11 Chapter 11

CRACK!

With a crisp sound, the sword was broken by the falling debris, and the broken part of the sword flew out in the direction of his head.

At this moment, the only question in Adam's mind was whether death in the copy/dungeon affects him in reality.

Fortunately, Adam didn't waste too much time thinking about this since a nice voice interrupted him.

"Kamisato Art: Hyouka!"

Accompanying the sound was ice-blue blue blossom that appeared on the ground. It was three or four meters in diameter. At its appearance, a cloud of icy mist erupted upwards. Everything in the area was sprayed upwards.

Fortunately, the edge of the mist was just a little bit away from Adam's location.

The falling rock and debris in front of Adam were shaken up with a bang. Then, he saw Ayaka rise up, swinging her sword out in an elegant manner, smashing all the debris in front of him in the process.

Adam looked at the elegant figure of 'Shirasagi Himegimi', only to feel his heartbeat faster and faster in admiration. All the rain, thunder, and falling debris disappeared in front of his eyes, leaving only the graceful and beautiful figure of Ayaka.

After solving the remaining group of falling rocks, Kamisato Ayaka came to Adam, making him regain his senses.

"Your swordsmanship is amazing, Miss Ayaka. You must have reached the level of your ancestors that created Kamisato Art." Adam was not stingy with his praise.

"Don't say that. I still have a lot to learn." After hearing his praise, Ayaka was a little embarrassed.

"This is already the best swordsmanship I've ever seen, I..." Adam didn't know how to describe it.

He really wanted to praise Ayaka to express his inner surprise. But, at this time, he was a little depressed because of his lack of vocabulary. It's as if a person on earth saw something spectacular and could only say "F*CK!".

Adam couldn't say that to Ayaka, right?

At this time, Ayaka suddenly said, "I was in a hurry to deal with the falling debris. But, I forgot where I left my umbrella."

After hearing what Ayaka said, Adam also realized that the two of them were soaked in the rain.

"My umbrella was also swept by the wind. I don't know where it went." Adam said helplessly with his hands spread.

Ayaka easily accepted this and said, "If that's the case, then we can only continue our journey without an umbrella. Let's head towards the shrine."

Naturally, Adam has no objection to this. Both of them were already soaking wet, and sharing an umbrella together will have a strange feeling... Of course, if there was an umbrella, he would still want to hold it.

Throwing away the broken sword, Adam followed Ayaka on the road.

As he walked, he stared at the soaking figure in front of him listlessly.

There was too much rain falling off the sky, wetting their clothes. So, the clothes tightly fit the body, displaying the amazing curvature of Ayaka's body.

Her body was amazing. The place that should be slender was slender, and the place that should be curvy was quite curvy. The lines displayed along the clothes were flawless, giving Adam a strong temptation to commit a crime. Adam secretly swallowed, resisting the temptation.

"Adam, the road ahead is blocked again. Get ready to climb the mountain with me." Ayaka's voice interrupted his stare.

"No problem," Adam replied with some expectations in his heart.

Climbing over the rock that blocked the way was not a bad experience for Adam since Ayaka would help in the process. He would hold her delicate little hand while climbing up, making him feel extremely comfortable. He wanted to keep holding her hands forever.

But, Kamisato Ayaka's heart was not so peaceful as on the surface.

After pulling Adam over a rocky obstacle, she turned around. She started walking in front, but her wet face was slightly flushed.

When Adam could feel the softness of her little hand, how could she not feel the warmth of his palm?

For Kamisato Ayaka, holding hands with the opposite sex was an experience she had never had before, which made her produce some strange feelings in her heart. She felt that holding hands with Adam didn't make her uncomfortable but speed up her heartbeat.

Therefore, after letting go of his warm hands, Kamisato Ayaka inexplicably felt a strange feeling of loss.

...

Mt. Yougou is very tall, and even at noon, the two of them couldn't reach the top of the mountain.

Adam and Ayaka stopped under a cherry tree. The lush branches and leaves blocked the constant rain, giving them some comfort. The pink and white cherry blossoms were swept away in the rainstorm, fluttering along with the wind.

"Fortunately, the package was nicely packed. The food inside is still edible." Adam said while nibbling on the rice ball.

Kamisato Ayaka didn't speak.

The closer she got to the Grand Narukami Shrine, the more silent she became because she had already felt wrong along the way. She felt more and more depressed, and her emotions were on the verge of collapse.

Adam tried saying a few more words, but Ayaka just ate the rice balls in silence, making Adam silent.

After a while, he saw that Ayaka had finished eating. So, he tried to cheer her up by saying, "Miss Ayaka, if I can, can I see your swordsmanship again? Your swordsmanship looks like an elegant and beautiful dance. It can help me resolve the loneliness inside, making me forget that we are the only person in the world."

Kamisato Ayaka's delicate body trembled slightly after hearing his request. Finally, she couldn't help speaking out, "Don't say such a thing. We can definitely find the others."

Adam smiled bitterly. "I hope so."

Kamisato Ayaka pursed her lips and got up, pulling out her Mistsplitter Reforged. "Adam, since you want to watch me dance, then let me dance with my sword."

After hearing Adam's words, Kamisato Ayaka realized something she had neglected. It was not only herself who was tormented inside but also Adam. As the eldest daughter of the Kamisato family, how could she watch others fall into pain while she was selfishly thinking about herself?

Ayaka realized that she was trapped inside her own world and didn't take proper care of others, simply embarrassing her family name.

So, decided to make up for it by displaying a Sword dance to Adam.

Ayaka performed a beautiful movement by rotating the ice crystals in the sky, making the whole person splendid. The dance made her look like a goddess, melting away the depression in Adam's heart.

After Adam looked at it, he realized something in his heart.

"Learning Kamisato Art: Kabuki, Proficiency 60%."
