4 Meeting The Traveler

"Who are you? And why are you staring at us?" Asked Paimon as she observed me.

"Wait! Did he recognize us?!" She continued.

First Jean, Then Batman, Now Traveler, I sure as hell as meeting alot of important people today.

"Oh, you two must be the Outlanders who defeated the dragon and stole the Holy Lyre De Himel. Don't worry, I won't report you to the Knights, but you two mustn't be very bright to lurk around the city gate when the Knights are looking for you." I said looking at them.

"What? You wont report us? But why? And let Paimon tell you that Paimon is very bright! The idea to come here was uh- Luminr's idea! Yeah! It was Lumine's Idea!" Said Paimon While placing her fists on her waist.

Lumine glared at Paimon and then sighed and looked at me and placed her hands on her chest, "Thank you, for not reporting us to the Knights. But i must ask, why are you doing this? And who exactly are you?" She said, momentarily narrowing her eyes in suspicion.

"My Name is Boris, I am a Fatui Member. But dont worry, I stand to gain nothing from hurting or fighting you not do i have any intentions to do either of them and there is nothing else you need to know. As for why i am doing, there is no benefit for me in reporting you to the knights, just think of this as a favor, you owe me a favor now." I replied with a smirk while crossing my hands.

Lumine immediately narrowed her eyes and glared at me, preparing to summon her sword, "Fatui?! Why should I trust a Fatui member? Especially after you stole the Holy Lyre and left me to take the blame?!" She said while holding her sword.

I chuckled and raised my hands, trying to play cool in front of her so she doesn't think I am scared and attacks me right away even though I was on the edge of shitting myself, I was not used to being threatened with a sword, "That's true, you don't have any reason to trust me, but you don't have any reason to kill me, do you? Besides, we are right next to the city gate, so if I yell loud enough, the Knights will surely come over and see you commiting the act of Murder and your image will forever become tarnished. Besides, don't you see the fact I am not trying to go against? On the contrary, I am helping you by giving you words of wisdom. So, put that blade down, shortie." I said while smirking.

Sure enough, Lumine glared at me for minute before lowering her sword, "Hmph! Just so you know, if you try to do something shady, I won't hesitate to end you!" She said while looking at me.

I chuckled nodded and turned around to walk away before stopping and looking at her, "Just remember that I will be holding onto that favor." I said before I walked towards the bridge and started crossing it. I could faintly hear some curses from Lumine and the annoying voice of Paimon before they swiftly walked away.

I chuckled while crossing the bridge.

I nearly fucking died twice, but I guess my acting saved me. Why did I never think about becoming a actor in my previous life?

I contemplated various things while walking through Mondstadt until I arrived at Goth Grand Hotel.

Upon arriving, I immediately went into the hotel and looked at the Mission counter, I saw that the woman there was looking at a mirror and admiring herself, abruptly stopping when I entered and looking at me.

The woman smiled and waved at me, "You are back, Sweety! Looks like your mission was completed smoothly." She said.

I nodded and walked over and placed the mora bag on the counter, "Now, My payment." I said stoicly, trying to keep things as short as possible.

The Woman smiled and took the mora bag and placed it in a drawer and took out a bag of mora and handed it to me, "Here, that's 10 Thousand Mora! So, Sweety, I also wanted to give you a reward-" She said but was cut off by me.

"Did you add the mission credits to my profile?" I asked in the same tone.

The woman sighed in annoyance at being cut off but replied regardless, "Yes..... I added the mission credits to your profile.... Now, the reward I was talking- Hey! Where are you going?!" She said.

I had turned around and was walking towards the room I had been given.

So, what are mission credits?

There are actually two ways to get promoted in the Fatui. One, by being recognized for your talent and strength. Two, by completing missions and gaing Mission credits.

Mission credit level also allow the members to get higher payment and higher difficulty missions.

Anyway, I quickly arrived at my room and immediately jumped onto the bed as I was gonna visit the Fatui training ground tomorrow.
