3 Discovery

(I realized that some of you don't know how Genshin works. So pyro it is.)

A new day. The sun was rising. The light emitted from it shined into our dear Traveler. Aether who just woke up climbed down from the tree.

"Alright. I did say i was going to exercise today. I'm going to start of small today. I won't be able to do 100 pushups right off the bat. Slow and steady. That story thought me a lot." Aether said. He took off his clothes. Only leaving his pants on. He didn't want sweat on his shirt because it'll get smelly and he has no soap to make it fresh and clean.

Aether looked at his stomach. It had nothing but a belly button. Aether sighed and was disappointed in himself.

"We gotta start somewhere. It's every man's dream to get a six pack. If you're not one of them, are you even a man?(no offense to the trans community).Even if you've battled a god you still don't even have a six pack? Past Aether what are you on?" Aether roasted his past self.

Past Aether who was walking down the brick road with Lumine trying to escape Teyvat sneezed hard.

"Aether? Are you okay?" Lumine asked worried about her brother.

"I'm fine sis. I think someone just mentioned me. " Aether said wiping his nose.

"Well... we better get ready to fight. Because there's no way we're getting out of this world without having some resistance." Lumine said cautiously by looking around her.

"What did we even do that we have to leave this world immediately?" Aether asked Lumine.

"I don't know Aether. But we better focus. Someone could attack us any moment." Lumine said getting Aether out of his distraction.

"Yeah you're right." Aether said getting cautious again.

Aether was doing warm-ups when that flashback happened. He did not want to get a torn muscle when he just started. After warming up, Aether dropped down into a pushup position. He then started 10 pushups,10 sit ups, 10 squats separately and an 1km run to end it.

He'll add the amount once he feels like he doesn't get tired doing them. For now he'll just start of with this amount. He realized that he didn't get any Golden fingers so he's playing in Nightmare mode. He had to start early before the story even started.

(An hour later.)

Aether was leaning on the tree panting a little bit. His condition was a little better than ten minutes ago when he ended his exercise. He was breathing like a bull. He was sure Monstadt could hear him all the way from here. Yes... Aether was that tired. That's why he got no six pack.

"That's today's exercise done. Now time to cook the same meal as yesterday. Oh shit I have to catch the fish again. Aiya, it will be worth it in the end. " Aether moaned and stood out. He grabbed his spear and got into the position like he did yesterday.

"You know.... this also counts as training. Striking fish when they come near to you. I'll add that to the regime I guess. Though I would need to find a better spear than this to stab hilichurls." Aether thought.

Twenty minutes and an almost unusable hand later. Aether got his not so cooked lunch. He sat down again and cooked his meal that he ate yesterday. While waiting for the meal to be done. He pondered for a bit.

"I know that Aether gets his Anemo Element when he arrives at Monstadt. But I can't wait that long. I don't even have an element. And what is this burning feeling I am getting from my stomach?" Aether said out loud. He decided to save that thought for later as his fish was done cooking. He ate it, this time it tasted even better than yesterday's.

"Huh. Just like Genshin. You get better every time you cook the same meal." Aether said smiling.

After finishing the meal. Aether thought back to what he was thinking before.

"Burning feeling huh. Now that you've mentioned it. Whenever I think about my strength I always get that feeling. But it couldn't be. " Aether said. He decided to try the old meditation pose and tried to sense something deep within him.

"That feeling was in my stomach. It's so sudden as well. How did I get it? I should be grateful though." Aether thought grateful to whoever gave him this new power.

Aether concentrate on the feeling. He felt it again. The more he felt it, the more he felt hotter. He decided to stop his curiosity of fear of dying of hotness.

"WOW! So I have the pyro element now. The element isn't even available for the traveler and here I am. Having unreleased content." Aether joked to nobody still. He was getting really lonely. Where's Paimon when you needed her?

" But now I have so many ideas and uses for my new power. Hmmm. What should I do first? Ah I know. Light a fire with my magic. " Aether set his new goal and went out to do it.

" How should I do it though? Concentrate on one spot? Yeah I'll try that. " Aether sat down near the fire pit again and concentrated on his hand.

(Thirty minutes later)

A lot has happened in these thirty minutes. Aether has learned a lot but so little about his newfound powers.

Firstly, he couldn't even try to concentrate on his palm. So he turned into smaller things like his fingers. Now, he is concentrating all his might on his index finger.

It made him sweat a lot as he was flowing his pyro magic to his finger. Which is slow as fuck. It took about twenty seconds to reach his fingers. When it reached it lost control and it disappeared.

Aether deciding that this was not going to work gave up for now.

"How the fuck did Lisa summon thunderbolts from the sky? Guess she's not the best student of the Sumeru Akademiya in two centuries for nothing. " Aether looked at his finger. He felt that something was missing.

"How about when the magic reaches my finger I immediately push it to the outside. That should be the way right? I won't know if i don't try." Aether did just that. He slowly pushed magic to his finger. Once he thought the feeling was about to disappear. He pushed the magic hard. Hard enough to do this.

*Poof!*

A small fire appeared on his finger.

"Yes!"

That excitement made him lose control for a bit. And the fire disappeared.

"Fuck! Well it's a great step so I'm fine with it." Aether sighed. He then sat back into his meditation pose. He felt his burning core. Which is not so burning now, it's more like smoke rising out of the ashes.

"Heh. This was an eventful day. But I still haven't found a weapon. But at least I have an element. I'll train in that first. Then I'll worry about a weapon." Aether said and rested for his core to recharge.
