "So, Boris. You at least owe us a meal after what you did." She said while looking at the restaurant, Good Hunter's.

I smirked and shook my hand, "Ah well. Alright, let us have a delicious meal at Good Hunter's." I said as I turned and walked towards the restaurant and started walking.

"Yipee! Let's go, Lumine! Maybe he isn't so bad after all!" Said Paimon while floating behind me with Lumine walking behind her.

I sat down on one of the tables and looked at the waitress and said, "One Chicken Kebab and Fried Rice, Please. And whatever these two want."

After that, Paimon and Lumine gave their order and the waitress went in to get our orders while I just started silently at the two.

Paimon and Lumine started shifting uncomfortably because of the deadly silence and my dead stare.

'Geez. He is one quiet and cold kid.' Were the thoughts of Lumine and Paimon. Lumine would stare at my neck and face with her gaze shifting occasionally.

After some time, our orders arrived and Paimon and Lumine immediately immersed themselves into the meal and so did I.

After our meal was finished, the waitress took away our dishes and laid the bill on the table.

I stared at Lumine, who raised an eye brow and spoke, "Aren't you gonna pay?"

I raised my eyebrow and questioned, "Oh, but aren't you the adult here? C'mon, I am just fourteen, you should be the one paying.".

"What- Ugh.... You know what, fine...." Said Lumine with a annoyed look in her eyes as she pulled out her purse.

I nodded and stood up, "I must leave now, for I have important tasks to tend to." With that, I turned around and started walking away quickly towards the city gate.

Lumine's eyes widened as he fiddled with the mora she was giving the waitress, "Wh- Wait!" She said.

With that, I started running and the by the time Lumine finished paying the bill, I was gone.
