Mondstadt Pt. 12

Aether was walking to the Temple of the Falcon. Paimon appeared beside him blushing in embarrassment.

"Paimon CAN'T believe you did that! Do you have any idea how much bleach Paimon needs for my eyes now! The nightmares Paimon will have! Paimon hates you Aether!" Paimon berated Aether who just smiled.

"You could've just shut your eyes and ears. It's that easy. And also she started it by kissing me on the cheek. Which is pretty unreasonable. You start from an "I miss you" comment to "I want you." My hormones just reacted I can't control that. " Aether made excuses.

" You're just spouting excuses! Paimon has nightmares and she can't get rid of them now!" Paimon whined.

" You know, you could've interrupted us. " Aether looked at Paimon suspiciously.

" Uuuuh... It's because Paimon was shocked.... Yeah! Paimon was shocked at how perverted the two of you are and how Paimon couldn't react properly! " Paimon looked at me angrily.

" It's all excuses Paimon. It'll do you better when you just come clean with me. " Aether said patting her head. Paimon pouted and looked away annoyed at Aether's actions.

"Fine! Paimon will be honest this time! She didn't want to interrupt you two because both of you look like you're enjoying what you're doing! How could Paimon interrupt that?! Both of you were smiling and blushing! And also both of you were saying those.... words and making those sounds.... Paimon just decided to stay silent and suffer. Then when Paimon comes out she'll scold you. " Paimon explained truthfully. Aether just smiled all the way through the explanation

"Thanks Paimon for not interrupting our moment. On behalf of Lisa, we apologize for letting your eyes and ears witness that. I'll make her apologize. Even if I have to use force.😏 Just be prepared next time okay? " Aether rubbed her head and apologized truthfully.

" Okay.... Wait there's a next time! " Paimon looked at Aether shocked.

" Duh. You think that was the last? Lisa wouldn't let me go like that." Aether raised his eyebrow and looked at Paimon amused.

" Nooooooo! Now Paimon has to make herself deaf and blind so she doesn't have to witness all that anymore! Paimon doesn't want that! " Paimon looked at Aether pleading him.

" I have an idea. When and if scenes like those happen. Just fly as far away as possible. That way you won't hear or see anything. " Aether put forward his idea.

" But what if you guys get.... loud or something? " Paimon was blushing. Are they really talking about sex while on a mission.

" Earplugs will do the job. I'll buy some when we get back to Mondstadt. " Aether said and turned away not saying anything anymore. Meaning that it's final and he wouldn't negotiate any longer. Paimon reluctantly agreed and flew along with him. Aether thought more about the attacks he could do with his weapons and elements.

"I know. I could make an explosion fist like Bakugo's quirk. Without the sweat obviously. But how do I protect myself from the blast. Flame armor can do the trick but it's a fucking explosion." Aether had another new idea easily. But now he just had to work on the details of the attack. A lot of things could go wrong if he doesn't plan and experiment. The usual for making new attacks in a different world.

" Maybe..... I'll activate the flame armor to protect my bones and skin at the same time. That's what I've always been doing. But when I activate it. I'll make another layer of fire and wind magic above my armor. The second layer will be far enough not to affect the armor. I need to experiment now. " Aether's hands now had steam coming out. He pumped more magic and steam came out even more. He stopped himself.

"I have weapons for a reason. That clearly isn't going to work. But it did sort of create a new move. Smokescreen. " Aether thought.

" What are you doing? " Paimon said looking over his shoulder. She saw the steam come out from his body just now and was curious.

" Trying to invent a new move. " Aether just answered and took out his spear. He had done this before though it didn't provide an explosion. It sure did mess up the hilichurls inside and outside.

"What are you trying to do? " Paimon asked curiously.

" Making an explosion." Aether said. He covered the blade part of the spear with the same principle as the flame armor. Grey smoke came out of the spear.

He then applied the combined elements. Which is fire and wind. When it did.

*Poof! Poof! Poof!*

Small flickers of fire popped around the spear. "This was only a small amount of magic. What happens when I slash that tree while I imbue a lot more of the combined element. " Aether thought. He got closer to a dry tree that had nothing on it.

"Stay back Paimon. This might get explosive. " Aether gripped the spear with both hands. It felt uncomfortable in his hands. He might need to tell Wagner to craft a Liyue style of the spear which is a guandao. If he can that is.

Aether slashed from the right. He added the combined elements. It caught in fire in a millisecond.

"Haaaaa!"

*BOOOM!*

An explosion occurred. Smoke surrounded Aether.

"Cough Cough!" Aether's coughed.

"Aether! Are you alright!?" Paimon flew over to Aether.

"Yes I'm fine." Aether's answered and looked at the tree. He grinned widely.

The tree was not fine. The side had a very big hole. It was all over the place. He looked at the spear. It was not harmed thankfully.

"Paimon get back one more time. I want to try it again." Aether said grinning like a madman. Now he knows why Bakugo was so proud of his quirk. It can do a lot of damage.

" Oh no. " Paimon said and flew behind another tree and looked out.

Aether gathered the flame armor and the combined elements in an unusual spot. The backside of the spear. He hit the tree with that part.

*Boom!*

*Plong plong plong*

Chunks of wood hit Aether. Luckily Aether had the flame armor activate or else his skin would've had a splinter on it.

"Hmmmm..... it didn't do as much damage. Probably because I didn't put too much power on it. How about it condense it on the tip of the spear and strike downwards?" Aether muttered. He covered the spear with flame armor. It was all in one spot. There were no exceptions. Big sparks of fire popped at the tip of the spear. Just the tip.

He struck down.

*BOOOOM!*

Once a again smoke covered the area. But this time it was a lot more than last time. Once the smoke cleared.

"Hehehahahahaha!!!" Aether looked at the destruction he caused and laughed. The grass was burning. Chunks of wood were scattered all over the ground. Only a little bit of the tree trunk was left standing.

"This is marvelous. I definitely need to improve on this part. " Aether thought but stopped himself from thinking more. He hasn't trained in his anemo and pyro elements in a level where once he combined these two it could pack a punch.

Once he reached a low adepti level mastery of the elements he can just experiment even more. Why? Imagine if he had a low adepti level mastery of the two elements. Once he combines it together imagine how much power the attack has.

"C'mon Paimon. We can't keep Amber waiting." Aether said and walked away. He was now in deep thought. He is now planning how to improve his control on his elements and his mastery over the two weapons he has. He can focus on other things later.
